• Lucero Alexandra (1/5): PÉSIMA ESTADIA - En primer lugar la atención del personal pesimo, no tienen trato, no te orientan, asumen que ya sabes, en otros hoteles de “menor categoría “ son más atentos y te indican los pormenores del hotel en este caso, cero, al momento de sacar mis cosas del auto ni nos brindaron ayuda para llevar nuestras cosas a la habitación, tampoco no pude dormir nada por qué se escuchaba la bulla de la calle terrible las habitaciones no son antisonora, no te indican de qué hora a qué hora es el desayuno, mientras estaba en la piscina el día 1 ponían la misma canción en bucle , el día 2 de igual manera lo escuché en la hora de desayuno y en la piscina se supone que es una corporación , no es un hotel de baja categoría, tercero en la habitación solo pusieron una toalla grande y éramos dos personas, no ponen ni shampoo ni acondicionador, la TV solo tiene directv no permitía poner otro aplicativo como youtube al menos, cuarto -hubo un momento en que me desorienté donde o como iba para mi habitación y pese a que recepción se dio cuenta ni se le dio por brindarme ayuda, cuando culminó mi estadía fui a dejar mi tarjeta a recepción , le dije gracias y la señorita súper descortés ni respondió, en general pésima la estadía , no volvería así sea el último hotel en el cual tenga que hospedarme

• Dominic (9/5): Nice hotel let down by service - Really nice view of the city from the large balcony. The room and bed were very comfortable. Everything was clean. The hotel is modern and spacious. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The restaurant is open all day. The hotel is somewhat far from the centre. There were no seats on the balcony when we arrived and we had to request them. We had no help with the suitcases nor with finding the room. The bathroom was very small and the water didn't drain well from the shower. There were lots of mosquitos which a net on the windows would prevent. There was no free water; it had to be bought from the bar at an extortionate price. The service at reception was quite hostile and did not make us feel welcome; in fact, more than anything, that spoilt our experience of the hotel, and we will not return.

• Marggo (9/5): Excelente para descansar y estar comodos - Me gusta mucho la vista, es la segunda vez que me hospedó ahí, la piscina es bastante amplia y no muy profunda, todos muy amables. Un lugar perfecto.para pasar en familia y descansar. La distancia de la ciudad, aunque ello lo hace tranquilo así que no es que me desagrade del todo.

• David (5/5): I would not recommend this hotel - The Junior Suite offered a pleasant night view from the room, and the swimming pool area was well-maintained The air conditioning in my first room emitted a foul and persistent odor. I had to file two separate complaints at different times before they finally agreed to move me to another room—an unacceptable delay. Additionally, I requested a late check-out and was not informed that it would incur an extra charge until check-out, which reflects poor communication and lack of transparency. For the price charged, the overall service and quality are well below expectatio

• Carola (6/5): Very nice staff. But, DM needs to train the front desk for better customer service. - The view, and the first room I was assigned. I didn't like to be assigned a room and be told the next day that in 3 days I had to move to another room. All the rooms had the same type of bed, and the room I had for 3 days had a better view than the other rooms. They moved me because a boss from an important company came for 3 days for meetings in the building, and they decided to give him my room. I asume he paid the same or less since he comes all the time to the hotel, and many rooms are rented to this particular company. I don't understand why I was treated different.

• GlobalExpat (8/5): Undergoing major reconstruction, but promising - The hotel is going through a major overhaul of its facilities. You can't book online, only way to make a reservation is reachimg them by phone. They were open and clear in telling me that several areas were not available and that noise could be expected. They were kind and correct during the booking process. And the rate they are offering in the meantime for the available rooms is unbeatable in this world!!! I stayed in a large room "bungalow" with my family (4 beds). There was enough space for everyone and we had a nice view of the city. We tried the laundry service and it worked perfect, service within the day. The 4 of us connected to the room's wifi (each room has its own router) and it went well, it was fast. Breakfast room is a tempory adapted room and that is the only moment when you had to make undertand that they are temporarily disrupted as the kitchen room is temp as well. Most remarkably: Virtually zero noise from the construction works, we could sleep until late every day. The noise comes from the city, but then there's something you can't help. I would love to return to this place once works are completed (I expect towards end 2016); certainly by far it will cement its position as best hotel in town and possibly the south of Peru (Tacna-Moquegua).
• CDNTRAVELLERS2 (6/5): Average - We stayed 1 night at Hotel El Mirador on our way through to Arequipa. The staff were nice but the room was average. The room was large but so full of furniture we could barely move. It had a double bed which seemed quite small and 2 single beds, a couch, desk etc etc. To get hot water in the shower you had to leave the water running for 15 minutes. Our sliding glass door did not close all the way, although it appeared to be locked. I would describe the cleanliness of the room to be average. The Wi-Fi in the room did not work and we had to get a special code and connection from the reception which meant it did not work that well in the room. We had dinner in the restaurant that night - the food was not bad all things considering. The pisco sour was very good. Overall, it was fine for the night for what it was. Probably the best thing in town.
• mezollinger (8/5): Quiet place to stay in Moquegua - We spent three nights at the Hotel El Mirador in September. It sits up on an overlook of the city of Moquegua. It is clean and comfortable for a two star Hotel. It is probably one of the nicest places to stay here. We were here in a cooler time of year so it might be hot in the summer months. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in one of the cabanas which is a room in an outbuilding. It has a lovely private deck area. There is a nice swimming pool. The only meals we ate here were breakfast. They were adequate. Our group requested hot chocolate which they did not have but the next day they had some just for us. It was really good hot chocolate.
