The modern interior has been designed to provide comfortable holiday accommodations.. The kitchen is fully equipped with hob, oven, microwave fridge and freezer . The master bedroom has a double bed plenty of wardrobe space and a dressing table. The small second bedroom has a single bed and a single wardrobe. There is a compact shower room serving these. Sorry no dogs in this lodge.

Our studio self catering lodge offers compact open plan living with patio doors leading out onto private decking with seating area and your own hot tub. The main room in this is also the bedroom. This studio lodge sleeps 2 adults and 2 children. It has a main room consisting of a double bed ,sofa ,small table and chairs . There is a separate bedroom with twin beds. This unit only has a kitchenette consisting of a sink microwave and fridge. There is no oven or hob in this Studio lodge. This lodge is not large enough to fit a family of 5. Pets are accepted in this one room.

Our waterside bronze lodges are our oldest and most basic ,accommodations. If they were quality rated they would achieve a 2 star rating. They are not of an equivalent standard to our other lodges and the interiors are now dated but are priced accordingly. The open plan living area has a leather sofa, a 32″ tv and a small 4 seat dining table. The fully equipped kitchen includes an oven , hob, microwave and under counter fridge with freezer compartment .The patio doors lead out onto private decking with your own hot tub where you can relax and watch the abundance of wildlife on our very own pond. - Oliver (10/5): Totally stress-free - Peace and quiet, but within walking distance of a surprisingly lively Pickering. It had every facility you could want. The alpaca's could have been friendlier, instead of looking at me like I was some kind of idiot. At least one of the pigs put a bit of effort into hosting.

- Margot (10/5): Lovely weekend break - Exceptionally clean, warm and comfortable. Everything needed for a weekend break was included. Extras like washing up liquid, tea/coffee sachets, extra loo roll, hairdryer, etc all there, things you often have to take wth you. Hot tub lovely. Really enjoyed our stay, thank you 😊 Only one minor downside, the surface of the long lane to the farm was rough and potholed in places but a minor thing and par for the course these days!

- Iain (9/5): Lovely place, would stay again without a second thought. - We arrived after dark and first impressions on being shown in to the cottage was it was warm and cosy, plenty big enough for our short weekend away. The bed was comfortable and loads of space in the bedroom. The bathroom had everything you'd need and the shower had plenty of power. Hot tub was fully fired up for our arrival and very welcome after a day at work and then a few hours travelling in the rain. We couldn't fault anything, and although I don't demand perfection, there was nothing to moan about at all. Even the weather was ok for November ;)

- Rebecca (9/5): A perfect little getaway - Beautiful cosy chalet with everything you need. We were given washing up liquid and anti spray along with cloths and towels an added bonus. I did however pack these. Hot tub was just perfect for relaxing in and private enough. The surroundings are beautiful and waking up to the horses in the field was magical. You really feel at nature with this accommodation. Just what we needed. Came away feeling refreshed and relaxed. We will be returning. Not that we didn't like but my partner is 6ft 3 and didnt really fit the bed with it being framed. A shelf to put your shower essentials on would be ideal.

- Vincent (9/5): Relaxing and pleasant. - A well equipped glamping pod with everything you need for roughing it (like a large Smart tv with Disney and Netflix), set on a well maintained site with lots of animals and stuff for kids. Nothing worth mentioning.
- Amy (10/5): - This place is gorgeous, lots of peace and quiet but also fun to see the Alpacas, goats, horses etc! We stayed in a superior lodge with hot tub and everything was incredibly clean and well kept. The owners are so helpful and friendly. The beds are comfortable. Honestly, I dont have a bad word to say about our stay, we would recommend and would love to stay again! Nothing, everything is perfect!

There was SO much to do for children - allowing for great outdoor immaginative, play on the fantastic play equipment and open free play spaces. Loved the animals too! Hook needed on the outside of the door to hang it on in the wind.

- graham (10/5): Amazing, beautiful site, beautiful area, peace and quite - the farm is beautifully set out, the owners Steve and Sarah made us feel welcome and explained everything, there are animals , games barn, and plenty of open space and lovely lodges, and peace and quite, a great place to explore the local area and a great place to relax, spotlessly clean and tidy, Go and explore. Nothing, Go and see for yourself, its pretty much perfect

- ruth (8/5): - The location was very good, Lidl nearby and the pickering was fab. It was a great base for us to visit York and Whitby. It was lovely to see the animals everyday. The children’s play area was amazing and kept our 18month old entertained. Very good amenities and the hot tub was good too! We stayed in a particularly hot week so the lodge got hot throughout the day (30 degrees some days) and we had to have all the windows open once we had returned from the day. There was a fan provided in the wardrobe and we brought our own which was helpful. We stayed in the lodge which backs onto the main house, this meant that we could hear teenagers out in the garden, playing music etc. didn’t bother us too much and the windows kept a lot of sound out. Thankfully it didn’t wake up our daughter. A citronella candle could be helpful to keep the bugs away from the hot tub in the evening but it is the countryside!

- Mark (9/5): - Everything was very good 👍 the location was excellent, the room was clean, with ample parking. There was a kids play area and games area plus a choice of rooms from pods to lodges and hot tubs. Dog walking was well catered for and there was some live stock for guests to see too. The lady and gentleman who run the farm were very approachable, polite and friendly. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation. One little thing id consider changing in the room we had (the milking parlour) would probably be to replace the bath with a walk in shower. The bath did have a shower and a glass partician but if I had to be a little picky I would say older people might have a little difficulty getting in and out of the bath and grabbing onto something for stability. This is the only thing id say I would re-consider however its not really a criticism its a suggestion. Our stay was very good overall.

- Abi (10/5): - Loved the location (rural but close enough to walk or short drive to civilisation), the relaxing vibe, the lodge (11 Waterside), was so very well equipped, the views (fields, ponds, trees), the setting (beautiful, iconic English countryside), the animals (very clean and well looked after), play parks (suitable for all ages), games barn (ideal for adults and children), football pitch, stunning orchard, the wildlife (roe deer, warblers, pipits, flycatcher, buzzard, owl, waders, rabbits, dragonfly and perhaps heard a badger rummaging close to the lodge. We take regular short holidays throughout the UK, and this place is a gem. We will return very soon.

Bed was so comfy we didnt want to get out of them! Loved this place and planning on coming back very soon we'll worth the 5 hour journey each way 😀 That our few nights away had to come to a end! My daughter loved the animals, games barn (all free) and the hot tub. We highly recommend and can't thank Sarah enough for her hospitality and been so helpful. We will be staying again.
