• Mira (1/5): Bitte vermeiden, nicht sauber :( - The garden was nice and the hosts were very nice Es ist ein rintergekommener sehr alter Bungalow, mit Spinnennetzen und wirklich nicht sauber. Die Bettwäsche hatte auch Staub und stand schon länger herum. Es ist zwar günstiger als andere Unterkünfte, aber absolut nicht Wert sogar gratis dort zu übernachten. Die Hütte hat Schlitze sodass Insekte und Mosquitos darin fliegen. Es war schrecklich, wir sind am nächsten Morgen sofort ausgecheckt.

• Sabīne (9/5): Peaceful and beautiful garden, very good AC and extra helpful owner - We had a triple bed room with an AC. It was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. There are both AC and fan, their combination was very good for optimal temperature and good night sleep. The AC is silent and didn't blow very cold air straight to you, we really enjoyed it without fear getting cold. Everything was clean and we had new bottles of drinking water every day. You can rent a motoroller at the hotel, which we did every day. The price was good and our rides were smooth and enjoyable. It was great that the price is for 24 h, not for one calendar day. The rooms are in a beautiful jungle garden, with all the fauna that comes with it. The owner helped us book our long ride to Khao Sok and really took the extra mile, when we wanted to do last minute changes. She was extra helpful, so in the end we ended up travelling to Khao Sok in 5 hours for a very good price and not waiting long in transfer hub in Krabi, which would be very hard, since we're travelling with a child. Thank you again! The shower in our room was installed kind of silly - the tube is very short and right next to the toilet, so when we were showering everything got wet, toilet seat included. That was a minor thing and didn't bother us much.

Really friendly family running the place and all too happy to help with anything we needed including scooter rental, breakfast, tours etc and great communication on WhatsApp. All really great experiences thanks! Few minutes scooter down to the great main beach. Our son loved the cats too! No issues would recommend.

Sao et At ont été adorables, ils nous ont conseillé au quotidien et toujours à notre écoute. On était tristes de partir!! Si nous revenons à Kho Lanta, nous serons heureux de retourner chez eux!:-)

Le couple de gérants est très accueillant, serviable et discret. Un lieu à découvrir absolument, il y a plein de belles aventures à vivre autour du gîte. • Christophe (2/5): Grosse déception - La chambre dans un jardin très agréable et très calme .. emplacement central sur l’île très appréciable, le couple très agréable et serviable…mais Petit déjeuner, jambon œuf sur la carte, mais pas dans l’assiette, pas grave, un détail, la très désagréable surprise était pour le dernier jour, payer 400 baht par nuit pour la Clim.. plus cher que le scooter à la journée, si cela avait été précisé au départ, pas de soucis, la aucune info ne préciser ce détail à 1200 baht pour 3 nuits, bilan grosse déception, la gentillesse affichée n’était en fait que de façade..vraiment déçu…🫩

• Beata (9/5): To był wspaniały pobyt, jeżeli będę kiedyś znowu na Koh Lancie, rozważę powrót do Mady. - Lokalizacja i otoczenie domku. Mogliśmy poczuć się jakbyśmy mieszkali w dżungli. Gospodarze byli bardzo mili i pomocni. Domki są położone w centralnej części wyspy, dlatego niezbędne jest wynajęcie środka transportu. Mieliśmy możliwość wynajęcia skutera w dobrej cenie, co znacznie ułatwiło pobyt. Problemem była bardzo głośna pompa do wody, która znajdowała się zaraz za domkiem. Hałas był na tyle uciążliwy, że nie był możliwy sen bez korzystania zatyczek do uszu. Po zgłoszeniu niedogodności do gospodarza kolejnej nocy hałas dochodzący z pompy był mniejszy, jednak nadal było go słychać.

Отдельное спасибо за помощь в организации экскурсии и отъезд до Као Лака. До моря идти мин 20, это неплохо, но идти нужно по шоссе, нет ничего для пешеходов.Или вас могут подвести за 5-10 мин вы будете на пляже
• Kelly (10/5): Wenn wir in Koh Lanta sind, würden wir jederzeit wieder dieses Hotel buchen! - Wir waren von Anfang bis Ende rundum zufrieden. Die Anlage ist ein absoluter Traum und perfekt zum Entspannen, besonders wenn man auf der Terrasse sitzt. Unser Bungalow war sehr sauber und das Bett bequem. Die Gastgeber waren einfach großartig – extrem freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer für uns da. Wir konnten direkt vor Ort einen Roller mieten und der Besitzer hat uns sogar persönlich am Pier abgeholt. Wir haben uns jederzeit gut aufgehoben gefühlt und all unsere Fragen wurden immer beantwortet. Ein super nettes Ehepaar & tolle Anlage 🫶🏻

• Magdalena (1/5): Wielkie rozczarowanie, pleśń i brud - Obiekt ma bardzo ładny i zadbany ogród . Zarówno obiekt jak i właściciele bardzo nas rozczarowali . Okazało się że pokój jest nie do końca czysty i niestety jest zapleśniały. Próbowaliśmy wietrzenia ale niestety skończyło się na odwiedzinach szpitala bo dostałam wysypki i ataku astmy . Chcieliśmy zamienić domek ale nie było takiej możliwości więc postanowiliśmy zmienić hotel co nie było łatwe w okresie świątecznym, dlatego też tą rezerwację zrobiliśmy z miesięcznym wyprzedzeniem . Postawiliśmy jednak na zdrowie i zrezygnowaliśmy z kontynuacji pobytu co okazało się początkiem batalii bo nagle właścicielka nie była już taka “miła” a wręcz zrobiła się agresywna, wygoniła nas bez pieniędzy . A skasowała 17600 THB. Zgłosiliśmy całą sytuację do bookingu i czekaliśmy na ich interwencje, co nie zmienia faktu że zostaliśmy be noclegu, kasy i z wysypką. Dzień później dostaliśmy odpowiedź że ta sytuacja jest nieakceptowalna i przysługuje nam zwrot . Właścicielka dalej nie odpisuje i nie wykazuje chęci współpracy więc postanowiliśmy pójść na policję . Okazało się że jest Policja Turystyczna na miejscu i funkcjonariusz pomógł nam odzyskać część pieniędzy bo na resztę się nie zgodziła . Według bookingu należy nam się pełen zwrot bo tak jak napisałam warunki były nie do mieszkania . Jak wróciliśmy po pieniądze z komisariatu to właścicielki nie było a jej mąż zaczął nam grozić słowami “ uważajcie bo jeszcze Was się coś stanie” Mamy nagrania z każdej tych sytuacji dla uwiarygodnienia . Nie wiem czy tu przejdą ale booking wszystko ma. Może tak trafiliśmy z tym domkiem co nie zmienia faktu że właściciele zachowali się nie na miejscu i zrujnowali nam początek urlopu i dodali atrakcji których na urlopie nikt nie oczekuje . Mimo wszystko dziękujemy za lekcje i zaczniemy od czytania i weryfikowania tych negatywnych opinii a nie na kierunkowaniu się średnią ocen.

Если вам нужен домик с к - Домик аутентичный, мне очень нравилось проводить время на террасе, днем там тенек и можно полежать в гамаке. Расположение достаточно удобное, мы арендовали скутер и катались по всем южным пляжам, бухтам, ездили в Национальный парк и старый город. Все было супер!

• Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional - We loved staying here for our week on Koh Lanta. The hosts are so wonderful and friendly. The location is central to the island, but walkable to the beach. The rooms are as advertised: clean and spacious. The property overall is very beautiful and quiet, which made it a wonderful place to relax after fun days of activities. The hosts provide motorbikes for rent, but we didn’t feel safe on them, as it was our first time. Our hosts provided taxi services in their personal vehicle each morning to our diving school on the north side of the island. We were also able to book a lovely excursion through our host. There were many cats on the property that were very adorable and friendly. I would absolutely recommend this to travelers looking for a quiet and comfortable spot on Lanta.

• Roosa (1/5): Bad - The staff, however, was friendly. I booked a five-night stay at place Mada Lanta Mai Keaw. However, the room did not match the photos uploaded on Booking.com, and for example, the promised air conditioning unit was not in the room. In addition, on the first night, I woke up to a cockroach bite and eventually found two cockroaches in my room during the night. The ceiling was also leaking water onto my bed, so unfortunately, I don’t have anything positive to say about the accommodation.
• Darren (10/5): Perfect jungle retreat - The owners are some of the nicest people I have met in Thailand , I felt truly welcomed. Villa bungalows are really nice in and out , Beautiful jungle gardens and very quiet in the evenings. ( no cockerels or dogs on site ) Great WiFi with ice cold AC. My stay was perfect , I highly recommend this hotel.

The hosts of the resort were extremely caring, always ready to help and assist. The bungalow itself is well equipped, clean and cozy. • Nina (9/5): Superb - Various types of bungalows are nestled in a beautiful, lush and well maintained garden, where friendly cats roam. The owners are nice and welcoming, attentive and helpful. We stayed for a week in a spaceous wooden bungalow with a lovely porch and a hammock, perfect for relaxing. The on-site restaurant serves a delicious breakfast with plenty of options. We really enjoyed our time at Mada Lanta and did not miss anything.
• Giselle (10/5): Quiet, Idyllic and just perfect! - Perfectly placed just a couple of minutes on a scooter from arguably the best beach on Lanta. The accommodation is spotless and serviced daily to ensure that is maintained. The owners are kind, dedicated and ready to assist with any request with excellent English. The rooms are new, spacious and with on demand hot water - perfect after a day at the beach. The food in the in house restaurant is delicious but so fairly priced to make it irresistible. Definitely highly recommended and our favourite so far in all of Vietnam and Thailand. Nothing comes to mind.

• Nigel (3/5): Poor - Good size room quite well furnished although strange style materials and clothes storage consisted of a freestanding clothes rail and two very small drawers. Horrible aggressive disgusting owners that physically attacked me. I fell ill after arriving and in my room for 3 days, room was cleaned once. On returning on day 4 I was disappointed my room was not cleaned. No towel change several days. No clean room please signs here. The owners not around and I was soon out again for the evening. The next day I leave and mention this with some other issues and suggest to reduce the large bill by just B200 when the owners start shouting loudly at me in front of other guests, grab my luggage, try to grab my passport then grab my chest around my nipple and pinch heavily. After arguing and talk of police and stopping me from getting in my taxi I reluctantly paid them.They helped me when I was ill dropping me off at local clinic and 1 banana to my room. No excuse for disgusting behaviour.

The musli with yogurt and fresh fruit for breakfast was excellent. Laundry service. It’s very convenient if you have a motorbike. Very quiet place.

The place has a relaxed and cozy atmosphere, making it easy to feel at home. The rooms were simple but comfortable, and we slept really well. The surroundings were peaceful and idyllic—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the island. One of the highlights of our stay was the laundry service—it was the best we’ve ever had! Our clothes came back perfectly clean, fresh, and well-folded, which made our trip even more enjoyable. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even better. We genuinely enjoyed our time here and would definitely consider coming back!

Needs some maintenance. - Quiet location, beautiful garden, comfortable bed, friendly and helpful host, with a restaurant, rent out scooters, offer tours, offer transfer to airport, daily cleaning service and water. - Check in was scheduled from 12 noon until 1 pm, but i could only move in at 3:15 pm - Tried to give me a room of lesser value, not a bungalow as i booked and paid for - Bed linen had stains and were yellowish discolored; I requested new ones, but they were again worn out; eventhough it looked dirty, it smelled fresh and they promised that they had just washed it; after a couple of days i could get white ones - Lots of ants, i needed to spray chemicals many times and put a towl in front of the door and stuff other gaps at the door with socks, also that no mosquitos could enter, because the gaps were big - fridge was smelly, with old melted ice inside - loud aircon
• Evgenij (1/5): Only if there are no more rooms on the island - There are a lot of holes in the house through which insects can easily pass. You can hear the noise of the road and all the neighbors as if there are no walls. The fan, even at first speed, runs very fast and is almost as loud as a helicopter, blows directly into the face from the ceiling and is not adjustable, it is impossible to use, and without a fan it is very hot and there are a lot of mosquitoes. A hard bed and an uncomfortable pillow. The shower flows almost 90 degrees at the door, instead of making the necessary slope, they put a curtain on the door. The hostess communicates in a very unpleasant manner. Dirty old room, unfriendly woman owner thinking about money only
• Ana (6/5): Pleasant - The staff is ok, they provide you with all info you might need. Food is not that great, however around the corner there is a local restaurant with amazing food and local prices too - highly recommend! Unfortunately, my stay was somewhat marred by a few issues. The bed sheets were stained, and the overall cleanliness of the room left something to be desired. Furthermore, the required guest registration (TM30) was not properly handled. This simple 2-minute process took an unacceptable 4 hours to complete. Thankfully, the police officers intervened after numerous calls (using both my phone and theirs) as the owner initially refused to answer. They were able to guide the owner through the necessary steps for guest registration. This TM30 is necessary for the visa extension! Overall stay - ok ish....

They are super helpful with whatever you need! Everything was great but would recommend getting an aircon room if you come during humid season.

You can rent motorbike there, and there is a restaurant with nice food and cheap price. The owners are so nice and friendly, and they will help you with anything if you need to book a trip to islands or to another place. Recommend 100%
• Daniel (9/5): Superb - A nice, reclusive place that gives one the chance to rest in a beautiful jungle sort of environment, with friendly and helpful staff. I can only recommend if you want a quite retreat for rest.
• Miró (10/5): A cosy bungalow to relax - The owners are lovely. They treat you like they would a friend or family. They helped us with renting scooters for a good price, and booking an island tour. Being a bit further off the main road, you hear less traffic. Everything is still easy to reach with a scooter. Sadly while we were there the restaurant wasn't open yet. But, if you go a bit further down the road there was a small restaurant ran by a very kind lady with delicious food. I think it was called "Janooch". There were some bugs like ants or cockroaches. Can't really blame the stay for this though, you are staying in a chalet surrounded by nature after all.
• David (9/5): Really enjoyable, made to feel welcome. Lovely beautifully kept grounds. We were in room number six. I think it was one - Everything was perfect. Lovely clean spacious room. Family run and they were so lovely, couldn’t do enough for you. Able to hire motorbike from the property. They also have a taxi. The only thing was that their restaurant wasn’t ready to open till the week after we left. Wasn’t a big problem as only a short walk to nearest place for breakfast.

• Jim (10/5): Incredible gem of a stay! - The man hosting us was absolutely lovely and treated us very well. He offered us everything we needed for our stay as well as 24/7 assistance if we need anything! The room was very cosy and for the price it was amazing! Directly opposite a very sweet elephant sanctuary with 4 beautiful elephants! There were a fair few bugs in the room in some areas. However, it's a jungle environment, so to be expected!
• Linnea (10/5): Exceptional - We spent a month here and it was wonderful. Sao and Had were incredibly kind and welcoming and we felt very at home. The bungalow was great, clean and comfortable with good beds, as well as very sound proof (we had one with air con). I would recommend Mada Lanta to everyone, it's quiet, friendly and relaxing, and only 5 minutes to the beach with motorbike/tuk tuk.

I knew before, so not a real problem: You need to rent a scooter, if you want to see something from Koh Lantas beaches. But this is possible to rent a scooter at the resort.

• John (9/5): Loved it and will definitely be back. Hosts were brilliant. - Brilliant location, a short scooter ride to the beach front and great food venues. Sau and Haad were very accommodating and went out of their way to help with anything. Room was fine, bed was comfortable with a chill out hammock on the front porch. Fridge was big and ice cold. No TV, which is perfect. Loved this place. Air con not brilliant in our room but also had a fan so coped with that.

• Janet (7/5): Basic but worth what we paid but extra cleaning needed. - Location was good if you have a scooter or other transport. The accommodation was in a quiet district so far enough away from the town. The bungalow was ok and was worth what we paid. Across our 5 night stay, there was no cleaning of the room, no fresh water provided and no change of towels etc. We also had to ask for new toilet rolls which shouldn’t really be necessary. We didn’t have food in the room and we still had a lot of ants in the bathroom. The shower plug also needs to be cleaned as it was blocked.

• Ruby (10/5): Perfect Stay - Me and my boyfriend stayed here last month and it was our favourite accommodation in SEA over our 5 month trip! The cabins are super cute and cosy. We didn't have an AC room but the fan did the job. The owners are some of the kindest we have met , they cool delicious affordable food and can arrange anything you need on site from bikes to ferries or day trips. We will hopefully be back soon. • Paul (10/5): Nice quiet accommodation with lovely owners - The owners were amazing, friendly, helpfull and funny. Restaurant was very handy as it was a little bit out of the way. Motor bike rental, and they will book ongoing travel for you. The place was quiet and out of the way but only a short bike ride or 20 min walk to the beach. I booked three nights and ended up staying a week Nothing that you wouldn't expect for the price or location
• Marni (10/5): 10/10 would recommend if staying on Lanta!! - We ended up extending our stay because we loved this bungalow in Koh Lanta so much! Perfect spot with a jungle feel and very close drive to the best beaches on the island. Sau and Haad who own and run this property are truly the kindest people and made our stay so special. They are incredibly welcoming and helpful we were able to hire scooters, dine, wash laundry, book ferries and island tours here at ease. We got a bunch of local recommendations too. Do yourself a favour and order the fluffy banana pancakes for breakfast - the best!!! As for the rooms, very modern, clean, comfortable beds and very spacious with a lovely patio to relax on. Great spot! Thank you again Sau and Haad, we will be back to stay and see you again in Lanta!!

I loved it! - Very nice quiet place in the jungle with lovely staff and nice rooms :) I had good talks with the owners and they did everything to help me. Transport, food and other. If you want a nice quiet place away from the crowd, this is the place. I had a fridge, ac and fan in the room. There was also a kettle and some coffee. Food is great and i felt very welcome. Will definitly stay there again. I recommend to have a scooter but they will help you to get one once you are there. Nothing

The gardens are beautiful and I loved my lil bungalow! And the 3 cats. Mada Lanta I have fond memories that I will take with me, thank you for the smiles! I actually don't think there was anything I didn't like, because actually it's very good value for money I've stayed in places that were terrible for the same amount of money. It's cheap and cheerful and budget friendly with jungle noises. Truly wonderful

• Laura (10/5): Exceptional - We rented the wooden bungalow with ventilator and it was perfect. The best bungalow we had in Thailand - nicely done, great, comfortable beds, big towels, all very clean and the bathroom was like new. The terasse with hamac is also great for chilling anytime. The owners are really lovely people and we felt like part of the family. They arranged all from transport, laundry to daily trips and always for lowest prices possible.The kids were so happy there and we would.definitely return! First we were bit afraid of the distance to the beach but we realized that it is an advantage as you do not have the noise from bars and you get shadow all day and nature around and you wakr up with birds singing. And compared to other rentings, this one is far from the main street and having lot of space and in a nice surrounding. If you don't have moto/car then they can drive you with tuctuc for little and finally when walking once in the evening it took us 20mins to the beach. All was perfect
• Ya (9/5): Amazing stay in the nature - The place was well located, in the middle of the nature and during the night was really quite. The owners were really kind and helpful. They also rent scooters for a cheap price. I will definitely come back again.
• Elizabeth (7/5): Isolated, but a whole house for oneself - One live with the nature outside the door. The garden has around 8 small houses/bungalows and is filled with trees. It is nice to have a place to sit outside ones own house. The owners are always close by. They speak good english but understand a bit less of it. Use a smart phone translator. There is a shop around the corner where one can buy simple drinks like water bottle, carb-snacks and stuff like washing up soap. The place is not too expensive though. Maybe it is worth the distance to have a whole house by oneself(?). The place is isolated unless having a vihecle or renting a motorbike from the owners (which demand experience, but insurance is not valid in case of accident unless one also have a motorbike driving licence). They also have Tuk Tuk to drive you. If walking one need to expect 30-45 minutes under a clear blue sky before reaching civilisation, restaurants and the beach. A trip back and forth, and you will lay exhausted in bed for several hours. The photos of the house booking options are not in the correct places.
