Maurizio the owner was very attentive and answered all questions and gave many tips for a great visit! The breakfast was wonderful, cakes, cheese, meats and yogurts, as well as great coffee and a very special shortbread cookie! The outside balcony was a joy to sit on and watch the neighborhood and listen to the birds. I loved everything!

• Matt (10/5): A gem in the heart of Siena - Fonte Gaia Experience is exceptional. Not only is it perfectly located, the property is nicely decorated, clean and includes a wonderful breakfast. But what makes Fonte Gaia, truly special is the owner, Maurizio. His kind hospitality and attentiveness made our trip to Siena wonderful.
• Connie (10/5): - The location in the wonderful, charming city of Siena is perfect. It is off the busy streets and piazzas yet so close to all of the places you want to be. The facility is modern, pretty new, and beautifully decorated. It is a small place with only 2 rooms offering much privacy. We had a small balcony off our room over a quiet back yard which made for some delightful breakfasts and afternoon glasses of wine. There was very little I didn't like. After the first day or so we were very used to the uphill trudges to the places we wanted to see, especially with consideration of the downhill jaunts we were able to make back to our room at the end of the day.

All pillows on the bed need to be taking care, they were smelly, the pillows protectors were covered with big yellow stains, clearly they don’t get washed or changed every time a new guest moves in.

L’accoglienza e la disponibilità del proprietario Maurizio sono preziosissime, non ci ha fatto mancare nulla e ci ha facilitato l’arrivo alla struttura fornendoci un pass per la ZTL per poter scaricare i bagagli all’arrivo, prima di lasciare la macchina al parcheggio a prezzo convenzionato. Il giorno del check out è stato ugualmente disponibile per darci il tempo di visitare la città lasciando i bagagli al bnb. La torta fatta in casa e i tradizionali cantucci che ci hanno fatto trovare subito al nostro arrivo hanno reso il tutto ancora più speciale e accogliente. Esperienza ottima.

He explained all the facilities in great detail and even provided clear videos showing how to reach the apartment and where to park nearby, which was very helpful for us as we were traveling by car. We also truly appreciated that the host helped us register our car for the ZTL (restricted traffic zone) access permit. This made our arrival and stay much easier and stress-free. Highly recommended, and thank you again for your great hospitality!

And in a great location offering a quiet retreat just a few minutes from the Piazza del Campo. • Jason (10/5): Absolutely perfect stay in the heart of Siena! Beautiful hosts! - What a beautiful apartment right near the heart of Siena. We only were there one night and would have loved to have stayed longer as we are in Siena for 5 nights but we needed access to a full/private kitchen. The apartment is meticulously clean, modern and updated. This is the place where you are more than happy to stay at the apartment because it's so relaxing. Check in was fantastic, communication was top notch and all in all, this is a perfect apartment to stay at in Siena. Can't say enough great things.....just stay and enjoy!!! Nothing, it was perfect!!!!
• Clarmizuki (9/5): Pleasant house and host 😊 - I like the warm welcome of the host. He was very friendly and accomodating to our family even though we checked in quite late at night. The room is also pleasant and clean. Breakfast (cakes) was homemade and tasted good! Siena is a town with a number of steep slopes. Hence, this accomodation is situated on top of an upslope. We require some stamina to reach the house. The floor is made out of wood planks so they are quite absorbant. Need to be careful of using too much water while showering. All in all, a great stay!

Host gentilissimo, sempre disponibile per qualunque cosa; molto preciso nelle indicazioni su come arrivare alla struttura che essendo in zona ZTL potrebbe creare non pochi problemi ed invece, grazie a lui, diventa semplicisissimo.

The fridge was stocked with meat cheese yoghurt and juice and to top it off a fresh tart or cake provided each day that was accompanied by perfect coffee. Beds were extremely comfortable and city centre was literally walking distance. Perfect location, perfect apartment and amazing host.

Maurizio was a wonderful host who gave us useful information about how to use the apartment, but where to go in the city. He even created his own map. The little balcony was a wonderful gem as well. We weren't quite sure of the shared kitchen concept until another pair of travelers turned up. We though we might have the place to ourselves. Siena is built on a hill. Be prepared the walk steep inclines and many stairs.

A few steps down to the escalator to reach the cathedral, a short walk up the street to the main Piezza and the rear of the town. Everything is close by. Bed was comfortable, room had what we needed. 3 steps up to the bathroom, and three steps up to the shared kitchen and dining area. It was shared, but we didn’t see anyone else while we were there. Maurizio was a great host providing all the information we needed for our visit. Rated lower because of the festival The BIG negative was when we were there, down the street they held a neighborhood award for winning the horse race in July which was two nights of loud music from 10-2am. It was a private event, and made it impossible to sleep. Very unfortunate timing on our part.

• Jose (10/5): Comfortable room, impeccably hosted, just outside the main square. - The apartment is very well located, just a two minute walk to the main square. Maurizio is an absolute pleasure to meet and an extremely attentive host.

It began with booking (easy), followed by the most helpful Whats App communication around finding the property. When we arrive the family were so excited by the surprises that were one after the other. The place is in the heart of Siena, the apartment has well functioning AC, gorgeous rooms, amazing foods, treats and coffee machine. Amazing place. The host is incredible.
