• Fiona (9/5): Quaint little place in Gili Air with friendly staff - Cute and quaint stay in Gili Air. Such friendly staff (and very cute cats) made our stay really great! In a good location, walkable from the port and other side of the island too. The room was spacious, clean and great aircon and a comfy bed. Breakfast was yum, made to order and staff were happy to help with anything needed. Free refillable water station was a great touch. We only stayed for one night but would’ve happily stayed for more! Nothing, it was just as described :)

The breakfast is fresh and delicious, homemade with fresh ingredients every day. The 3 guys managing the place are super nice, friendly, chatty and available the whole time for anything you need. In the property you'll find also 3 amazing cats, super funny which are playing together all the time 😄 We had an amazing stay at Casa Blanca, don't miss it Nothing

Our aircon didn’t work as soon as we arrived, we were told by staff that the maintenance man was coming to check but he never arrived over our 3n stay. We had to ask for a fan, were not offered. Shower pressure was fine but could be improved.

Świetna obsługa, dostaliśmy powitalnego drinka, wypożyczyliśmy u nich sprzęt do snoreklingu, byli bardzo mili, a rano przyrządzili smaczne śniadanko.

The bikes we rented broke and weren’t the best quality but the staff replaced them and didn’t charge us for damage and were kind and helpful about the situation so not really a complaint :)

Internet funciona relativamente bem. Serviço excecional e boa localização. Nada a apontar!

Would definitely come back! WiFi not very stable, especially if you do remote work. But I guess that's a general problem around the island.

• Angell (10/5): Lovely little guesthouse that is beautifully set up and with truely kind and caring staff . - After a few days in Kuta, the guesthouse was such a breath of fresh air - breakfast was simple and just right. The wonderful host asks what you'd like and then cooks it fresh and in front of you, fresh juices, eggs, pancakes or toast - this was just what I wanted and was really welcome. One hot meal, a fresh juice and a hot beverage and all made on request- perfect. My room was charming, the staff were just super helpful and kind, and the owners have put a lot of effort into making a beautiful, natural tropical paradise setting. I appreciated the extra features like the additional drying racks, shelf space, quality toiletries and the care the staff showed to everyone. I was surprised to note the lack of full roof over the ensuite, as during the day it was not comfortable to take a shower in the sunlight, as much as it was nice in the evening. The wifi wasn't very reliable, but I feel like this was something I was experiencing everywhere on the island, which was not limited to this hotel. The guesthouse was a bit further than I'd realised from the ocean itself, but it was an easy walk. The aircon in my room wasn't very powerful, which I did struggle with as I'm not from a tropical, humid climate at home, but my son's air conditioning seemed to be better.

• Robert (6/5): Could be great but isn’t. - Centrally located which made getting around the island easy. Jul (front desk, cook, manager) was amazing and super fun to interact with. He tried really to make everyone feel welcome. Property is in serious disrepair. A good cleaning and some paint would do wonders, but currently it’s gross. We were in #3 and the AC worked sometimes, the water in the shower doesn’t reach the tiles where you’re supposed to stand so your choices are stand on the green slime covered rocks or don’t get wet. The sheets and towels really should be replaced and the curtains were falling off the rod. Also, what was that dried substance on our floor by the bed? Nasty. I felt like I was back in my 20s and staying at some low cost hostel. We’re coming back to Gili A in a month but it’s a hard pass on this place.
• Maxime (9/5): Un super hôtel sur Gili Air - L’emplacement de l’hôtel est idéal, on va en 15 minutes à pied partout sur l’île. Les logements sont très propres, les hôtes sont vraiment super, très gentil au petit soin et n’hésite pas à discuter ! Ce qui est très agréable. Le lieu est très calme, il n’y a aucun bruit le soir. Les petits déjeuner sont très bon et copieux avec un jus, une boisson chaude et une assiette bien garnie à choisir. Le petit plus, Scramble leur petit chat mascotte de Casa Blanca ! Rien, tout était très bien.
• Anastasia (10/5): - Nette, zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter. Geben sich große Mühe auf die Wünsche des Urlaubers einzugehen. Man kann sich Fahrräder und Schnorchelausrüstung mieten. Die Entfernung zur Moschee war angemessen, sodass man Nachts nicht geweckt wurde. Mochte, dass die Anlage sehr klein war (glaube, nur 4 Häuser stehen dort zur Miete). Hatte was gemütliches, heimisches. Man konnte das Wasser in der Küche rund um die Uhr auffüllen. Hotel war (quasi) auf der Hauptstraße, fand ich auch gut! Fand die Ausstattung im Zimmer etwas sperrlich z.b. die ganz kleine Ablage vor dem Spiegel. Persönlich für mich etwas befremdlich, dass das Bad kein Dach hat. Hatte manchmal nachts etwas Angst alleine als Frau, dass jemand rüberklettert und dann versucht durch die halbgläserne Tür reinzukommen. Aber wahrscheinlich habe ich nur zu viele Horrorfilme geschaut.

Each morning a fresh breakfast was made and served by the staff, we could choose from a few options, but banana pancakes were our favourite! The staff is extremely friendly and helped us transfer to Lombok. Nothing, we enjoyed our stay at this place :)

• Simon (8/5): - We stayed here for 3 nights, The rooms are basic but very clean and have outdoor bathrooms which are nice. The staff Adi and Masuan were brilliant, funny and fantastic chefs, they did a great breakfast for each guest and they’re around to help or ask for advice etc. For the price the rooms are great. Our ac wasn’t working one night and they moved us to another room and got the ac technician to come and check it out which was great to see. You can hire bikes, the place is a 10 min walk to east or west beaches and about 15 mins to the main town part near the harbour. Very relaxed and chilled place with fantastic staff.

Saves having to have the cash every day and would make it feel a bit more relaxed. No coffee/ tea in the room as listed We had shack .1 which is next to the breakfast area so a little noisy if you want to lay in

I got the room that was facing the garden. That was really nice. I liked that there was a faucet right outside the patio to wash our feet and shoes - thought that was really important since Gili is an island paradise with lots of sand. The room was clean and comfy and hence really value for money. There were marts just a few steps away from the property. However to get around it was easier by bicycle or e-scooter. Would have preferred it if there was more closet or desk space. The location was a 10-15 min walk away from the ferry terminal. The bathroom was an outdoor concept - so if it rained you will be showering with the rain water or if you are doing your business you will get a bit wet - also more opportunities for insects.

• Frederic (7/5): A challenging first night, but friendly and helpful staff, and eventually a good stay overall - The place was functional, the staff friendly and helpful This can happen to any place, but the first night one of our rooms Air conditioning was not working, and it was hot this first night (We notified it in the afternoon). Without any fan nor proper ventilation, it was very hot in the room. We had to sleep at 5 in one bedroom which had an air conditioning working. However the staff found a solution for the second night and moved us to another room which was working perfectly. We understand that this kind of problems can happen, but from a personal experience, it was not the best for this first night. However, the rest of our stay was good. i would also add that the place look smaller than on the pictures and not as well maintained. (it s not in bad condition though, but a few touch up, here and there would be great).

Man fühlt sich auf Anhieb wohl und willkommen. „A home away from home.“ Das Personal (Adi und Wan) ist sehr hilfsbereit, freundlich und hat gute Tipps. Ich wäre sehr gerne noch 1 Woche länger geblieben. Leider war diese schöne Unterkunft aber schon ausgebucht. Das Fahrrad, welches ich von der Unterkunft gemietet habe war einwandfrei.

• Erika (9/5): Ottima posizione in un alloggio carino per godersi Gili Air - Le casette sono carinissime, la posizione è ottima, vicino alla spiaggia delle tartarughe, vicino ai centri yoga e sulla strada che porta ai negozietti e ristoranti. È carino anche sorseggiare un succo sul portico. Rifanno la stanza e cambiano gli asciugamani ogni volta che lo chiedi. Ho avuto la Bali belly e il personale è stato gentile nel prepararmi del ginger tea a qualsiasi ora e farmi colazione con pane e banana. Offrono anche trasferimenti dall'isola il che è molto comodo. La colazione è sempre a base di uova, non c'è yogurt. Il piatto di frutta non è compreso come in tutte le altre strutture in cui ho alloggiato a Bali e a Lombok. Un ragazzo dello staff non parlava inglese e, quando ho avuto un momento di difficoltà mentre stavo male, ho dovuto arrangiarmi. La moschea si sente ma non a volumi esagerati.

• Tribelhorn (10/5): Heaven of peace - I spent almost a month at the Casablanca. The guys are extremely kind and helpful. The rooms and the entire complex are very, very clean. Doors close tightly and no insects penetrate (not a given here on the island). You only hear the call to prayer from a distance. The garden is lovingly maintained, and you feel like you're in a little jungle paradise - and the best restaurant on the island is just around the corner. The Casablanca is located on a main road yet is still a haven of peace. The five aesthetic cottages are within convenient walking distance: 12 minutes to sunrise, 20 minutes to sunset, and 15 minutes to the harbor. You can pull your suitcase; the road is good (no need for a suffering horse). I can definitely recommend staying at Casablanca. I've seen several accommodations during my time here. Casablanca is among the very best on the island. The value for money is unbeatable. All marvelous and lovely
• Leah (7/5): Nice staff but place needs updating - The bed was pretty comfortable, the garden and the vibe there was pleasant, the staff was very nice, the location was good right in the middle of the island, breakfast was good with lots of fruit. The room was pretty well sealed. This place needs major renovation and updating. The furniture was worn, several things need to be updated and refreshed such as repainting big stains on the wall, brown looking furniture, updating bathroom and shower which has rusty bits. The shower is covered in these stones which is obviously very hard to clean and there is green moss growing on them as well as various insects such as worms and ants living in the rocky area of the shower. I tried to spend the least time possible in the bathroom. Given the rating, I expected more. However I don't blame the staff for this, rather the owners need to invest in updating the place. It's a pity because it has lots of potential but you can see there needs to be investments to keep it good.

Das Personal war freundlich und das Frühstück richtig lecker. Wir wurden mit einem welcome drink begrüßt, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Das Zimmer und das Bad war sauber und es war super ruhig. Wir haben keine Nachbarn gehört und auch nichts von der Moschee mitbekommen, was in vielen Hotels in Gili Air angemerkt wurde. Die Klimaanlage hat super funktioniert. Schnorchelequipment konnte man preiswert ausleihen und die Lage war für uns perfekt, da man die ganze Insel von hier erkunden konnte. Wir können es uneingeschränkt empfehlen. WLAN war zwar recht stabil, aber nicht das schnellste.
• Jenny (9/5): Emplacement et chambre agréable - L’emplacement était parfait, la chambre agréable et grande. On entend beaucoup les voisins. Les draps devaient être propre mais ils dégageaient une odeur vraiment horrible. Ça m’en a même réveillé la nuit. Ils ont peut être dû sécher près d’un feu ou je ne sais quoi. Mais ce n’était vraiment pas agréable de dormir dans ces draps.

• Megan (8/5): Lovely staff made my stay very welcoming, helping with providing a laundry service. Bed was comfy and clean, bathroom ni - Clean, friendly staff and in good walking distance to everything. The water pressure in the showers wasn’t great (staff where trying to fix this though)
• Gabin (10/5): Juste superbe - Que dire ? Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans ce superbe établissement, très propre, confortable, et proche des restaurants, plage et petits magasins. Jul et ses collègues sont juste géniaux, toujours au petit soin si vous avez la moindre question. Le petit déjeuner préparé par eux tous les matins est super bon, et nous avons du choix. Nous avons décidé de louer des vélos pour 2 jours, 2 vélos au prix de 200k, ça a été très pratique et surtout très rapide pour les louer. Mention spécial également pour la laundry, nous avons déposé notre linge le matin et le soir il était tout prêt, propre et super bien plié. Nous vous recommandons grandement ce logement, et nous vous remercions encore pour ce superbe séjour que vous nous avez fait passer au sein de votre établissement. • Olesia (10/5): Не хватает фруктовой тарелки как добавки к завтраку (блинчикам или яйцам в разным вариантах). Фруктовая тарелка есть в м - Чисто в номере, если нужна уборка, то можно выходя из номера повесить на двери табличку. Завтрак с небольшими, но вкусными порциями. Банановые блинчики очень понравились. В номере наряду с гелем для душа и шампунем, есть хороший бальзам для волос. Это было очень приятно. До берега океана, пригодного для купания достаточно близко. Однако лучше арендовать велосипед, такая возможность есть в отеле. Доброжелательный персонал. Всегда готовы помочь. Есть возможность готовить самостоятельно, есть возможность пользоваться общим холодильником. Мебель немного покрыла свой внешний вид, хотя на проживание это практически не влияет, тем более за такую демократичную цену проживания в номере.

• Jennifer (10/5): Loved it so much we extended our stay - We loved staying at Casa blanca so much we extended our stay! The staff are so friendly and lovely, they were always available to give information and help. The breakfast was delicious and it was great to be able to refill our water bottles. We loved the design of the room and the outdoor shower too. The location is also great, 10 mins from the pier and easy to walk to other parts of the island too (15 min through the middle). We also loved Scramble!
