• Volkmar (9/5): - Das Häuschen bot für 2 Personen ausreichend Platz .Der Balkon war groß und schützte vor fremden Blicken.Nadya,war sehr freundlich und hat sich um uns gekümmert,danke dafür. Im Haus gab es die Matratze die einem Folterinstrument nahe kam . Die angrenzende Straße ist am Tage sehr laut und stark befahren .Nachts ruhig .

Dostępne naczynia, Salon z częścią wypoczynkową, duży taras, przestronna sypialnia z łazienką . W sypialni klimatyzacja. Przesympatyczni i gościnni właściciele. • Fabrizio (2/5): Oltre la natura null’altro - La struttura ha de gran potenziale ma è mal tenuta. Molto bello il contesto nella natura anche se poi si trova proprio sulla strada principale, un bel po’ rumorosa Mobilio vecchio, stoviglie e pento lame non utilizzabile, sporco e molto vetusto. Pavimento traballante e spesso con piastrelle rialzate su cui potevi farti male.

Everything is provided to feel like at home, the balcony is wonderful & Anne Lise and her husband welcomed us very warmly. We also liked that the place is very private, the property rents 2 houses for guests and the location could not be better, you can find all you need close by. Thanks for all❤️

• Ilona (10/5): - Eine traumhaft schöne Unterkunft mitten in der Natur 🏞 mit Flughunde und 🦎 Vögel die singen Dschungel feeling und trotzdem zentral. Ich habe mich total wohl gefühlt. Check in ohne Probleme viele Informationen beim Check in .Wasser Anlage vor Ort total schönes Appartement. Die Terrasse ein absoluter Traum mit Blick in den Dschungel. Die Terrasse ist riesig groß mit wunderschönen Möbeln. Für mich 10 Sterne 🤩 🚍 Haltestelle Bor der Tür. Umgebung super Schön. Die Fotos geben es genau so wider ein echter Traum.

• Aina (10/5): Villa en un entorno espectacular - Nos gustó todo. Ubicado en mitad de la naturaleza. Estuvimos muy tranquilos en la villa. Casita perfectamente equipada con todo lo necesario para pasar unos días. Familia muy amable y servicial. Muy atentos en todo momento. Nos facilitaron una barbacoa portátil. Pasamos la Nochebuena ahí y Anne Lise, la propietaria tuvo el detalle de dejarnos unos regalitos de Navidad. Nos gustó todo la verdad, lo único malo la cama que era muy blanda y nos gusta el colchón más duro. Pero nada más, un 10 de lugar!!!!!

• Maria (10/5): Sehr schön! :) - Das Hillside Retreat liegt mitten im Grünen – ein echtes Dschungelerlebnis. Die Geräuschkulisse aus Vogelrufen und Blätterrauschen hat für eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre gesorgt. Unser Haus war bestens ausgestattet, sehr sauber und mit allem versehen, was man braucht. Man fühlte sich sofort wohl. Auch die Gastgeberin war ausgesprochen freundlich, der Empfang herzlich, die Kommunikation unkompliziert und vertrauensvoll. Insgesamt ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt inmitten der Natur, den wir sofort wiederholen würden. Das Bett war leider etwas unbequem. Der Verkehr auf der nahegelegenen Straße war auf der Terrasse deutlich zu hören.

• Ioana (9/5): Nice cottage with jungle sourrounding - The cottage looks very nice and the view is nice from the terrace and from the bedroom. Is very big for a couple and we had everything that we needed. Very close to some good take aways and stores and to the most beautiful beaches from the island: Intendance, Soleil and Takamaka. The host is very friendly and so helpful There are moments during the night when you can hear the cars on the street because the cottage is not so deep inside the jungle. Although the kitchen is very much equipped, maybe it should have been more tea cups or some oil for cooking or a better coffee

• Clive (8/5): - Hillside Retreat is well positioned with a good range of amenities. It was quiet place to stay when we we there. Having a washing machine with an eco short cycle was great. The parking area is very small and tight to turn around in, fortunately while we there the second cabin didn't utilize the space, but it would be a negotiation to be able to turn around if it was. The main issue we had was that someone downstairs in the owners property smoked and this came up onto the the balcony, we had to move inside on a couple of occasions and couldn't enjoy the deck which is a feature of the property.
• audrey (10/5): - L emplacement en mode forêt est absolument magnifique Le logement est hyper spacieux, tres confortable, tres propre. Vous trouverez tout ce dont vous avez besoin meme l eau est a votre disposition. Belle terrasse d où vous entendrez le chant des oiseaux le matin et présence de ces trop belles chauves souris c est magique ! La propriétaire est adorable, elle vous accueille avec un jus de fruits frais et elle vous donne de bons conseils pour les visites. Alors oui il y a la route en contrebas mais qui ne dérange en rien car une fois la baie vitrée fermée on n entend plus rien ensuite oui il faut 1 voiture pour se rendre à la plage mais quand on réserve un logement c est ce qu on regarde en 1er lieux , l emplacement... et une merveilleuse plage se trouve a 7 min en voiture donc l emplacement pour moi est idéal ! Juste 1 petit conseil pour les futurs voyageurs, si vous avez de la nourriture comme des biscuits fermez bien le paquet et placez le dans un sac hermétique... vous etes en forêt n oubliez pas lol Absolument rien

• Dominique (10/5): Wunderschön mitten in der Natur - Eine tolle Unterkunft mit einer super netten und hilfsbereiten Gastgeberin. Wir fühlten uns sofort wohl und wie zu Hause! Es wurde an alles gedacht, selbst auf der Terrasse mit einem unglaublich tollen Sofa stand Mückenschutz. Da wir ein Auto hatten war alles sehr unkompliziert zu erreichen. Es liegt zwar direkt an der Hauptstraße, trotzdem merkt man den Verkehr kaum. Es war ein sehr tolles Erlebnis!! Nichts negatives zu berichten!

Les oiseaux et les chauve-souris sont un spectacle quotidien qui font oublier les quelques bruits de la route en journée. Proche des plus belles plages de Mahé, cet hébergement a complété agréablement la carte postale des Seychelles. Merci encore à Anne Lise pour son accueil , sa gentillesse et de nous proposer ce bel endroit. Allez y les yeux fermés.

• Gréta (10/5): Exceptional - It's a perfectly equipped, cozy apartman (nice furnitures, kitchen, etc) surrounded by the forrest. The highlight is the balcony with a big bed where you can watch the forrest with the fruit bats. Definitely recommended. -

• THOMAS (10/5): Un trop court séjour à hillside ! - Très bon accueil (avec un jus de fruit bien frais c’est agréable après une très chaude journée) nous avons échangé en anglais puis en français, en se rendant compte que la propriétaire était bilingue ! Nous avons passé deux nuits, idéalement placé pour nos visites et pas loin de take away pour nos repas ! Le logement en lui même est très sympa, confortable et climatisé.

Friendly and polite staff The kitchen cannot be used directly, the cutlery and dishes are not clean. The balcony door cannot be locked or closed well, it can be opened from outside by someone or stronger wind breeze.

• Gregory (10/5): Amazing stay - Amazing stay in the peaceful place for the vacation as well as for the remote work. Annalise was attentive and helped us with our questions, coocked us the most delicious fish in a garlic souce as well as chicken in curry. Cleaning was done perfectly with attention to each detail and towels changing. The villa was cozy with a well-equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed, an air conditioner, and a big terrace with a beautiful view. The location was perfect. It's around 10 minutes' drive to the Petite Anse Beach - one of the most beautiful in the island - we started almost each morning there (we were almost alone in the beach at this time). Another beautiful beach Baie Lazare just 5 minutes drive. To the famous Copolia Trail is about 40 minutes by car. The minumarket is in 10 minutes walk. In the nearby village you can taste delicious seychells street food. The best pizza on the island is in Dzayapizza, and you can make an order with a delivery to the apartment. We had a great stay in the Annalise's villa and defenetly recommend this place.

• Sergei (8/5): Very good - friendly hostess, cleanliness, comfortable bed, spacious, all equipped. A very fine balcony to chill on. Drinking water is available for use, so no need to buy bottles from stores. The closest beach is 6min drive, through a hotel. Overall the south East of Mahe is best for beaches, nature. wi-fi is weak, internet speed is very slow, and even basic browsing barely works:(

• Tis (9/5): Superb - Nice place, nice hosts, nice, well-equipped and spacious apartment with everything you need. The huge balcony is very nice to just hang out and enjoy the nature and surroundings. Bus stop and supermarkets are a 5-minute and Anse Soleil and Petit Anse are a 20min walk away. 10L of drinking water, welcome drinks and beach towels are supplied. And, the apartment has the most beautiful lamps in the bedroom! ;) We were lucky to get a free update, thank you for that! Definitely recommended! The kitchen and the bathroom are ok, might need some maintenace though. The rest was perfect, thank you! :)

• Bence (9/5): The property exceeded our expectation it was better than on the photos.Would recommend. - The host were super friendly, once they recognized us in the near grocery store and offered a ride. :) The location was spot on, we hired a car and we preferred the beaches on the south west side so everything was in a short reach. We also would like to give a huge thanks for the chance to go back after checkout and have a shower before the flight. I would highly recommend and definitely would return.
• Ixists (10/5): Exceptional - I loved the location, even without car it is possible to move around (if you like to walk), the nearby beaches are splendid and hosts were very friendly. They provide everything you need from beach towels to umbrella. And I especially enjoyed the balcony and even had breakfast there a couple of times. Nothing worth mentioning :)
• Pierre Cheelton (10/5): Wonderful Host - We really enjoyed our stay from Mrs Annie! She was a wonderful host ! And she helped us with a lot information we needed ! The best of best ! Her house is well cleaned and maintained ! We recommended her for any travelers coming to Seychelles !

• Kádár (9/5): A very pleasant stay close to the jungle - Great place with big spacious balcony with a view to the jungle. The apartment also has a perfect central location. Our host was very welcoming and did everything to have our apartment ready after a long flight. If you are afraid of dogs, I don’t recommend this place. My husband was bitten by one of the dog (small scratch nothing serious) when we gave back the keys.

• Kate (10/5): A soacuous self catering villa with an awesome outside space looking out across rain forest. - Clean spacious villa in a quiet location. The outside balcony area is a beautiful place to relax with a stunning view out across the rain forest. The apartment had everything needed for a self catering stay, the bed was comfortable and the shower was awesome. The owner of the two villas at Treetops Retreat was super friendly, we liked her very much.
• Irina (8/5): Jungle feel at excellent value for money - A jungle feel while being close to the main South road. View from the terrace is so nice, both when it is sunny and when raining. If you want most privacy, I recommend booking the upper house (No. 2 Palm house) as it is facing the hill and no neighbors. WiFi is barely there or not available, even in locations presumably closest to the router it takes at least 5 minutes for a simple text two-line message to be sent (I had no WiFi problem in the other two places I stayed in Seychelles). Another consideration is that the place is an outstanding value or money if you rent a car. I didn't rent one and enjoyed walking to beaches (appr. 30-minute walk in the hills--check out the beach at Four Seasons hotel, it is good for snorkeling) and using public buses (bus stop very close), but you really need to like walking and buses, otherwise rent a car.

• Ute (10/5): Calm and relaxing retreat in Baie Lazare - The house is fully equipped (washing machine, stove, etc. and you get 10l of water for free provided in a water cooler - very nice if you are travelling by public transport like me! Both living room area and the sleeping room have nice furniture, and you can choose between two types of pillows - so good sleep nearly guaranteed. Best thing for me: watching the bats flying between the palmtrees in the early morning while I ate my (self-prepared) breakfast on the balcony. Anne Lise, the host, is a welcoming and warm person. So, you will surely love the place! Minor thing: don’t count on the wifi, the signal is not that good.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent accommodation up in the treetops - The rooms are actually little apartments in a lush tropical paradise really close to the sea. They are spacious, clean and upon arrival come with a very nice welcome juice. The owner is lovely and also provides an excellent English breakfast for a small additional charge.
