- Vibiana (4/5): Rundown - The grounds are beautiful and the lake view is great. That’s it. The room was full of bugs, food was average, the bed sheets were completely worn down and like gauze. Then there’s the pool which looked great but they allow the locals and we had to share it with a group of teenagers. So the pool area was a mess and the pool needed cleaning. The location was not bad. Walkable to the town square / church.

- Kristin (10/5): Beautiful hotel on a previous hacienda - This hotel was very beautiful, a Salvadoran gem! A beautiful view of the lake from the restaurant! We also loved the appetizer we ordered: fried yucca with cheese inside. The restaurant staff was very nice and helpful, the receptionist for the hotel seemed kind of annoyed we were there but it didn’t take away from our stay. I would recommend this lovely place for sure!

- Dagan (10/5): - This hotel is an oasis in the most wonderful city! The rooms are huge and clean and the air conditioning works perfectly. The grounds are full of trees and vines and flowers and meandering paths. The restaurant, which serves delicious food and drinks, has the most incredible view of the lake. The staff is wonderful and friendly and accommodating. I can't say enough positive things about this hotel! 10/10!

- margaret (10/5): - Absolutely love this hotel. We stayed two nights with private balcony overlooking Lago de Suchitlan. Fabulous view, room service for coffee before breakfast in the room, actually on the spacious balcony. The room was also huge with two comfortable chairs, a loveseat sofa, lots of tables to set things on and a full table and chairs for 4 on the balcony. The dining room is beautiful and rustic. There are parrots in cages singing and chattering. Many beautiful antiques on display, some of which are for sale.

- Malcolm (10/5): Delightful Hotel overlooking the lake - A delightful hotel, wonderful setting overlooking the lake. The breakfast was excellent, lots of hot coffee. Our only comment is that the hot water in the shower was a bit variable, sometimes very hot sometimes cold. I wish we could have stayed longer.

It brought great memories from childhood when I went to the countryside. Somehow it transported us to the 1800s....

They have a decent sized pool that is super cold but very refreshing for the heat! The hospitality and breakfast was perfect! I will recommend this place to my family & friends!
- Maria (4/5): - I usually read the reviews before booking a place. The place was clean but the staff was rude. If you're are looking for a place to get in and out whenever you want to, this is not the place. The property is locked and nobody is at the front desk to open the gate. I had a compromise at 7am. I was I had to leave the hotel at 6:30am and couldn't leave because I was locked in. The main entrance and gate for the parking lot were lock. We looked for the staff and they were nowhere to be found. Until someone came on at 7:20am. Almost an hour waiting.

- Yolanda (2/5): Horrible service - We were looking forward to a great night. Everything started sinse we got there. There was a party going and nobody there to greet us. Somebody from the party came out ans asked if we needed something. They called someone from the lobby to come out. Had to walk thru half the party to get our key. We then were taken to our room. The room was nice and very comfortable. We used the pool for a bit very nice and warm water. We were told breakfast is from 8 to 10 came up to the reception area and 3 workers there nobody greeted us again didnt ask about breakfast it was like everything was closed we waited about 20 minutes and still nobody said anything. We took a couple of pictures and then decided to leave. When i turned the key in to leave finally the male at the counter asked if we wanted breakfast. I just said no thank you and we left. Horrible service. Our stay wasnt free. Need to learn how to greet customers. Horrible not even in the other hotels have we felt this way like we being ignored. Horrible customer service.
