- Elizabeth (7/5): Pretty good overall but could have been better. - The room was spacious, good WiFi, great proximity to restaurants and shopping. Had to make sure to pull the door completely shut. Our room was right by the laundry and vending machines so it was a little noisy. The bed and sofa bed were not comfortable and there were no linens for the sofa bed.

- Shelts (10/5): - The exceptional staff took care of our every need. . They were kind and professional. The rooms were extremely clean and decorated with style and comfort. . I also loved the breakfast each of the 3 mornings . We will choose Hotel Genpool" again in the future I liked and enjoyed everything! There wasn't a thing to dislike! !

- Mitzi (7/5): - Very clean and recently updated The internet drops when in your room. If you want to spend all your time in the lobby, it works fine. The front desk person was no help with this issue. Because we had rain that evening, I wanted to be fair and checked the connection at 5:30 am. I had the same issue. When you pay for internet, you expect to be able to use it in your room. My other issue was being told at check in they needed a copy of my card for "incidentals". When asked if it was instead a "damage deposit", I was told no, it was kept on file for incidentals. The staff needs to be educated. There are no incidentals available. It's not like there's a mini bar in the refrigerator. I understand the need for a damage deposit to protect the hotel from damage or smoking in the room. I felt like I was being lied to by telling me it was for something it wasn't. The next morning I asked the desk attendant if and when my card would be deleted from their files...hotels get hacked all the time. I was told after I checked out and no damage was reported, my information would be deleted from their file. I hope that's true, because that's the way it should work. Guests information security should be a top priority just like being able to access internet from your room. If not for these 2 issues, my rating would have been much higher. I hope the general manager/owner reads and addresses these issues.

- Heidi (6/5): The stay was short, but a pleasant night sleep. Cleanliness of our room was the only real problem. - The bed was comfortable. The shower was clean. The price was affordable. A pleasant experience for the price, but could definitely be improved on. A greater variety of food and better coffee would have been nice. Bread slices, fruit, yogurt, waffle were the only offerings. Some eggs, sausage, etc would have made it a little more complete. Our primary complaint was that the guests who stayed in the room prior to us made popcorn and burned it. Grease was all over the microwave (and outside it) and it smelled like burnt popcorn the entire night. So cleanliness was not the best.

- denise (9/5): this was my 2nd stay this year and l would enjoy it again. lt's convenient to so much around Tulsa - Great location, clean, comfortable, great staff, great value. Breakfast was minimal ~ waffles, danish and bananas was all l saw. Not a problem for me since l bring my own breakfast smoothie but important to others....

So after 20 min or so trying to trace the problem - The location The fact that they pulled another $100 from my debit card for a deposit. I think Booking.com should have had that worked out already. Especially beings the girl at the front desk volunteered information about my deposit would take approximately 14 days to resurface in my account. That almost sounds scamy in my opinion.

Breakfast was lacking, which wasn't necessarily a surprise based on other reviews and past experiences. Floor turned bottom of feet/socks black. Dirt smudges on light switches, etc. These things made us feel like we weren't in a clean space. At first glance it looks clean but then once you start looking closer you see the deep cleaning that is not being done regularly.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Family Stay - Overall our stay was good. The room was clean for the most part. There were spatters on walls that could have been cleaned. The tile in the bathroom had cracked grout but it was clean for the most part. The beds were a bit hard but not broken down. There were plenty of plugs in the room. There was a fee to have a later checkout. $10 for 12:00, $20 for 1:00 & $30 for 2:00. There was a 3% charge for using a card too.

The hotel is really clean, no odor, looks brand new, the bed was comfy, good pillows and the ac worked fine. Area appears safe. This place is way better than the 160 room I booked in Bixby last night. Some things to note, one tiny crappy bottle of shampoo and a tiny bar of soap so may need your own toiletries. The breakfast consist of only waffles, packets of oatmeal, hostess danishes, and yogurt. No iron or steamer that I saw in the room. None of this is a big deal to me because of the price but may affect others decisions.
