• Céline (10/5): Superbe séjour - Nous avons été très bien accueilli. Literie conforme à nos attentes, le seul bémol c est une cabine de douche trop petite. Nous avons pu goûter les pizzas proposée et elles sont au delà de nos attentes pour des pizzas surgelés. Le personnel est attentif à nos demandes et nos a très bien aiguillé pour les visites. Pour l accueil je mettrais 6 étoiles.

• Neil (8/5): - Overall a good stay in a good hotel. The check in was automated. No ac in a warm.room. beds and bathroom good. Location is a little remote if yoi stay on a sunday. All local amenities are closed. No bar in the hotel, but posslble bar at hotel next door.
• Courtney (6/5): - This place was average. It was clean for the most part, other than visible spills/stains on the walls and curtains. The bed was okay but only 1 small/thin pillow per person. The first night we had no problem with smell but the second night we had an awful sewage stench coming from the bathroom. Unsure of why. It was an okay stay, but likely wouldn’t go back.

L’accueil est chaleureux, une petite restauration possible, les chambres sont assez spacieuses et la literie confortable, la salle de bain est en excellent état.Nous avons été content de descendre dans cet hôtel le plus proche de Colombelles .
• Carole (10/5): Très bien, établissement vieillissant cependant - Nous avons bénéficié d’une chambre familiale, encore merci à la personne de l’accueil qui a permis cela. D’ailleurs, le personnel était très sympathique et accueillant. Petit bémol, lavabo et douche, avec une mauvaise évacuation, mais je l’ai signalé à l’accueil et cela va rentrer dans l’ordre semble-t-il. L’établissement est vieillissant, et cela se voit. Mais pour le reste, tout était très bien.

The staff were so helpful, letting us store our bikes overnight inside the hotel, which relieved the stress we always feel about safety! Very friendly, very clean, lovely hot shower, super comfy bed, around positive experience!

• magalie (4/5): Déçu - juste pour 1 nuit, arrivée tardive suite séjour en Angleterre et débarquement débutant à 22h15, quelle mauvaise surprise en arrivant dans la chambre de découvrir que le lit en mezzanine n'était pas fait, alors que la réservation était bien faite pour 3. Manque d'amabilité lors du petit déjeuner de la part du réceptionniste avec d'autres clients. L'espace prévu à cet effet est très exigu et mal disposé.

• Stuart (8/5): - Very convenient for the ferry port, only 10-15 mins. There’s an Asian restaurant only 5-10 min walk away or there’s a restaurant in the nearby Kiriad.
• jane (10/5): Basic but all that was required. - Room all you expect and staff happy to accommodate me to change rooms to be able to hear my motorcycle alarm if it went off. Shopping and restaurants in walking distance which was a bonus.
• Chris (8/5): Convenient and good price - This hotel is well located for the port, and we stayed here after a late arrival to the town before our long journey the following day. There was nothing open when we arrived, although there is a lot within walking distance when it is open! Friendly guy on the reception when we arrived who helped us with a few things (hot water for our snacks, extra pillows etc). Our checkin information said the reception was closed for checkin after 21:00, so we were provided with a code for the self checkin machine but apparently the reception is open 24 hours. The room was neat and comfortable, although there were a lot of cobwebs and dust on the walls. Overall, conveniently located and good price for an overnight stay.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Hotel itself fine, service to blame - Check in on confirmation between 12.30-5.30 Arrived at 12.30 to no physical persons there and an automatic check in. Only persons there was a cleaner, who informed us it was unmanned until 4pm Automatic check in didn't work, and we didn't find out until 4pm that it was because this 80cent tax on our room which wasn't included in the room rate we had prepaid. This information was no where mentioned. There is no emergency contact or persons available between 11-4 which for a hotel responsible for the safe keeping of their guests seems a joke. I myself am 7 months pregnant and also had a 2 year old with me and were simply checking in for a shower and nap before our ferry. Once receptionist arrived she sat behind the desk straight faced until excalty 4pm before not even wanting to here what I had to say despite her being informed by the cleaner. Curtains in room fall off rail. But room itself relatively basic and clean as expected. No problems with comfort of bed etc.
• David (10/5): Just what we were looking for - The Hotel fitted our needs perfectly. The staff were very friendly & helpful, nothing was to much trouble. The self service breakfast was good too & reasonably priced. We would definitely use it again & would recommend it to others. It is a budget hotel so no frills i.e. no kettle or hair dryer etc but they allowed us to take hot water from the breakfast room dispenser so we could have tea in the room if we wanted. We stayed 8 days & it was perfectly placed for our War grave & museum visits.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - Staff were excellent. Price was great bang for the buck. Well situated near Caen and walking distance to many amenities. The shower was very small as the curtain was always being drawn into the shower when the water was running. Would have been nice to have the floor swept while we were there however, for the price, it was a great choice.

• M C (10/5): Good ferry lay over. - Arrived late at the hotel from the ferry port. Straight forward directions to the hotel easy to find and adequate parking. Hotel had sent us a code to type into entrance consol,as there is no manned reception after 9pm.Unfortunately the door number pad refused the issued code and several other couples were having trouble gaining entry. luckily a man who had returned to his car phoned his wife in their room and she opened the main entrance from inside, The code for the room worked perfectly. Nice clean spacious room, comfy bed and a good hot shower. Highly recommend if you are staying over after leaving the ferry and hitting the autoroute in the morning. breakfast is available but we zoomed off.
