• Masaya (10/5): - Everything was good, we didn't need to drive all the way to downtown (there are enough public transportation) and the dock to get to Janitzio. Supermarket and convenience stores are nearby.
• Fred (8/5): Great but pricy - Very nice staff (we were given complimentary breakfast for all 3 nights even though it wasn't included). The room was clean and very comfortable. The location is also great, right between the lake and the town centre. Just 100 meters away from the hotel, there are abundant combi's that take you in both directions for just 10 pesos (I never waited for more than a minute for a combi). The garden is very beautiful as well. It was very expensive (15.000 for 3 nights) as we stayed the weekend of the day of the dead. I understand that prices go up at this time of the year but what we paid was too much. There was a lot of noise at night (until very late) from a nearby party or nightclub.

• Francisco javier calvo (4/5): - Por el costo que se me cobrò esperaba una habitaciòn mas propia de lo que crei era un hotel, son cuartos rùsticos, espacios en techos no bien tapados, creo por ahi entran bichos, encontrè a la entrada de la puerta arañas, el lunes que desocupè a la hora de mi viaje comenzè a sentir mucha comezòn con ardor en brazos y manos, la noche habìa muchos moscos o zancudos, pero mis piquetes con correspondìan a una roncha de zancudo o mosco, parecìa otra cosa, pues en mis granos que salieron se hicieron bolsitas de agua y se fueron secando hasta a los 8 dìas. y sigo con comezòn en brazos y sigue la roncha, para mosco ya es mucho. y por ultimo el señor que me atendiò no lo sentì atento, cordial, solo una vez ponian en el dìa cafè, no surtìò mas. y al entregar la llave del cuarto, no expresò una sola palabra de buen viaje como uno espera.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Escapada en pareja - Todo estuvo bien, excepto muy poca leña para la chimenea , se llamó en la noche para pedir más y la señora que contestó el teléfono negó el servicio que porque ya no había leña, y si había mucha , porque en la mañana fuimos a checar , de ahí estuvo bien , un poco más de limpieza en el baño , el lugar muy bonito .

• José Luis (8/5): Amplio espacio con árboles y áreas verdes - Buena estadía en general debido a que prácticamente fuimos los únicos huéspedes y la zona de RVs desierta debido sin duda a la pandemia, instalaciones limpias y mucha área verde con poca afluencia de personas, en conjunto hicieron nuestra estancia agradable al igual que detalles como leña para la chimenea en la habitación pequeña pero confortable.

• Antonio (2/5): - Pésimo servicio, la señora nos reclamo porque llevábamos niños cuando pagamos la habitación para cuatro personas, fui muy incómoda la estancia es un lugar muy pequeño la dueña te está vigilando todo el tiempo nos dijo que ella no tenía quien le ayudara que ella hacía todo casi casi que no ensuciáramos la habitación, cuando tú estás pagando por esos servicios y por disfrutar un descanso. Fue horrible y muy incómodo, jamás regresaré.

The problem was that we got delayed in our activities... The pool was dirty.... Is in a god location, not as much as I expected. The place is... ok. I will not say is amazing, the nature around is!

• ana (4/5): Not so great! - Honestly coming from the states, i would just recommend that you stay at best western that is only a minute from here. The owners are very weird . I felt like they were always next to our door. You have to turn on your water 10 minutes before you can shower. You get a trickle of water. If the water issue was fixed and the owner especially the lady wasn't so nosey . I might consider staying here again. The property is nice.

• bwilkins2014 (8/5): Lovely quiet RV Park in Patzcuaro with pool, WiFi - We have stayed here regularly and probably will again in Feb or March when we head into the mountains. It is located only a few minutes from the main Plazas in Patzcuaro and close to the docks for the boat ride to Janitzio
• Jane-Farnham (8/5): A lovely campsite - We spent 5 days camping here. A great location midway between the town and the Laguna with easy access to both by combi bus. The campsite facilities were very clean with hot showers, a nice pool and decent wifi. Would recommend to others.
• JimRhondaD (10/5): Beautiful little hotel - This small hotel and rv park is simply lovely. Even though walking distance to town, and the lake, it is quiet and parklike. Beautiful grounds, small pool, and friendly owners. Rooms are simple but clean and well-kept.
• garyrgilbert (8/5): A 35 minute walk to town - As the name suggest they are not only a Hotel but also offer RV spaces as well as Cabanas. We camped here on the grassy lots. All spaces have water, sewer and simple electricity hookups so there is no discount for Tenting. It's relatively quiet despite the nearness to the main road and only a few trucks use their engine brakes. There is however, a freight train that passes through during the night so if you are a light sleeper you will definitely be woken up (earplugs might help). Since it's at about 2000 meters above sea level the temperatures cool relatively quickly after sunset making it a perfect spot to escape the hot mexican temps.
• Margarita27 (6/5): fairly nice place - The cottage style rooms are sweet, though smell musty. The owners are friendly and helpul and your room is cleaned daily and topped up with new firewood and water. We paid $60 a night for ours, though I think you can pay more on their website. I think this amount is about right. The Villa is quite away from everything though the passing peseros are regular and easy. There is a pool though it was freezing when we went so no chance of getting in. There are not that many places around to eat..you have to walk a little to hit a restaurant and there's a little shop on the corner of the entrance to the place. Overall we had a nice stay.
