Shantal (6/5): Casi lo que se promete - La ubicación muy buena. Servicio muy bueno. Cama cómoda. Limpio. La habitación no tenía ventilación y por el precio me parece terrible. Se encerraba el ambiente y se escuchaba el exterior. La televisión no sirvió nunca aunque fueron muy amables en tratar de ayudarnos.

Taylor (7/5): I had a pleasant experience with this cool old hotel. - The size of the room and the tall ceilings. The rocking chair in the room. Loved that there was a separate closet. My room had an oversized entry door, so cool. In the bathroom: The toilet was tucked tightly in-between the shower and vanity. The balcony room is a bit noisy since it faces the street. I felt the bed could have been more comfortable.

Could have stayed at a nicer place for the amount we paid for our stay. - Location, cleanliness, staff on premises 24 hours, coffee service Had to climb four flights of stairs to get to our first room and the room was so small you could barely open the entrance door and nowhere to place our luggage. We were moved to a bigger room at a lower level, only two flights of stairs, that had two beds and therefore we were charged an additional $265 dollars for our stay 🙁

Directly opposite is a bar & rooftop restaurant that blasts music until late into the night. Then at 6am the church next door rings its bells. Then at 7am the traffic starts & the noise from passing motorcycles & buses is deafening Unless you are deaf or don’t need to sleep, look elsewhere

Antonio (1/5): We supposed to stay 2 nights but after one night we decided to leave and not comeback again to this hotel. What a waste - The hotel is in a really good location Unfortunately the pictures of the rooms are a complete lie. Our room was super small, tv wasn't working, there's no elevator and they leave you with only two towels, one face and hand towel. The bed and pillows were really uncomfortable. Bathroom was ok but there's no shower door so everything gets wet after someone takes a shower.

Grace (8/5): Would stay here again for the excellent location. - The only issue for me was the wifi going out. It was eventually solved. There is plenty of street noise with the balconey door open, but is quite muted when closed. The noise did not bother me. I enjoyed all the sounds of Mexico, church bells ringing, music, callejonadas singing. Just saying in case you want quiet.

If you go to the terrace, you have a clear view of the Templo de la Compañia right in front of you; you can see the Basilica on your left. The room was clean and had a balcony from where you get the amazing frontal view of Templo de la Compañia. the food at the restaurant is amazing. The room that I stayed in was tiny. The bed barely fit in the available space.

Staff was very nice. it has a very nice terrace at the way top of the hotel. the rooms are very small, had no wifi. cable got fixed after 2 days, it’s right in front of a beautiful church and the Bells rang al 6, 7, 8am every morning. rooms I. second floor are high and need to go up many stairs. pictures on page are misleading.

They sent up the maid who to our knowledge was the only one who came into the room while we were gone. When we came back the item was no where to be found. We reported it to the front desk and they refused to do anything about the missing item.

Minutillo (6/5): The location of this building is outstanding and its best feature. Building needs some TLC. - Location was excellent and staff was very helpful. Our first room had zero ventilation (no windows) and was hot at night so staff allowed us to move to another room for a few days at no charge. Internet signal was weak/unavailable because there are no access points at the higher floors. Water sprayed everywhere out of sink faucet. Water from shower sprayed outside the shower. One of the shower controls connected backwards and temperature hard to control. TV very old and component cables missing so picture was in black & white only. Room wall outlet wasn't full connected to the wall, very dangerous. Room safe did not work.
