- Verified traveler (6/5): - 這是一間很老的溫泉旅館，離商店街有一段距離，建議開車前往。 我是選含有早餐晚餐的方案，東西很鹹而且不是很精緻，晚餐可以看到早餐同樣的食材，感覺不是很好。
- Masafumi (10/5): - 全てにおいて不便なく、贅沢な宿泊をさせていただきました。 建物は伝統があり、少し古さも感じられますが、内装も綺麗にリフォームされておるようで、大浴場も清潔感があります。 屋上で松島ビューが観られます。 食事は、夜は提携レストラン、朝は館内レストランのビュッフェをいただきました。提携レストランは、チェックイン時に申し出れば予約とクルマでの送迎をしてくださいます。松島自慢の美味しい食材を使ったご飯を、味、量、金額全てにおいて満足にいただけます。宿泊でなくとも使えそうなので、松島再訪の折にはランチも食べてみたいです。 朝食ビュッフェも、地元食材をふんだんに使った美味しいお料理の数々。 温泉は人工ですが、露天風呂の温度も丁度よく、朝晩2回浸かっちゃいました。 チェックインからアウトまで、スタッフの皆様おもてなしが大変行き届いており、泊まって良かったです。

- Urs (8/5): Leicht ins Alter gekommen, aber sehr freundlich - Schöne Aussicht über die Bucht. Das Hotelzimmer war klassisch japanisch (Tatami/Futon). Insgesamt ist das Hotel leicht etwas ins Alter gekommen. Das Zimmer war aber sehr gross. Wer Angst vor einem Tsunami hat, das Hotel liegt auf einer Anhöhe. Japanisch/westliches, reichhaltiges Frühstück! Es hat einen Axolotl im Eingangsraum im Aquarium!

- Verified traveler (10/5): - It's a tranquil place. Everything is perfect - the only negative is some peeling wallpaper in the rooms, but that's nitpicking. It's a large room within walking distance of the station and the museums.

- ??? (8/5): - JR松島駅からちょっと登りますが、近くて便利です。徒歩10分程度で五大堂、瑞巌寺と観光名所に到達出来ます。宿の向いの展望スポット、ぶらタモリで紹介されました。登りきついですが、良い眺めです。
- Ayumi (8/5): - グループでも広く感じる部屋でした。 照明が一部足りなくて、暗いというよりは陰気な印象でした。壁紙が一部ボコボコになっていたり、古さは感じましたが、サービスはアップグレードされていて快適でした。 浴用タオル、バスタオルの他にトイレや洗面所用に、もう二枚タオルを用意して欲しかった。ハンドタオルでもいい。大浴場は清潔で風呂の種類も多く楽しめました。アメニティは豊富でしたが、クレンジングは洗い場にはなかったので、洗い場にも少しあったら良かった。 朝食は種類は少なめでしたが、美味しかったです。ご飯と味噌汁以外は冷めてました。 いつでもスタッフの方々の対応が丁寧でした。

- An (8/5): Fijn verblijf - Het is een flinke wandeling van en naar het station. Het hotel is goed gelegen voor de bezienswaardigheden. Het zicht vanaf het dak over de baai is de moeite. De kamer was ruim en netjes en we hebben genoten van de onsen. Het ontbijt was goed verzorgd.

- Richard (10/5): Great hotel Great area - The hotel was great and in one of the most beautiful areas of Japan. If you like Onsen this place is great. Also breakfast was amazing.
- Pik Kwan (8/5): - It located on a hill, about 15-20 mins walk from Matsushimakaigan Station. Along the way, you find shops & restaurants. There’s a ferry pier & a park, temples & a museum. You can also walk from Matsushima Station, however, I prefer Matsushimakaigan as there’re more to see. The hotel offers free shuttle pick up & drop off which is a plus.

- Yoshiaki (6/5): 宿泊の感想 - <良かった点> ・対応者：フロント、部屋案内、（朝夕の）食事係。全体的に素晴らしい対応でした。 ・料理：特に朝ごはんは素晴らしかったです。 ・お風呂：１F、２Fとも雰囲気はとても良かったです。 ＜改善したほうが良いのではないかと思った点＞ ・チェックアウト見送りの際に玄関付近に居た若い男性スタッフ：足を組みながら体も客を向かずにお辞儀していたこと。その後、その若手スタッフは第二駐車場から出ようとしていた我々に見向きもせず、ポケット片手で携帯をいじりながら駐車場にある宿のマイクロバスに用だけ足して宿にまた戻っていきました。要教育だと思いました。 ・料理：人手不足なのかもしれませんが、男性１人で夕食の配膳等をしており、声かけるのが申し訳ない感じがしました。（頼みづらい雰囲気がありました。客が気を遣うのはあってはいけないと思いました。） ・お風呂：２F洗い場に備え付けのクレンジングオイルの入れ物の蓋あたりにカビが目立ちました。入れ物の表面も滑っていました。１Fの露天風呂には蜘蛛の巣など全体的に清掃にもっと力を入れたほうが宜しいと思いました。お部屋や館内も全体的にほこりが目立ちました。清掃にもっと力を入れたほうが宜しいと思います。

- Verified traveler (4/5): A bit disappointing - A bit of an old hotel, so the condition wasn't great, but that's to be expected. What was dissapointing was the level of service. Things were constantly forgotten. First day they cleaned the room but didnt replace towels or Yukata. Second day they completely didnt clean the room, but did leave a little 'tea sweet'. Also quite annoying that they insisted to copy the resident card (something that is not needed for residents)

WE had a Japanese speaker wth us so that was useful in terms of understading aspects of the stay. THe dinner was a stand-out experience of traditional Japanese style dining. Good location, within walking distance of the waterfront etc.

- James (6/5): A Japanese experience for sure. - This is a 100% Japanese hotel for Japanese tour groups and events. Essentially no English is spoken. You had better be able to sit comfortably cross-legged or you will be very uncomfortable while packing and unpacking, using your computer, or anything else in your room. Breakfast extensive but mediocre by Japanese standards. Heat, AC, and wifi is centralized so quality varies by room in the old fashioned way. Lots of dings on the walls. Renovation overdue. Some Japanese luxuries such as dinner in separate compartments if you pay for dinner.
- Verified traveler (6/5): comfortable, but a bit overpriced - --rooms are spacious and comfortable, but the condition is a bit worn down, which was a bit disappointing given the cost of the place --the food was not that good, and again this was a bit disappointing given the cost --the outdoor hot spring was terrific --service is good --I'm not sure this is advertised well online, but I believe that the hot spring is not a natural one -- this is something I learned only when I arrived in Matsushima, but I should also say that I'm not entirely sure what a non-natural hot spring is.

Excellent dinner in the restaurant and good Japanese breakfast. Very little English spoken but very helpful staff. Free rides to and from train station. Very quiet and relaxing
