• Claire (9/5): Very comfortable home away from home for a wonderful long weekend exploring the area. - The house is very comfortable, in a quiet area only 10-15 minutes walk from the shops and cafes. Being winter, it was an added bonus to be able to light the fire for a cosy evening. I can't say there was anything I didn't like.

• Grace (10/5): Perfect for our family of 6 - Charming inside and outside and located close to restaurants and shops in Halls Gap. Especially loved the BBQ grill, fireplace, bathtub and cosy living room.
• Robin (10/5): Dacelo. Your first choice for accommodation in Halls Gap. - The property was beautifully presented both inside and out. The communication from our host was excellent, especially after a total fire ban and a power outage impacted the property duing our stay. If we are ever back in Halls Gap Dacelo will be our first choice. Almost everything was perfect. If there was a small "didn't like" it was the cuttlery. It was very poor quality and at total odds with the rest of our experience.

Next year we are trying somewhere else due to Dacelo not. - The place is always clean and tidy Cheap cutlery and the dinning room chairs without a back on them. When in the house we spend most of our time around the dinning room table. The stools provided are just not comfortable. In the end we brought in the plastic chairs from outside to sit in while eating and socialising. Still not comfortable but better than the stools.

• Kath (9/5): Halls Gap is a terrific place to unwind and I highly recommend Dacelo. - Lovely warm house with a great outlook and plenty of wildlife. We had a memorable stay and wouldn't hesitate to book this property again in the future.

• Stephanie (10/5): Cosy stay - Great set up, very well equipped and SO WARM! The fire is incredible and makes the whole house so cosy. Lovely views and an easy walk into the township. I would love to stay at Dacelo again if we visit the Grampians.
• Alison (10/5): Dacelo was a lovely place to stay - What a fabulous place to stay! Comfortable, spacious, clean, and it had a fantastic view of Boronia Peak. Great central location, but not too near too many other people. We loved the outside area for a bbq and a fire. The inside fire was lovely, too, although as the house was so well insulated and cosy, we didn't really need it...but hey, we were on holiday! What can I say about the bath???? Loved it!!!! What a view!!! So good to soak in whilst looking at Boronia Peak, which we had just climbed! The kitchen was well appointed. Beds comfy. We hope to come again but maybe, as it's for sale, this will have been our first and last visit 🥰😔 ah well, happy it happened! Thank you! Virtually nothing to dislike! Maybe another tea towel and some oven gloves? Very minor inconveniences!

• Daina (9/5): Beautiful relaxing serene. - The location was close to everything we wanted to do. I loved the wildlife out in the backyard. I loved the serenity. It could have a been a bit cleaner, in between the cushions on the couch were heaps of crumbs and rubbish.

• Tammy (10/5): Beautiful property with a feature bath tub and nice outdoor decking area for entertaining. - Beautifully maintained property, very clean and spacious. We loved the bath tub and the outdoor decking area where we enjoyed evening drinks and breakfast with a view the following morning. Netflix was a nice addition to wind down in the night. Signal for the TV was not great and kept cutting out all the time so could not watch the regular TV channels. Its shame that this property is now up for sale as we would have recommended to others and would have likes to stay there again in future.

View from backyard was amazing and we loved spending the afternoon outside in the sun enjoying the bird life.

Upstairs bathroom was lovely and having a bath was a bonus as was having a laundry. Ensuite didn’t have anywhere to put things and was small. Needed more kindling. Tv sound wasn’t great.

The house was warm and cosy on a very cold winter night and the beds were comfy. Kitchen was fabulous! Bathrooms could use more powerful fans, I think, but that we loved the property and would happily stay here again and again!

Only living room and one bedroom had reverse air conditioner. Will be good to have portable heaters for the other 2 bedrooms as it was very cold in winter. Hot water ran cold halfway through filling the bath tub.

Very clean, very nice furnised and decorated, great outdoor area, big kitchen with all items and equipment that could be needed, big fridge and big freezer, two clean bathrooms. • Trvly (10/5): Beautiful house in a perfect location for our adventure in the Grampians. - A beautiful place to stay. Very spacious with a lovely yard, stunning views and an occasional kangaroo or kookaburra stopping by. The kitchen was very well-equipped. The Main Street and gas station were less than 5 minutes’ drive down the road - super accessible. We had the loveliest time here and it broke our hearts to leave. Highly recommended for any family or group of friends planning to visit the Grampians! Very minor - I had difficulties locking and unlocking the doors using the house keys. Not a big issue - just something I struggled with when we were leaving/coming back. Also the walls and floors are quite thin - when someone moves, the whole house hears it. But this seems to be a common thing I’ve observed across almost all my accommodations in Australia. I got used to it after a while.
