• Liza (4/5): hotel boutique com cara de pensão - O hotel é bem localizado Fiquei em um quarto triplo que era tão pequeno que mal conseguiamos andar por ele com as malas no chão. O café da manhã é o mesmo todos os dias (pão, ovo, presunto, arepas, café, suco e mamão) e o que salva é o funcionário Frank que é muito agradável e solicito. O hotel simplesmente não tem serviço de limpeza diária e troca de toalhas ou lençol. Ficamos hospedados uma semana e nesse período entraram no quarto somente uma vez para retirar o lixo e fazer as camas. As toalhas foram trocadas duas vezes. Levando-se em consideração que o quarto não tinha janelas, passamos a semana usando toalhas úmidas e nada secava (biquínis, cangas, roupas de praia). O fato de não limparem o quarto e o banheiro foi o mais desagradável, pois o lixo ficava quase transbordando e o cheiro de umidade era horrível.

• Marta (1/5): Una estafa y con poca responsabilidad del personal - La ubicación Un empleado del hotel nos estropeó 4 prendas de ropa lavándolas sin tener ese servicio disponible en el hotel, para ganarse una propina extra. Además, las fotos de booking nada que ver tienen con la realidad, ventanas rajadas, gotas de pintura por todo el alojamiento, y para terminar, nos encontramos una cucaracha viva por la habitación. Además no se han hecho cargo de nada de esto. Adjunto fotos de la cucaracha y de las prendas.
• Sarah (9/5): Bom custo benefício e bem localizada - Hotel muito bom e há poucos minutos andando para a praia Spratt Bight, além de ser próxima de supermercado, centro, marina que saem os passeios de barco e restaurantes. Hotel possui água quente e cama confortável. Funcionários super educados e prestativos, um agradecimento especial para o Fran que nos tratou muito bem. Infelizmente não há janelas no quarto ou algum lugar para secar as roupas de praia, o que acaba deixando elas bem úmidas para o dia seguinte. Infelizmente a limpeza não é feita todo dia também, realizada apenas uma vez no meio da estadia.

• Marília (5/5): Você vai encontrar opções melhores - A localização do hotel é muito boa, dá para ir à praia a pé, tem lojas e restaurantes por por perto. O quarto estava limpo e a cama era confortável. As redes wifi atenderam minhas necessidades, mas precisa ficar trocando. Quarto: as portas do vaso sanitário e chuveiro não oferecem privacidade nenhuma. A água do chuveiro é fria e, ao chamar a funcionária para verificar, ela me disse que era daquele jeito mesmo e não tinha outra solução. Café da manhã: era basicamente ovo com presunto (se você não come carne, não tem outra opção), suco artificial e café. Em um dos dias, tinha arepas também. Mas no geral, é bem simples. O café é servido numa área de passagem entre os quartos e o que o chuveiro tinha de gelado, o local da refeição tinha de quente. As mesas na parte de fora estavam sujas, com bitucas de cigarro, então o jeito foi comer no ambiente de sauna mesmo.

• Cristina (10/5): Hotel recomendable! - Estuvimos alojados en este hotel y en general la experiencia fue muy buena. Las instalaciones estaban limpias y cuidadas, la ubicación es excelente y el ambiente muy agradable. Quiero destacar especialmente la atención del recepcionista Frank, que fue siempre amable, profesional y muy dispuesto a ayudar con cualquier consulta o necesidad. Gracias a su trato, nuestra estancia fue aún más cómoda. Sin duda, lo recomendaría y volvería en el futuro.

• Izaskun (6/5): - Frank nos atendió fenomenal, nos ayudo con los tour y taxi y nos guardaron las maletas . Sin duda la atencion de Frank y la ubicación lo mejor del hotel. La habitación era pequeña. El baño muy justo, la puerta no cerraba por estar hinchada de humedad. El colchon tenia dos huecos y te hundes, las toallas no estaban del todo blancas. el desayuno muy pobre. El precio muy caro para lo que es.
• beatriz (6/5): bom custo benefício - os funcionários, especialmente o Frank, que domina o espaço com sua simpatia, são muito gentis e dispostos a ajudar com dicas e questões da pousada. os quartos não tem janela, e não é possível deixar o ar ligado para manter o quarto ventilado, então suas toalhas e roupas não secam. o chuveiro não era bom, com baixa pressão de água e gotas que se espalhavam para todo o banheiro - já que também não há box no quarto que estávamos. depois do banho, o banheiro inteiro ficava enxarcado, o que nos incomodou bastante. a hospedagem não tem elevador, então é necessário subir os lances de escada com todas as malas. para quem tem limitações nesse sentido, esse é um fator bastante considerável. no café da manhã, as opções eram bastante limitadas em seleção e quantidade: se você acordar um pouco mais tarde, possivelmente ficará sem opções. sobre a localização, é um pouco mais distante do centro do que eu gostaria, especialmente para os retornos a noite, quando a rua fica mais vazia e pode assustar. ficamos por apenas dois dias, então os pontos mencionados não foram grandes fatores - mas em uma estadia um pouco mais longa, com certeza incomodariam. no geral, recomendo para quem busca um custo benefício bom e terá uma passagem mais curtinha pela ilha :)

• Charles (10/5): Pousada agradável com ótimo custo benefício! - Fomos muitíssimos bem recebidos pelo responsavel da Recepção, o Sr. Frank, que nos deu todas as informações e dicas sobre San Andrés. Nos sentimos acolhidos. A pousada é simples, porém bonita e limpa (muito importante informar que todos os dias existe serviço de limpeza pela manhã). As demais pessoas da equipe também são simpáticas. Quarto possui Smart TV com excelente acesso a internet. A única observação que deixo para os donos do empreendimento é que coloquem apoios no quarto e no banheiro, onde possamos pendurar nossas toalhas, roupas úmidas e principalmente produtos de higiene. Nosso quarto não tinha armário e cabides, e isto fez muita falta. No mais, vale a hospedagem. Excelente localização!

• Maritza (4/5): - We were very disappointed with Ataraxy, we could not make it to our trip, my wife was hospitalize suddenly we notify Expidia and the hotel and Expidia was very nice to try to get a credit for us but Ataraxy will not accepted. we had other hotels booked and with the same situation they were understanding and gave us credit. We still are planning our trip but will not stay at Ataraxy. We felt no compassion or sympathy together unseen circumstances. We appreciate Expidia who did a great job with cancel all our bookings. • Guilherme (6/5): Not worth the money. Wouldn’t stay again. - Its located a few minutes walking from the city center and restaurants, but the street is a little bit deserted at night. The staff was friendly, specially the lady who served our breakfast. The photos really did not match the reality. Things looked worn out with poor maintenance. There were ants in our bathroom and in two occasions we found cockroaches in our bedroom. There were no hot shower and the breakfast was very poor, basically just eggs, bread, one kind of fruit, one kind of juice and coffee. And when we asked for more scrambled eggs they said it would be charged extra. Not worth the money.
• Florian (4/5): Doesn’t worth the money paid ! To Avoid - The hotel is 10 min walking from the airport and very close to the heart of San Andrés. The staff is friendly and helpful. They’re always available and ready to answer your needs. The room had no window and the WiFi didn’t work at the end of the corridor that was leading to our room. The bed was big but the mattresses have been very used by the time and could be changed. The bathroom was aging old and the finishes would need a little refresh. We had no shower curtains so the floor was wet instantly. Unfortunately, we had no hot water. During night, the light is always turned on on the corridor and is very visible from the room. From 8am, the loud non-stop playlist starts at the reception and people start speaking out loud. It’s impossible to rest and have a good sleep. What to say about the included breakfast … better having one out of the hotel : eggs everyday and black coffee with diluted juice. At least the fruits are good. Otherwise do not hope a tasty breakfast as it looks more like a 1$/pax breakfast. If you look for a hotel to rest and enjoy a « heavenly » Caribbean island, this is not the right place … Doesn’t worth the money paid ! To Avoid

• Matias (3/5): The hotel is nothing like announced, it's overpriced and not worth the money. Location is good - Location is good. The hotel is nothing like the pictures you can see announced in Booking. Rooms are in poor condition, with humidity, mould and paint coming out of the walls. We found a cockroach in the bathroom as well. There's no hot water, although I was expecting that to be the case. The breakfast is the same every day: a small plate of fruit, coffee, eggs and sliced bread.

• Mary (6/5): - Staff ver nice. Room adequate. We had a problem with water leaking into the bathroom from somewhere, so we had water on the floor all the time. The air conditioner couldn’t dry up the humidity in the room. The staff kept coming in to shut the ac off, when we left the room. No hot water for showers. Reason given was, because of Covid. Very good location, middle of downtown. Lots of restaurants and a very short distance to the beach. No buffet breakfast, as advertised! Not bad for the money we paid.

• Joel (6/5): - In short: I do not recommend it. Why? Well, in essence I have the following comments regarding the hotel: 1. The service is actually very good. Quite above average, and that needs to be emphasized. In relation to the attention of the hotel staff and their hospitality I have no complaints. 2. The cleanliness of the bathrooms and common areas is not the best. Moisture stains, smell of paint in the rooms, washbasin, etc.. The restaurant also does not have the best possible cleanliness, the chairs are dirty, the tables are dirty and the floor with clear signs of not having been properly cleaned, dirty windows all the time and everywhere .... 3. The air conditioner leaks water inside the room, which makes the humidity issue even more serious. In short, the hotel has the potential to be good if they improve the cleanliness and maintenance in general, but as it is now, it is not the best option for the price they ask. I would like to highlight, however, the excellent attention we received from the staff.

Hotel, se é que isso é um hotel, sem nenhuma manutenção, banheiros com hidráulica quebrada, sem água quente no chuveiro que vaza água para todo o banheiro. Não tem nenhum lugar para pendurar uma toalha que ficam sempre molhadas. Nao tem um local para colocar roupas... roupas molhadas tb, pois estamos em local de praia. Café da manhã muito simples só com pão e ovo todos os dias e uma opção de fruta, em resumo.. terrivel e com preço caro.
• Daiane (8/5): - O hotel é muito bem localizado. Fica próximo a várias lojas, e muito próximo a praia. Um grande inconveniente, foi o horário do café da manhã. É das 8h30 as 10h. Os passeios são muito cedo, então acabamos não tomando café nos dias de passeio. Outra coisa ruim é a demora para servir o café e para nós brasileiros, acostumados com fartura, não espere grande coisa. Muito simples e pouca quantidade. O quarto era bem ok, pois pegamos com cama king. A limpeza deixou a desejar. Dois dias tivemos que pedir, pois não haviam limpado o quarto. O atendimento é bom e as atendentes são simpáticas. No geral, o hotel é simples, mas vale a pena se não estiver buscando luxo.
• THOMAZ (2/5): Bonitinho ordinário - Sabe aquele hotel bonito nas fotos e terrível por dentro? Pois bem, o Ataraxy “Boutique” hotel é um deles. De “Boutique” ele não tem nada!!! Sobre o atendimento do hotel: funcionários soberbos, sem preparo nenhum para lidar com o público. Com exceção do funcionário Juan, super simpático e atencioso. Único que se salva. Acomodação: nosso quarto e banheiro eram sujos e não havia janela no quarto. Chegava ser irritante pra quem gosta de passar mais tempo no hotel. O que não era nosso caso. Chuveiro sem água quente! Um dificuldade imensa pra ter toalhas limpas. Tivemos dias em que as toalhas não foram trocadas! Café da manhã: Cada dia uma tortura. Péssimo, poucas opções de comida. Os funcionários se negavam a oferecer comida para os hóspedes. Não queriam dar leite ou água quente, que são coisas básicas em qualquer hotel. Um de nós pediu mais pão e foi negado! Péssimo atendimento e pouco caso com os hóspedes. UM DOS PIORES CAFÉS DA MANHÃ das nossas vidas!!!

• Osmar (4/5): - El hotel no queda cerca a la playa. Esta ubicado a 10 minutos del mar lo que es un problema cuando tienes niños pequeños. El desayuno es terrible. Solo ofrecen café negro a niños menores de 7 años. El aseo en las habitaciones no es impecable. No te dan jabón para todos los días y menos shampo. No todos sus empleados son gentiles con los huéspedes.

• JARRISON (10/5): Excelente opción en San Andrés - Todo el personal super atento y la estadia fue muy agradable, es un hotel muy tranquilo, alejado de ruidos y es muy privado.
• Ivan (6/5): - The property is showing its age. Shower infinity nozel had 20 holes, 5 worked. Dirt or grime in the divider. No elevator, no porter so i walked up 3 flights with no help. Breakfast @8am but 2 tables not set until 830 with 8 people waiting.

• Edilma (6/5): Las fotos engañan - Las fotos no tienen nada que ver con el establecimiento de Hotel Boutique no tiene nada, más bien parece una posada. El aire de la habitación no enfría, no hubo jabón en toda la estadía. Lo único rescatable es el desayuno.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - Fue en general una experiencia muy buena. El hotel es un lugar tranquilo, la habitación muy cómoda. Muy atento todo el personal.
• Yeny (6/5): - La estadia no estuvo mala. Pero solo hay una persona que se encarga de todo ( La limpieza, administracion. Check in y check out, etc). y cuando uno necesitaba algo no habia nadie en la recepcion. La limpieza muy regular. La cama quedaba llena de arena. Se observaba que solo tendian las camas y no sacudian. Tampoco hay parqueadero. La ubicacion excelente. Muy cerca de todo (playa, restaurantes, almacenes..). Las habitaciones muy incomodas. Y no hay armarios para colocsr las cosas. Mejorando esto, el hotel seria espectacular.

Lack communication along staff because I paid for vip room included breakfast and We ever received one so we decided buy outside.be aware before booking.
• angieprincm (2/5): Pesimo lugar - Pesimo lugar no pierdan su dinero con este lugar. En la habitacion que nos asignaron no servia la puerta del baño, no habia cable TV., no funciona el aire acondicionado, se reporto al medio dia cuando llegamos no dieron solucion alguna, tampoco nos cambiaron de habitacion y me toco salir con mi padre y mi hermana a buscar hotel 11 y 30 pm por que ellos no dieron solucion alguna. La ciudad estaba realmente sola por que estabamos en dias de paro Nacional por lo cual habia toque de queda desde 8 pm cosa q ellos sabian por que me lo informaron a la llegada. Algo inconcebible para huespedes que ni siquiera conocemos la ciudad. Lo que presentan en la lagina es mentira fotos sumamente arregladas a su conveniencia todo es falso cuidado con estos lugares q se aprovechan de los turistas.. Lousy place don't waste your money with this place. In the room they assigned us, the bathroom door did not work, there was no cable TV, the air conditioning does not work, he reported at noon when we arrived they did not give any solution, they did not change our room either and I had to go out with my father and my sister to find a hotel at 11:30 pm because they did not give any solution. The city was really alone because we were on National Strike days for which there was a curfew from 8 pm, which they knew because they informed me on arrival. Something inconceivable for guests who don't even know the city. What they present on the page is a lie, photos highly arranged at your convenience, everything is false, beware of these places that take advantage of tourists.

En la habitacion numero 7 q nos correspondia no servia la chapa de la puerta del baño.. el aire no enfria.. no sirve el cable para ver television... tampoco nos reasignaron otra habitacion. No dieron ninguna solucion. Ni siquiera la minima muestra de querer atender los inconvenientes a pesar de que se le dieron a conocer a la recepcionista a medio dia ..llegamos 10 pm y no habia nada solucionado a las 11 y 30 de la noche me toco salir de ese lugar con mi hermana y mi padre con maletas a caminar y buscar otro hotel donde quedarnos ...importante tener en cuenta que estaban en dias de toque de queda por este motivo todo estaba cerrado desde las 8 pm y ellos nos informaron apenas llegamos es decir que si sabian...pesimas pesimas condiciones. No recomendado tengan cuidado ademas las fotos que estsn el el app nada de eso es verdad. Disculpen pero no quisiera que las demas personas pierdan su dinero y arruinen su viaje por q eso es perdida de tiempo y dinero
• lauradT5810TD (8/5): A charming hotel - We had a great experience there. We had a problem in the room, was raining a lot and the water was dripping inside the room. We told the employees and they gave us a really good attention, upgrading our room to a better one. All people there is very helpfull.
• MICKAEL (6/5): Chambre sans fenêtre et sans VMC!!! - Nous avons réservé 3 nuits pour 3 personnes dans cet hôtel. A la réservation sur hotel.com, la chambre en photo avait une fenêtre. Nous nous sommes retrouvés dans une chambre sans fenêtre et bien sûr sans vmc non plus... Avec la climatisation certes donc pas trop de chaleur... mais insupportable niveau humidité et odeur... Je ne comprends même pas que cela puisse exister dans un hôtel à ce prix, et ce n'est même pas légal dans notre pays par exemple. Nous avons essayé d'obtenir une autre chambre avec une fenêtre pour les 2 nuits qu'il nous restait car nous avions très mal dormi, du mal à respirer avec l'humidité, mais on nous a dit qu'il n'y avait pas d'autre chambre disponible et que c'était bien celle-ci que nous avions réservée, donc ATTENTION, les photos des chambres sur le site ne correspondent pas à la réalité. Par contre, l'hôtel est très propre et le personnel aimable...
• Vlad (6/5): Poor price-quality ratio - Pictures of the courtyard are a bit deceiving. There were chicken walking carelessly all over the place, and I was lucky enough to step in poop at some point. Room was quite nice and clean, with a comfortable bed and working aircon. There was only cold water running in the shower - but I guess that's the case for the whole island and we expected that so it didn't bother us too much. Also, there were signs of mould on the walls in the bathroom and the sink tap wasn't working properly. Moreover, during the night it got very noisy - cleaning ladies were chatting and laughing very loud early in the morning and it seemed as if neighbours were throwing stuff onto our room's roof. Breakfast consisted of only three same fruit types, juice, two bread slices with butter and jam and scrambled eggs (probably 2) - every day. Wifi was barely working - in our last day we needed to print our plane tickets and kindly asked the guy at the reception to do this for us - we ended up turning on a hotspot for him so he could download them as he wasn't able to do it on wifi. On checkout they tried to charge us two extra room-service drinks that we did not consume. I would like to mention that we are not at all picky when it comes to accommodations. However, the overall feeling we left with was bad and I would say the service and customer care standards should be much higher for the price paid (70e/night)
• ragucharlene (4/5): Careful no windows in rooms - I booked two rooms for the same price. (One for my mother and the other one for me) First room had windows however second one no. A tiny room with no windows at ALL. Reception told me that they’ll give a me a second room but no. LIE They told me that I needed to add in special request that I wanted a Windows but it is no sense to ask for such request ? It wasn’t specified upon booking. Thief and lie. If you can, avoid this property.
• RAFAEL G (6/5): Fotos enganam, nao vale o preco - Hotel Fraco !, Fui colocado em um quarto sem janela, Escadas perigosas a subir, agua quente por diversas vezes nao funcionava, pessoal da recepcao solicito, nas 4 diarias hospedadas, em 3 acabavam os itens do cafe FRAQUISSIMO da manha, otima localizacao, perto de tudo, esta BEM longe de ser um hotel boutique, PESSIMA CAMA, rangindo e afundada no meio,

La habitación muy pequeña, no entraba aire, las tuberías dañadas, por lo cual se pasaba encharcado el piso, no renuevan el mini bar, no colocan suministros de aseo a tiempo. Se nos fue el agua en una ocasión y tocó con baldés de agua para bajar la cisterna.
• Fabio (2/5): Acontecimento extremamente Chato - o Hotel até que é bem legal, ficamos 4 noites la, porem na ultima noite tive uma surpresa extremamente desagradável, que nunca tinha passado, chamei pela gerente e ela me disse que não poderia fazer nada, pois eu não tinha adquirido um seguro cobrado a parte, coisa que eu nunca vi em nenhum hotel na minha vida! mas vida que segue!

• JohanaGutierrez (8/5): Nice hotel - We ejoyed our stay at Ataraxy Hotel Boutique. The staff was very friendly, helpful and the room was clean.The hotel was about a 10-15 minute walk to the main beach. I would have like to have wifi in the room, but not a big deal. You can access wifi at the reception and outdoor space.
• elisabuvit (2/5): Do not be fooled / não se enganem - We had the the most horrible experience in this Hotel. The staff is extremely rude and all the tours they booked for us were late and the service horrible. There is no hot water in the shower, and they don´t offer water or coffee in the breakfast. Would not recommend it to anyone.
• Carlos (8/5): Pleasant stay - Great hotel overall. Near the beach and restaurants. Only complain is that they did not have beach towels.
• jorgerolins (6/5): Good hotel and location. - I went to San Andres with my girlfriend and after we reserved a room in Hosteria Mar y Sol and stayed there for one night, we discovered that would be impossible to stay at the south of the island. We booked a room at Ataraxy at last minute and got there when we woke up. The hotel is clean e good, no fancy, but the employees are great. Lisa in the morning was lovely, the guy from afternoon not so good and the one at night very nice too. Alexis who works at a guests relationship helped us a lot. Only thing is not good is the breakfast, because you don’t choose what to eat from a table, they bring you one portion of fruit, scrambled eggs, toasts (old ones) and jelly.
• Priscila (8/5): Boa - A estadia foi boa, o único incômodo foi que no hotel não tem água quente, mas como o clima é quente deu pra tomar banho gelado.

• Laura Yazmin (6/5): - Es un hotel lindo pero nos pareció que falta espacio para poder acomodar las cosas en la Habitación. Cuando llegamos no nos dieron información ni de wifi, de desayuno ni de ubicación,pero si nos hicieron firmar un acuerdo por roturas, ruidos molestos, etc. Nos pareció costoso en relación a la prestación.
• DidierMoraes (2/5): we were robbed in the room - We were staying at this hotel on May 23 - 26, 2018 and someone from the hotel staff opened the safe and stole 200,000 Colombian pesos and 50 dollars. I complained to the landlady, who promised me things, but did nothing about it.
• GGs_trips (8/5): Nice and affordable boutique hotel - The hotel is pretty and I believe it has been opened a few weeks ago. It cannot really be seen from the street, but it's actually a pleasant surprise when you see it. Everything is pretty new and has a modern decor. The hotel is about 4 blocks from the beach and very central. Breakfast is basic, but good. Staff is friendly (even helped us with some currency exchange - someone came to the hotel for us!). Rooms are small, so having extra luggage can be a problem. We were a party of 2 on a room with a queen bed+a twin and I cannot imagine having a third person added to that room. We were already tight in space to accommodate all the luggage (we visited San Andres in between other destinations). We stayed at a ground level room which did not not have windows, so it was a bit claustrophobic. Also, I could hear people having breakfast in the morning, given that the dining area was right there.....but I always travel with ear plugs, so it was fine. Good thing is that, with such amazing Caribbean waters outside, you don't really want to stay in a hotel room.... I'd stay here again!
