• Martinez Martin (9/5): Buena ubicación, cómodo y limpio. - Ubicación buena. Todo muy limpio. Cafe, té y galletas en la habitación. Cambiaron toallas todos los días. Un poco de ruido de la calle y como era la habitación junto a la entrada, la puerta del del hotel sonaba mi fuerte al cerrar.

• H (7/5): Central location, basic small room - The location was very handy, one stop after Camden. It was self check in and next to subway stop The room was tiny, it looked different to the photos. I requested a room with a tv with working channels but they didn’t work, Netflix worked.

• Selina (9/5): Jederzeit wieder! - Die Lage ist absolut perfekt, direkt neben einer U-Bahn Station gelegen. Self Check-In und Check-Out, die Kommunikation mit den Betreiberin verlief aber einwandfrei und sehr freundlich. Es gibt keinen richtigen „Room Service“, es werden aber täglich die Handtücher ausgetauscht und ein bisschen sauber gemacht. Insgesamt für London ein absolut unschlagbares Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! Man darf natürlich keinen riesen Luxus erwarten. Man hört die U-Bahn leicht, die Matratzen sind etwas durchgelegen, der Schlaf war aber trotzdem super :)

• Vivien (9/5): - Strange staying somewhere with no obvious staff around, but that said, clean, tidy, comfortable and very convenient for overnight stop before getting Eurostar.
• Hannah Bentley (6/5): Do not recommend - The location was good and easy to access. We had no hand soap or toiletries. There were stains on the towels and duvet cover. The duvet cover also had a large hole in it. The whole hotel smelt musky and horrible. There were no teaspoons and the tap water didn't get cold. It did for one night after a few drinks, but wouldn't stay again.
• Holly (8/5): Good Experience - Great room, clean and tidy. Private bathroom. Good pricing and room was literally around the corner from the destination I needed to visit. (KOKO) Thank you, would use again! :) I didn't realise it was self check in, slightly noisy in evening due to Tube but to be honest being next to a tube station it was expected, especially on a ground floor. Tea spoons in room for hot drinks would add a nice final touch for tea & biscuits provided :)

• Ilayda (8/5): good place - The location was excellent and the rooms were very easy to access thanks to the clear instructions provided. I was very happy with the amenities in the room, including the kettle, tea, coffee, milk, and cookies. Despite being on a busy street, the room was quiet, which made the stay comfortable. The heaters worked well, and essentials such as shower gel, shampoo, toilet paper, hair dryer and towels were all provided. Everything was clean and satisfactory. Overall, I was happy with my experience and would happily choose to stay here again. Thank you!

• Zahm (8/5): Bon rapport qualité prix ! - Cette chambre est un bon rapport qualité prix, c'est propre, la femme de ménage passe quotidiennement dans la chambre pour nettoyer et changer les serviettes de bain. Salle de bain privative propre et récente. La localisation est absolument parfaite, le métro est à 20 mètres et étant donné que c'est un métro très profond, nous n'entendons pas le métro passer lorsque nous sommes dans le bâtiment. L'hôte est une personne très gentille et très arrangeante, je recommande ! L'isolation phonique serait à améliorer, nous entendions les chambres voisines et chaque claquement de porte. Nous étions au troisième étage et les couloirs sont étroits mais bon, nous sommes en Angleterre, on s'y attendait ! La fenêtre est en simple vitrage donc nous entendions l'extérieur, travaux, sirène de police, comme si nous avions la fenêtre ouverte.

• Salvatore (8/5): Einfache, saubere Unterkunft. Abwicklung/Kommunikation mit Gastgeberin top. - Ich habe eine Unterkunft nahe Camden / Electric Ballroom gesucht und somit war die Lage perfekt! Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war top. Die Dusche war gross. Nicht so wichtig, aber der TV war vorhanden, doch ausser BBC2 konnte man keinen anderen Kanal empfangen. Die Sat-Schüssel müsste neu ausgerichtet werden. Die Fernbedienung zur Klimaanlage war unauffindbar. Im Badzimmer hat es keine Abstellfläche, das Waschbecken ist sehr klein.

• Sandrine (8/5): - Chambre simple et propre. Emplacement juste à côté du métro et de stations de bus. La porte de la douche était cassée et la télévision ne fonctionnait pas bien. Les équipements devraient donc être vérifiés et entretenus plus régulièrement. Le chauffage était réglé trop fort sans pouvoir le modifier ce qui obligeait à dormir la fenêtre ouverte, donnant sur la rue.

Great if you just want a simple room to sleep in. - good location near the underground and bus. the room was bigger then expected with 2 bathrooms. daily cleaning with fresh clean towels. quiet neighborhood. Great beds. the windows didn't close properly and we had to figure out how to lock them. every time you opened them, they would not lock properly and you had to maneuver around it. the bathroom could be cleaner. there was no controller for the aircon but the heaters worked fine.

• Jean (7/5): small but convenient stay in Camden - good position in Camden a bit further from all the busy streets, good connection to undergrounds right next door or at camden town stop, nice communication with the Owner via Chat beforehand, comfortable bed not too soft The room was extremely small and as shown in the fotos I ve had expected some kind of extra couch or table in it which was basically just downstairs the "communal" area, this should be mentioned more clear, there was absolutely no space to put suitcases on and not even a chair in the room, passing to the right side of the bed was extremely hard aswell ( like not even 30cm between bed and wall), so for that price and the shared fotos I have expected a different room, cleaning ladies have been very friendly

Communicated and information from staff was good and friendly, and helpful, and room was nice good bed shower plugs etc, kettle biscuits and soap bits. Was really warm in the morning, maybe because there was 3 of us in the room, there did appear to be air con but didn't have a look at trying it.

• Martin (7/5): Worth it for the price. - The room was fine looking, ok size for the price and location, and especially the bathroom and shower was far more generous in size than what we are used to in the area. It was also clean, and the staff maintained it well for the four nights we were there. Instructions for getting in and out was also clear and appreciated. The room was quite warm, which necessitated opening the windows during night, even in early spring. This was a significant issue in a noisy neighborhood, with a lively bar directly across the street. The bathroom was also incredibly warm, which was a bit of a struggle. On the other hand, we did not notify the staff of these issues, so we're not dragging the review significantly as the hotel did not get the chance to rectify these issues while we were there.

There is a club on the other side of the street and the music is extremely loud in the weekend night until around 3. . I used wax earplugs to sleep. If you are sensitive to sounds, not for you.
• Kalegue (7/5): Good location - This hotel is a good choice for a one-night stay. It’s just 30 seconds from Mornington Crescent Station and 15 minutes to Camden Market. We also chose it because it’s close to Euston station. The single-glazed window let in noise from outside. I found a large spider when we arrived, and also the curtains had stains on them, raising questions about the cleaning. I’d stay there for only one night.

• Nathalie (7/5): Toplocatie op loopafstand van Camden market en naast metro - De locatie was heel goed (direct naast de metro) en op loopafstand van Camden market. Kamer ruim en het bed was zalig! Ook konden wij op de eerste en laatste dag onze spullen achterlaten voor in- en na uitschenken, waardoor we nog tot het laatste moment van Londen konden genieten. De schoonmaak kon iets beter.

• Geoffrey (6/5): Good Location - Location, in Camden Town, near perfect. Spacious for a couple (2 persons). The room was not really clean, with old clothes under the bed. Also, the "second bed" was just a couch. Once, someone just entered the room, without warning.

• Agata (10/5): - Spacious room, great spacious bathroom with a shower. The room was really clean, everything was spot on, great hairdyer, electric kettle in the room. Really comfortable and huge bed:) Really helpful owner/manager, helped us with everything. The location is great, right next to the tube station (Northern line) and bus station. There are some local shops M&S, Tesco, Aldi. Places to eat breakfast and lunch, some pubs. Nice and quiet area. I will definitely come back next time in London. Everything was great. Really, there is nothing I could complain about.

Double glazed windows do amazing job of keeping street noise out. One of the lights in the bathroom had a random short burst of flashing but wasn’t all the time.

• David (8/5): - I feel that I need to leave a review as I have seen many negative reviews. I almost cancelled my stay the morning of travel due to some of the comments however I am so glad that I didn't as the Hurdwick was a brilliant place to stay. I stayed in room 11 which was clean, comfortable and well equipped with drinks making facilities. The room was clean and the bathroom was great with a good sized shower. There are a good amount of stairs to negotiate to get to rooms 11, 12 and 13 but that was ok with me so all good can't complain especially with the price and location.
