• Mariann (10/5): - Positive: if I could give a 7 star, I would for the staff. They were just genuinely pleasant and helpful. There's a lift so no need to lug your suitcase. You walk out of the hotel and the tram #1 is right there if you need public transport. We only used it a couple of times though e.g. to get to Dolmabachi Palace as you are only 5-10min walk away from all the major sights. Staff also upgraded us to a better suite free of charge: the living room was on a very lively street but the bedroom was in the back - quiet and peaceful:). I would definitely stay here again. Negative: I screwed up our booking on Expedia and I could not get a refund for the first two nights. I contacted the hotel and they said they could not do anything. The Expedia listing did say non-refundable rooms but I was hoping the hotel would be able to refund at least some of the money.

• WAI HUNG (6/5): - It is close to the old town and the nearest tram station, also a lot of restaurants and shops nearby. However, didn't think the hotel was suitable for family stay especially if travel with elderly, because the room was small (i booked a family suite, but still), and also the stairs were quite narrow for moving the luggages up and down. Furthermore, we can't drop off at the entrance of the hotel because it is in the middle of traffic, and we can only drop off at the spot with carpark which was around 3 mins walk while carrying our luggages. Although another plus point was the staffs were very helpful and friendly, also was able to help with our requests during our stay in there.

• PATRICI (10/5): Excelente hotel en el corazon del Sulthanamet - Excelente todo La ubicacion perfecta a minutos caminando de todas las mezquitas mas importante A pocas cuadras del puerto de Eminou donde salen los tours x el Bosforo y los ferries .Cerca tambien del puente de Galata y con el subte que pasa x la puerta que con sus combinaciones puedes ir a cualquier lugar de interes turistico de Estambul.Zona comercial con infinidad de negocios y restaurants .Muy atentos y amables todos los conserjes Realmente si vuelvo a Estambul sin duda elegiria el Old Port.

And the room I stayed in at the Old Port Hotel was certainly on a part with the one I had in the Hilton. Top marks to the old port hotel Istanbul. Top marks to the Old Port of hotel in Istanbul W. • Suk Wan Anita (10/5): Functional and central - We liked our sea-view suite on the 6th floor which has two long writing desks, one in the living room and the other in the bedroom. There is a door between the living room and the bedroom, allowing my husband and I two separate work spaces. The kitchenette with microwave oven came in handy too. There was only one pot and one pan. We also had to borrow the cutting board and cooking knife from the kitchen. But the kitchen served our simple cooking needs. The service of David, Ibrahim and all other staff was excellent. Everyone was so helpful, friendly and polite. The only negative is that cabs cannot stop in front of the hotel as the street is mainly for trams. Even the sidewalk is narrow. But the hotel staff would help take bags to the taxi stand near the Sirkeci train station just one minute away on foot. The location is good for taking public transport and exploring the Sultanahmet area. Traffic noise and the regular calls for prayers could be a problem for some. We were fine with it. Overall we were happy with the stay.

• minha (10/5): - 구시가지를 구경하기에 위치가 너무 좋았습니다. 그리고 직원들이 정말로 친절합니다. 이후 여행 일정에도 큰 도움을 주셨습니다. 다만 교통이 편한만큼 트램이 호텔 바로 앞을 지나다보니 트램 소리가 생생하게 들렸습니다. 제 남편은 그 트램 다니는 소리가 이스탄불의 생소함을 즐길 수 있어서 좋았다고 했습니다.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Great stay - The location was great just a min walk to the tram station and about 5 mins walking distance to the ferries station and also to the main bus depot. Blue mosque and Hagia sophia are also within 10 mins walking distance. Many restaurants and bars around which are also open 24 hrs. Friendly staff and great service and we got a sea view room so overall a great stay. Just the only downside was the wifi was really slow in our rooms as we were on the 5th floor.
• Washington (8/5): Insgesamt gut - Ort ist super. Nur die Decke in Bad war abgekrustet. Viele turistische punktorten waren in der nähe.
• Idrees (10/5): - Great hotel right in the "thick of it". Rooms are small but neat and well put together and comfortable. Above everything, seeing the guys at reception every day was a blessing -- they were super attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful about Istanbul. Be aware it's RIGHT in the happening part of Sultanahmet so there's a loud street below which we could still hear at night from the 6th floor, ie when a siren went off. Not an issue for us but something to know. Overall we were very satisfied and would highly recommend!

• Verified traveler (10/5): Bedste reception service :-) - Perfekt lokation. Alt er tæt på, alle turist attraktioner i nærheden. Moderne værelser og toilet rene værelser. Hjælpsom medarbejder i reception, hjalp os med låne paraplyer gratis super service, og bestilte taxi for os til hjemturen til lufthavnen. Kan kun anbefale det her hotel alt var perfekt. Det her hotel kan Anbefales da alt er i gåafstand og det er ret moderne soveværelser.
• Kim (10/5): 위치, 서비스, 룸컨디션 모두 최고 - 여동생과 함께 이 숙소에 12월 중순쯤 3박4일간 묵었습니다. 숙소를 업그레이드 해주셔서 4일동안 스위트룸에서 묵게 되었는데 정말 좋았어요. 방도 매우 컸고, 뷰도 좋았고, 위치도 정말 좋았습니다. (항구 근처, T1정류장 걸어서 2분, 공항에서 i20타고 술탄아흐멧에서 내려서 걸으면 10분, 블루모스크, 아야소피아, 톱카프 10분) 무엇보다 리셉션에 계신 분이 지배인인지 직원인지는 알 수 없었지만 이분.. 굉장히 멋진 분이셨고 정말정말 친절했습니다. 영어도 정말 훌륭히 구사하셨습니다. 솔직히 제가 본 이스탄불 사람들 중에 영어를 제일 잘하셨어요. 이 숙소에서의 좋은 기억덕분에 이스탄불의 시간이 완벽했어요. 이번 여행에 카파도키아를 못가서 다음번에도 이스탄불을 방문 할 계획인데, 저는 여기에 또 묵을 것 같아요.

But if you want nice view when having breakfast, this hotel is not for you. The restaurant is small and located basement. but food was quite good, but not special.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The person at the reception helped us with Turkish bath booking, giving us directions of using public transit. He even helped us to call our tour operator in arranging airport transfer pick up. This hotel is in front of tramway and could be noisy. We had a room facing the back and we did not hear the noise.

• Sungun (10/5): - Sehr Sauberes Hotel, wir waren im Zimmer 102 sehr schöne Suit. Zimmer wurde immer sauber gemacht und das Frühstück war auch sehr lecker. Wir werden nochmal hingehen, falls wir wieder ein Hotel benötigen in Istanbul. Top Lage direkte Verbindung zu alle Sehenswürdigkeiten und vor dem Hotel gibt es auch viele Restaurants o.ä.

• TO (10/5): - 友達4人でスイートルームに泊まりました。フロントは小ぢんまりとしていますが、部屋は広々としていてとてもきれいでした。朝食もトルコらしい食べ物がたくさん用意してあり大満足でした。また、早朝に到着する飛行機だったのですが、偶然部屋が空いているからと言って、朝の時点から部屋に入れてくれ、さらにその朝の朝食までサービスしてくれました。

Mooi hotel, moderne kamers: niet erg groot maar alleszins functioneel met nette prima modern meubilair en sanitair. Fantastische (stort)douche. Boven verwachtingen allemaal, vandaar de top score!
• JW (10/5): - 시르케지트램역까지 2분이면 걸어갈 수 있고, 에미뇌뉴와 마르마라이역, 갈라타다리도 금방이예요. 주변에 맛집, 카페, 온갖 가게들이 다 있고 현지인들이 이용하는 소박한 먹거리 시장부터 화려한 디저트점이 이웃입니다. 리노베이션한 지 얼마 안되어서 완전 깨끗하고 군더더기없이 모던해요. 공간은 넉넉합니다. 깔끔한 조식도 괜찮습니다. 매일 아침 직접 구운 빵을 서너종류 내어놓는데, 먹어본 빵 중 거의 제일이네요. 풍미도 있고 부드럽고.. 차려놓은 음식들이 담백하고 신선했습니다. 바로 앞으로 트램이 지나가서 건물 뒤쪽으로 창이나 있는 이코노미룸을 선택했더니 소음 모르고 지냈구요.. 사람들도 다 친절하네요. 로비공간이 넓진 않지만 지나가면 그 뿐이라 별 지장없었고요. 1박해보고 3박 늘려서 총 4박했습니다.

• RD (10/5): - Old Port Hotel is a hidden gem! I booked it by reading just few reviews and honestly hoping for the best. I couldn't have been happier with our decision to stay at Old Port Hotel. The hotel sent us a welcome email before we arrived asking for our flight arrival and whether we need a taxi. We decided to take Uber, although it was tricky because we had to go to the airport parking lot to take it. The rooms were super comfortable and with nice views. The bed was great. One of our room had stains in the carpet, but it wasn't an issue for my parents whom where staying in that room. Cihan and Ibrahim were super helpful and nice to my parents and me. Cihan even walked us to the place were we could buy our public transportation passes. They also gave us tips on where to buy the best souvenirs. I would give them 5 out 5 for superb customer service and professionalism. The breakfast was very yummy and included turkish and regular options. I highly recommend this hotel!

The bathroom is also very clean. Beds are also comfortable. Breakfast is also delicious. All the staff are kind. The reception staff who work in the morning are the most friendly. He helped me a lot. I strongly recommend you stay at this hotel. Everything is a perfect hotel.

Всегда останавливаемся в этом районе, удобная транспортная развязка, рядом порт, трамвай, Мармарай . Сам отель понравился, номера не большие, комфортные. Great spot for exploring the old city, Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sophia, blue mosque and much more. Close to ferry and tram perfect spot to start a trip in Istanbul.

• Ismahan (10/5): Tack för en trevlig vistelse! - Mycket trevlig och tillmötesgående personal. Oerhört hjälpsam och lösningsfokuserad. Det var en mycket positiv överraskning, nytt och fräscht med engagerad och intresserad personal. Personalen var dessutom måna om att vinka av oss ända vid taxin så att dem kunde ta bilens regnr för att vara säker på att vi varken blir lurade eller otrygga.
• Özkan (8/5): - Hotellet ligger perfekt. Helt tæt på Sirkeci stationen og tæt på mad og drikke. Hotellet er pænt og har pæne værelser. Rigtig venlig receptionister. De var pris smilende og snaksalige Det store minus er deres rengøring og morgenmad.
