• Dane (10/5): Exceptional, the most amazing staff and location - Everything about Aether Pai Villa is perfect, especially the staff, so helpful, polite, thoughtful, kind, this is now the 4th time we have stayed here and it gets better and better, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Pai Nothing, everything is absolutely perfect, there is no negatives at all, one of my favourite places in the whole of Thailand, not just Pai

Upon arrival, we found that the property did not match the photos or description on your site and was unsuitable for our stay: 1. The back of the unit was completely open, allowing animals and even people to enter freely – posing a clear safety and privacy risk. 2. The private pool was filled with flies and mosquitoes, making it unusable. 3. Our daughter, who has a mosquito allergy, began showing signs of an allergic reaction immediately upon entering the unit. 4. We spoke with the owner on site, who understood the situation and advised us to contact you for the refund. Given that we did not stay at the property and had to urgently find alternative accommodation, I kindly request a full refund. • Matthew (9/5): Gorgeous views in excellent accommodation - We loved the view from the roof and the farm setting. The owners were amazing and took care of us answering any questions we had. The room was cleaned every day, with fresh towels and toiletries. Air con was left on too, as otherwise it gets very hot in the rooms due to all the glass. Location is a bit far by foot but perfect once you get a bike. Very peaceful and serene rice field setting and got some amazing photos and memories from our stay here. Highly recommend! Our room was opposite the parking which meant you could hear bikes and cars starting up and returning but nothing major. Also there were cockerel’s which made some noise around 5am but we knew this before coming and had made peace with it for the setting. One night we had a lizard in the bathroom (they are completely harmless), we didn’t mind and we named him Nico, but just a heads up for people in the future that this could happen. You can hear the Tipsy Tubing music but as stated in other reviews this stops around 6:30/7.

On our last night, there was a local party blasting music from across the field. A little disturbing in a quiet area but it ended early enough for everyone to get some rest

The location is perfect as it’s quiet and peaceful, but also not far from the main area - would recommend :) The shower wasn’t the most powerful but it still worked fine and didn’t bother us too much

• Brian (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely fantastic location next to the river and nestled next to a farm. Misty mornings sipping on coffee and sunsets on the rooftop were spectacular. Staff were friendly and made sure things were in order but mainly just let you enjoy the peace and solitude of an amazing setting. Sunset on Friday evening was interrupted by another resort down the river blasting pop music for the Tipsy Tubing excursion but was over by around 6:15. I also wish the courtyard lights weren't so bright so I could see the stars a little better but Orion was in full view so it could have been worse.

• Dion (3/5): Unpleasant, unclean, overpriced. - The pictures of the place are glamorous. The location of the place wasn’t great, there was only an uneven dirt road to access the accommodation, making it unpleasant to traverse. It is difficult to travel between the property and town by foot. There were ALOT of mosquitoes in the apartment, and even with the doors closed, they will make their way into the rooms. The pool was not enclosed and the water was not very clean, and after a few hours the pool would be filled with dead insects, and it gets worse over night. There were no tables in the rooms for us to place our belongings.
• Ayrlee (9/5): So serene! - The villa was beautiful, comfortable, with gorgeous views, and the staff was so kind. We arrived after a very long drive (762 turns iykyk!) and they couldn't find our booking but were so accommodating. We had to move rooms the following day but the staff was so outstanding that we never would have even noticed, they didn't rush us or knock at all, and offered to move our bags and everything for us. Location is not right in the center of things, but why else come to Pai if not to be surrounded by the mountains and nature. Not that I personally didn't like this, but if you are a light sleeper, know that the roosters will crow quite early. So if that type of experience isn't for you, maybe bring some earplugs.

• Jacob (8/5): Peaceful, quaint villas with a beautiful backdrop. - Well finished rooms, lovely outside area with beautiful view. Staff are very helpful and kind, even with slight language barrier. The property is located on a farm. After a period of heavy rain, the road to the property is very muddy and full of puddles. This makes it quite difficult to enter and exit.

Living with the farm experience, being woken to the sound of the roosters and hen's is a nice change from the sound of traffic. The villa was a perfect location, a short was walk from town, but not too far to miss on the action.

Properties are quite run down and don’t look like the pictures, the simple rooms the windows face the path where everyone walks so you have to keep curtains close at all times.

• Jenna (8/5): Overall a really good location, and I loved how big and open the room was. - I loved how this location was out of town a little ways and away from the night chaos. It was still super close to scooter into town though. The room was very simple, big, and open. I loved the windows and curtains. The AC machine works super well and kept the whole room at a really great temperature. Really beautiful views from both the room and rooftop. Adorable chicks with hens on the property as well. Laundry was an option which was nice, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing that wasn’t great was the bathroom was pretty small and dark inside. Additionally, the water temperature was warm but didn’t ever really get hot, so during the cooler evenings it was cold to take a shower.

• Lisa (9/5): Big clean room with roof top! Amazing! - Super big private room, enough space for luggage and the roof top was really great to enjoy the sun. Super clean and everyday they asked for a clean-up needed to be done. The staff was very helpful and always there to support! It was in the middle of the green, to walk to city center 25min. Everything was really great.

We stayed in a room with a terrace on the rooftop and the sunset views of the mountain were the best in Pai (far better and more tranquil than Pai canyon views in my opinion). Villa was very clean, comfortable and huge. The location is not the best, the view and the peace and quiet being out of the centre of Pai makes up for the longer walk into town. It takes at least 20 minutes to walk into the centre, so may not be suitable for some. It would be good for the resort to offer bicycle hire!

The rooftop is really nice and gives 360 views of the landscape. They clean everyday and do a really good and thorough job. Free water and coffee daily. I enjoyed it so much that I extended twice. Really nice owners as well. Highly recommended! I liked everything

• Dfrailev (10/5): Exceptional - This hotel is a bit far away from all the interesting sights in Pai, anyhow, it is definitely the best place to stay if you like silent and quiet space for you. The room is really spacious and it has amazing views of the mountains surrounding you. Plus, the terrace upstairs is giving you an amazing sunset viewpoint. All was good. Maybe it misses the chance of having breakfast, but, there are pretty close places where you can have amazing and very fresh/healthy breakfast.

Very quiet there and you could hear the sounds of the birds, people working at the farms etc. It was a great stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were very generous with everything. Great people!! The shower water pressure was very low, it was very hard to even wet my feet let alone taking a good shower. The mirror near the sink was also put in a weird position to see yourself. There was no power socket in the bathroom. There was no wardrobe in the bedroom either. The outside room was very dirty, the bed had a lot of dust and ants, there was spider web in the rooms. They are not well maintained and cleaned regularly which they should do as it's a great place.

Bed was vers confortable and big. The accomodation had everything you need and the room service everyday was great! always fresh water and fresh coffe for the morning. everything was very clean and you could even walk (20 min) into the centrum. location was so calm and in the middle of nature. we would directly come again and loved the appartment so much :) People were really friendly also! Bad to no wifi in the room and the food was unfortunately only with meat, eventhough on the card it did not mention the meat. We are vegetarian. Staff did not speak good english, so it was hard to communicate about the food but they really try everything to make the people happy and were so friendly and helpful!

That beautifully scene blocked by cement wall, what a waste. The living room with a big windows but can't be open, poor ventilation even a big fan on the top
