Guest Reviews
- Serge (4/5): Évitez - C’est crade , bruyant, des rats quartier pourri
- William (8/5): - For a budget stay it was good..could be a little bit cleaner than it was.. but over all i enjoyed my stay..
- Vinicius (4/5): - This property is too old location is good wifi good cable tv unable to watch due to no signal.
Nothing much to see at Chinatown chinese food is beliw average and overprice.
I will not visit Chinatown agian.
- Justin (2/5): - It was dirty, floor was wet because sink was leaking, shower didn’t really work pressure was awful and bathroom and the room were filthy.
- Daniel (10/5): - The staff here is super nice. This hotel is located in the Chinatown neighborhood of Manilla and is an area with some folks who are struggling financially.
So if you stay here you will be contributing to a neighborhood that needs the support of good people. It is not dangerous at all.
I actually want to see this side of a city and see what folks are really dealing with. I saw aspects of Manila here that I would not have seen had I stayed elsewhere.
From this hotel you can walk to the fine museums Manila has - the art museum is really spectacular. You can also walk to the huge park and see the old Spanish fortifications.
The room I had was large, and it had a nice bed and air conditioning. I actually caught a little cold or something and spent a couple days in bed and I enjoyed it - lying in the dark, recouperating with the AC on etc. :P
If you are on a budget, this room will be fine for you. Good staff, clean, safe room, air conditioning, TV...walking distance to cool stuff.
- Reuel (8/5): - You get what you pay for. But it’s better than the motels like Astrotel in Cubao
- Veo (2/5): - The street was flooded. It was difficult to go there. The room is old and dingy so I decided not to stay. The lady at the reception was very jolly though.
- Romeo (10/5): - very close to restaurants & shopping.
- CJ (6/5): Lovely receptionists - Old run down place - The hotel is so old and rundown. The people on the reception are very friendly, and the location is good for food options. Room was so dusty, rats running around the corridors, so noisy, no daylight, just very old and run down. The bed was OK, bathroom was old and dirty. Just not the best.
- Al (8/5): - This was our second stay, stayed there about a month ago for two days. This is a budget hotel, for the money you pay it is fine, hot water in the shower, air con works, it is safe and quite for downtown China town Manila. The hotel is old of course, so some things are dated and worn. But it is clean, cheap, friendly staff, your deposit gets returned, for the money you cannot go wrong staying here. Decent mattresses, towels, clean sheets, so over look a missing toilet seat, you are saving money! Not going to get first class accommodations for the $30.00 a night for three guests! Will stay again if in the area, can't give a higher praise than that.
- David (10/5): Very nice hotel and good location. - It was great. Friendly, accommodating staff, prompt and easy check in, clean and comfortable room with great amenities, good location and reasonably priced.
- ANDREW (10/5): - Simple and best price so far so good
- Hiram (8/5): Budget hotel in Chinatown - Budget hotel located in Chinatown.
- Steven (10/5): - if your looking for a true manila experience this is the place to be. ... close to food and shopping. .
- Paul Stephen (2/5): Just Aweful - Worst ever. Hallway and room reaks of cigarrette smoke. Do not stay here. Little cockroaches everywhere. And old poorly maintained hotel this is. Rhe stay was a nightmare.
- Anthony (10/5): Great value, thanks - It’s a no frills, bargain basement hotel, you pay for what you get , but the beds nice and the aircon cold , and the shower is ok also , staff are terrific, close to everything, spend your hotel savings on take away
- Eng (8/5): - Good value for money
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The staff was friendly but area was too crowded.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - All services good, help for all, for cleaning my staff, fo morning breakfast, for cleaning evriday room , nice hotel
- Verified traveler (8/5): Comfortable stay away from home - The price of room is within our budget. The location is very strategic and well-known hotel. The staff is very helpful and easy to approach. The room is clean.. The guard is helpful. The downside we observed during our 6 day stay is that the smell like someone is cooking at night from the groundfloor reaches in our room.
