Jelikoz jsme vyb - Nic se nam nelibilo Majitel je arogantní, nespolupracuje, do dnes nam dluzi penize. Prezentace ubytování je vymysl, chatky nejsou v lokaci kde jsou prezentovane, k mori to je minimalne 15 minut, musite jit pres hlavni a vedlejsi cestu.

Chyběla nějaká skřiň ,nebo věšák na oblečení.A boudičky podle nabidky vypadají že jsou u pláže.Ale jsou přes silnici.Nicméně je tu klid a nám to vyhovovalo.

• Prelesnik (8/5): I loved my stay in Baan Phuen and would definitely visit again. - I loved my stay in Baan Phuen, the little house was clean, had an AC and all the facilities that you could need. It’s on a great location, you are close to some of the best restaurants. The garden is beautiful. Be careful to close all the windows and doors because there are a lot of geckos.

Bungalow vaste et bien décoré La réception n’est pas évidente à l’arrivée: elle est située en dehors de l’hôtel.Il a fallu demander le renouvellement dusavon, papier hygiénique, changer les serviettes, vider les poubelles. Rien de grave car tout ça a été fait avec le sourire.

The best is however that it is very close to the beach - just cross the road and you are at a resiort with a nice beach, bar and restaurant. A lot of value for very little money. Nothing to comment.

• Joanna (10/5): Great stay for a good price - The garden was amazing. It was quiet and secluded. I think it would be good to get some cleaning daily because of the sand.
• Linda (9/5): Nice! - A nice, basic, but super clean bungalow at a very good location. The shower was cold, but we also didn't ask the staff to fix it so can't really complain about it.
• Ladytraveller (8/5): Beware of the new fancy bungalow - In the standard bungalows is small refrigerator in the room, good wifi, water tap for washing feet at the entrance. There is a wardrobe but in that area the air is very humid so it would be nice to have a rack for hangin clothes. Be careful not to get the newest fancy bungalow - see photo. It does not correspond with the description on booking.com. It is very small with only about half meter space around the bed, no furniture to hang your clothes or store your things. I complained and after one night I could move to the standard bungalow.
• Anna (2/5): Disappointing - The island is nice. We were able to check in and there was a bed, toilet and shower. There were some plants around the bungalows. There wasn’t a beach we could go to nearby. The sea is 100m away but the ‘Keep out’ sign and fences to a private property made it unusable. You need a motorbike to go to beaches. It is also close to the main road. The bungalows are close together and not a nice place to hang out. They were dirty, big spider in room, and not comfortable in any way. We expected a nice foresty place, but it was behind a swampy area. We stayed away as much as possible. When we wanted to talk to staff they weren’t there. I’m glad we had everything booked from our previous place. Don’t expect any help here.

Ett enkelt boende, nära till strand och restauranger. Helt okej men skulle ändå inte vara mitt förstahandsval vid nästa besök. Men inte heller besviken det funkade bra till ett lågt pris.

• Gilles (8/5): It was very nice. - Room was super clean, and the bungalows are big enough. The resort was calm. The place is beautiful and the bungalows are hidden from the street. So the noise from the street is a lot reduced. Beach is 2 minutes by walk. I had an issue with the AC that stopped working 3 days before my departure. But the owner reacted pretty fast and change my bungalow. People there are very nice :)
• Kendra (6/5): - The reception was difficult to find. The building is separate from the bungalows and is not marked with any type of sign. I walked in circles (literally) for about a mile until I stumbled upon some other guests who told me where I needed to go. Even then, when I went to the building the woman told me I was at the wrong place (turns out I WAS in the right place but due to a language barrier she did not understand what I was looking for). Eventually I bumped into the owner who I randomly came across just walking down the road and asked if he spoke English and could help me. Long story short, the reception is a bit up the road from the actual bungalows in a grey building with a glass front. Hopefully this helps anyone in the future that also may get lost. They did not answer the phone number provided either when I called seeking assistance. The bungalow is very basic, as I expected. No breakfast was available despite being advertised as such. There was also no TV in the room, which I was ok to do without, but just to advise anyone expecting one because it is in the listing. No bottled water was provided either until the following day when I found two bottles had been placed on the porch after I had returned from a dive trip. No coffee was ever provided either. This place is ok just for a place to sleep and shower. The setting is nice and is in the jungle and has beautiful scenery. I was able to rent a motorbike very easily from the owner as well.
• Keith (9/5): Superb - Nice little hut and owner very friendly. The location is not next to a nice beach, but you can access one about ten minutes walk away. Great if you have a moto.
• Markus (9/5): cosy detached bungalows in a natural tropical garden - nice small bungalow with very silent and good working air-conditioning. Lovely and friendly elderly lady at "reception" also rents scooters. All great. Garden could be a bit cleaned up, but not a problem
• Tanyanan (9/5): comfortable house - Cleanliness, wide room, quiet , the sink outside the bathroom, big balcony with chairs, table, kettle n coffee. The owner, Khun Waen takes care of it himself. Very attentive, he also has a motorbike for rent with a reasonable price. The mattress and pillows are a bit hard.
• Kotryna (9/5): Superb - We have been to Koh Kood for the second time and we know that this is an expensive island. We were looking for something with good AC, a good location and we were on a budget. It is a very simple bungalow, far from a resort or hotel. The owners do not speak great English but they do their best to help you. We rented a motorbike really quickly - the owner helped us with that. Again, before booking, please understand - it is a simple bungalow that has everything you would need to sleep and relax. I would suggest the owners add more background lighting - like a lamp for the night, this would definitely upgrade the stay.
• François (10/5): Exceptional - Simplicity of the set up, enough room, cheerful color, quiet AC, despite looks like it is surrounded by swamp, no bugs! Bridge is new and solid At first we didn't know where the office was, not totally clear. When we found it, the owner was super nice and friendly.
• Thorsten (6/5): Overall good location which could be improved without too much effort - From the bungalow you can reach walking either the small free beach or the one from the resort (if you order something to drink or eat you get access to their beach). Some restaurants are as well 3-5 min walking distance. You can rent a scooter directly from the resort and discover the whole island. The location is pretty good, as you can reach pretty fast the nicest beaches. We got two bottles of water and something sweet every morning. The communication is difficult, as the elderly woman who helped us doesn’t speak English but at the end we found a way :) The bungalow is pretty basic and the facilities already old (nothing negative, as we saw the pictures when we booked) but the chaos around it doesn’t have any „excuse“. The bed is really hard but after two nights you still have a hole in the mattress in the spot where you slept. The pillows are hard and high so we got some neck pain. The bathroom is big, but showering everything will get wet, as there is no shower curtain and the shower itself is fixed high.

• Vecihe (2/5): Beautiful island, rude & incompetent owner - Close to nice small beach, good restaurants, small super market. We asked for boiled eggs in the morning and this request was accommodated, of course we paid for it. The room is somewhat what you see on the photos Problematic internet - there was no connection for 80% of our stay. Bed is very uncomfortable / uneven mattress. - I found communication with the owner problematic. Thai ppl are usually polite, kind, considerate but the owner did not have these values. - When we entered the bungalow, there was no internet. The owner immediately pushed back saying it is a remote island (we did not have any issues elsewhere). - There were 2 towels, no hangers, hair on the floor, stains in the sink & WC. So we asked for these and room to be cleaned properly next time as I already wiped the stains. He pushed back again saying "this is like a friend's house not a luxury hotel" but gave us the towel, wc paper and hangers. We wanted to believe that his English was not good and it was lost in translation due to auto-translate. - He told us cleaning was every 2-3 days upon request. He needed keys to clean so we left him our keys when he asked. The room was cleaned twice in our 1st week, but once in our 2nd week. He also did not ask for keys one time and we found the room cleaned. We did not understand how he entered the room w/o keys? - We wanted to rent a motorbike for 1 day (before, we rented for 3 days). He pushed back saying it is hard to manage since it is 1 day and "people don't do anything like us". Again, we thought it was auto-translate not his rudeness. He was able to rent the bike for 1 day after all. - After 8-9 days of stay, because we asked for toilet paper, he messaged "pls don't throw paper, if it blocks you will be charged". We weren't throwing paper, had no issues, but this was the first time we heard this warning. - The last thing he wrote was that we were always suffering, constantly afraid of little things, we had to let go, stop being afraid, worrying to be happier in life. This was the last tactless comment since I told him not to contact us again.

The bungalows are reached via a small path and a short runway (no handrails, but broad, renovated and stable) Compared to other bungalows we have been in, very spacious, clean and nicely isolated against bugs. Nice location: right across the street is a path to a nice beach. More beautiful beaches in walking distance. Nice seafood restaurant a few steps uproad. Very helpful and polite owner. Maybe a clearer sign to the path to the bungalows, but the owner answered quickly when we texted him.

Helpfull proprietor in Thai language only. Every morning fresh banana's and Nescafe for self service. No mosquito screen in bathroom window. Location is more far away from beach than on Booking.Com map. Mattress have suffered humidity. Very simply furnished.
