I had a lovely terrace with a view on the sea. I much appreciated the cosy breakfast room, it felt like having a meal in a house. It was a short stay, but absolutely pleasant. Nothing to complain about

- Leah (10/5): Our stay was absolutely perfect! - Saga Hotel was without a doubt one of the best hotels myself & my partner have ever stayed in. Zefi went above & beyond for us. It was like being welcomed by family. She made our trip so memorable. We were so sad leaving Poros and moving to another island. We are already planning our trip back! The hotel is within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend renting a scooter or ATV when visiting the island (from Moto Rental Fortis - Poros) The only thing we didn’t like was how little time we had there! We will definitely be returning and staying for longer!

- Carol (9/5): Highly recommend as a place to stay on Poros!! which is a lovely place to visit - The owners and staff at this family-run hotel did everything possible to ease our stay and help us--especially important since I had a foot injury and came with a crutch--for example, came to get us from the ferry with their car. Lovely property with nice pool and room with balcony--we had a family room with room for 4 (but due to last minute sickness were only 3) and the double was upgraded so we could have rooms next to each other (2 more). The location was great, a short walk to the town and close to beaches and starting points for hikes. Lovely rooftop bar, with some food and drink, but also a nice place to sit and enjoy the view, play cards, etc in the evening After being on car-free Hydra, was aware of the sounds of motorbikes, cars etc, but this was no fault of the hotel.

Dinner on rooftop Bar was delicious and combined with the view of Poros and the Peloponnese, it was a pleasant way to spend each evening. We hope to return to Poros, and if we do, we will be staying at the Saga.

Freshly decorated large comfortable bedroom with big balcony overlooking the pool. Nice decor. Modern wet room style bathroom. Very friendly, welcoming owners. Gorgeous new sky bar on top floor with amazing views of Poros. Breakfast eaten by pool terrace. Loved it! Reception frequently unattended as family staff were busy assisting in the hotel. Wet room flooded a little so needed to use towels to mop up Hairdryer didn't work Aircon didn't work was told the electrician had wired it incorrectly

- Heinz-Theo (8/5): Good Hotel in great location with some room for improvement - Location is nice and quiet at night, pool and rest area were really nice, breakfast is good and offers plenty of choice, rooms were clean and nice with a but... Our room was supposed to be for 4 people, and it got a little tight (probably better for family with small children), the air conditioning didn't get the temperature down (Hotel Saga became Hotel Sauna) - I heard another guest complaining about it and she was told that there were electrical problems...well, didn't change the facts. All in all, I felt that the owners/staff (couldn't tell the difference) were not as engaging as other reviews indicated...too bad

Nice little pool, very clean, a supermarket and a beach just across the street. Town was a bit far, but good for a nice evening walk. Construction works next door, noise started at 7 am and went on until the late afternoon. Younger staff not too friendly, could use a lesson in hospitality from the older staff members.

- Jussi (9/5): Todella kiva perhehotelli hyvällä paikalla ja erinomaisella palvelulla - Siisti hotelli rauhallisella alueella kävelymatkan päässä kaupungista. Palvelu oli ensiluokkaista ja kaikki toimi hienosti. Allasalue on mukavan pieni ja rauhallinen ja kattoterassilta avautuu upeat maisemat.

- Phoebe (8/5): This is a lovely hotel on a quaint little island that is truly a getaway from the madness. - We loved our stay here. The staff were amazing, the pool was relaxing and beautiful, the rooftop terrace was a wonderful place to have dinner and end the day while looking over Poros. The hotel is walking distance to the port, and an even shorter walk to Kamani Beach, where you can catch a beautiful sunrise. We rented bikes and then a quad from Kostas, just down the hill. This made island exploration a blast. On our second night, there was live music on the terrace, which was lively and enjoyable. The food was delicious. It was difficult to get comfortable in the room temperature-wise. The AC turned off automatically when we went out to the deck, so in order to keep the room cool, we had to have the deck door locked. The temperature was difficult to get right. It took a long time to cool the room and then it got so cold, we needed a blanket - but didn't have blankets in the room. We asked for one on our second day, but never got it. I know we should have slept the windows open, but my partner is sensitive to noise.
