They give you top (very tasty) food spots and tourist spots, and then go on to book your return taxi. The service supplied made our stay very easy. Location was great, right in the heart of the hanok village of Jeonju. Would highly recommend this stay.

• Lis Merrit (10/5): - Samlockhon is a beautiful hanok and the host was very kind. He gave us many recommendations for restaurants and what to do and see in Jeonju. He also brought us a delicious breakfast early as we had to catch a train and called a taxi for us. Unfortunately we only had one day in Jeonju but we would recommend staying longer. Thank you so much for this lovely stay!

Bagno piccolo ma attrezzato, vari spazi disponibili per allargare i futon. Oste molto accogliente e disponibile ad offrire informazioni e a dare suggerimenti. Semplice ma gustosa colazione offerta al mattino.

The owner helped us to clean the luggage wheels before putting them in the unit, this shows how much he cares about the hanok. He also provided explanations about major attractions and food options in the surrounding. The next morning, simple traditional breakfast was kindly provided. Facility wise - we liked that there was water dispenser in the unit, toilet looks newly renovated and very clean. Nothing - we hoped we could stay longer.

• Gabrielle (7/5): - Le monsieur de l’hôtel nous a ramener à la gare car on ne peut pas prendre le bus ou le taxi avec des valises. Quand on est arrivé dans la ville avec le car on a pas pu prendre le bus ni le taxi. On a appelé l’hôtel mais malheureusement le quartier de Jeonju était fermé à la circulation. On a dû marcher une heure avec nos valises.

He made us a traditional breakfast the following morning and kindly offered to call us a taxi. The shower was quite difficult to use but this is to be expected within these traditional homes.

It was a wonderful encounter, and an exceptional place - If we could have given 6 stars out of 5, we absolutely would! The house was spotless, beautiful, and very comfortable, with a lovely and peaceful outdoor area. The location, right in the heart of the Hanok Village, was simply incredible, everything was within walking distance and the atmosphere was amazing. Breakfast was a wonderful surprise, both delicious and full of care. Our host welcomed us warmly and took the time to show us on a map all the best places to visit, eat, and have coffee nearby, every recommendation was perfect! Nothing

The futon bedding was just so uncomfortable ( very hard) , the sheet over the duvet minimal and the rooms not sound proof at all. For young happy girls chatting all night long. The bathroom too is a toilet/ shower all in one ( like a campervan). The host was friendly and the location is super central.

• Graeme (10/5): Highlight of our trip. - This Hanok really made our stay in Jeonju special, the rooms are quite generous considering. We had a larger room for a family of four which had a loft style bed. Our host was very pleasant, he gave us tips on all the traditional restaurants to try and other special foods. The rooms are very quiet, you will get a good night sleep here.

Ottima colazione coreana offerta e servita direttamente in camera. Il bagno è alla coreana, quindi molto piccolo e senza uno spazio separato per la doccia. Avevamo una camera con i futon, che possono risultare scomodi a chi non è abituato.

The house and room are beautiful and it was a great experience. We got a traditional breakfast delivered to the room and the kitchen has water to refill your bottles.

Al llegar nos dejó que nos acomodaramos para después explicarnos con detalle qué visitar y una variedad de restaurantes. Nis recomendó un restaurante de Gimbap delicioso 😋 El hanok estaba muy limpio y contaba con todo tipo de detalles para hacer nuestra estancia muy especial: sábanas limpias que olian muy bien, pequeña cocina con vajilla y electrodomésticos, baño con facilidades como gel o champú. Climatizado. El almuerzo delicioso nos fue servido respetando nuestra hora de partida y nos organizaron el taxi que debía recogernos.

They provided maps and recommendations to sites and restaurants, and woke up very early (5:30am!) the day of our check-out to help get us a taxi to go to the train station. It is a very cute place and it was a very good stay. The only small inconvenience is that the bathroom is a single space with the toilet and shower, so once you took a shower, the bathroom was wet. However, they did provide slippers to get around that.

• Melissa (10/5): Exceptional - Samlockhon Hanokstay had an amazing location right in the middle of the hanok village in Jeonju so it was walking distance to everything. We had taken public transit to the hanok village from the Jeonju train station and the owner of the stay kindly offered to book a taxi for us back to the train station which was immensely helpful. We stayed in the room that had space for 4 people as it was the only one available during our stay and it was incredibly beautiful on the interior with hanging lamps/chimes that sounded amazing with the AC wind hitting them. The room was spacious, clean, had a kitchen with a sink and beautiful hand-made plates and cups, a cold water dispenser (which was awesome!), a dining table. Breakfast was a nice simple meal with some fruit, a black sesame dessert soup/drink, tomatoes, and Korean rice cake with bean powder, and a cup of coffee. The stay is right next to a cafe with several more cafes and restaurants down the street so there's plenty of options around. The only thing I didn't like as much was the choice of bed sheets, they felt very synthetic and it made sleeping a bit uncomfortable because it would just trap the heat in. If they were made of cotton or linen, I think it'd make this place pretty much perfect.

The location was right in the heart of the Hanok village and walking distance to all the highlights of the town. The best part of the stay was the owners of the property. Extremely welcoming and showed us a bunch of food recommendations when we arrived, served us a delicious Korean breakfast and booked us a taxi the morning we needed to leave. It was a public holiday so the main streets were closed off to cars but this lovely man walked us a whole block to make sure we're able to reach our taxi. Incredible service and kindness.

• Helen (10/5): Clean, cozy hanok with great service - Great hanok B&B that is very conveniently located within Hanok village, within walking distance to all major sights. The hotel was very clean and comfortable (great sleep after a long bus ride from Seoul)! The breakfast was simple but delicious with a traditional porridge, rice cake, coffee and fruit. The owner was very kind, funny and helpful - not only did he give us fantastic restaurant recommendations and general tips on exploring the city, but he also helped us arrange transportation to our next destination (quite remote) and even contacted our host to help with navigation. We felt very comfortable and happy here and recommend you choose this hanok to explore Jeonju as well! N/A
• Teresa (10/5): - Der Betreiber war unfassbar nett und hat uns super Tipps gegeben, was man alles unternehmen kann und wo man super essen kann. Der Hanok war super sauber, das traditionelle “Bett” ist wenn man harte Matratzen mag ein Traum und alles wirklich rund herum top. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten.
