• Cindy (10/5): Large, beautifully appointed apartment in the heart of old town. - This apartment is stunningly beautiful. I could have stayed forever. The location is wonderful. We enjoyed having drinks on the balcony in the afternoon. I was fortunate enough to meet the owner who is absolutely delightful and explained the history of this beautiful apartment. Elegant and comfortable...feels like home. - Casa Kallergi's location was exceptional: in Old Town but a quiet narrow pedestrian-only street with only a few restaurants and shops, yet close enough to walk to the center of everything. Our room was wonderful...luxe, roomy, and very clean, thanks to Mrs. Loume who came to clean every day for the 4 days we were there. It was very quiet too, save for the faint jazz music that floated in through the open balcony doors...lovely. The kitchen was fantastic and had anything you'd ever need. I'd stay again in a heartbeat. It's a drag to have to haul your bags 200 yards from the 'free parking' lot because it's a pedestrian-only street, but I guess if you want a quiet street, that's the price you pay. Btw, as of March 15, 2026, the city of Chania now charges (1 Euro/hr) to park in their lots. I hope the listing on Booking.com is changed to reflect that, so one understands what they're truly paying to stay there. Lucky for us they hadn't activated the parking payment machine yet. Also, no elevator but it's only one flight up.

• Jonathan (9/5): Fantastic room with a lovely balcony to sit and enjoy the morning sun. Would 100% stay again. - Fantastic room with a large bathroom. The room is very well appointed, comfy bed and they provided beach towels. House keeper came in everyday to clean and she was lovely. Nothing, best place I’ve stayed in Chanda Old Town.

Located in a cozy central area with plenty of restaurants and cafes around. Loved this place! Can't fault anything!

Note: the red light means it's on! We chose this room because we had a car, and the site said there was parking. The parking is public and very crowded (but it is close by), and we could not find parking there.

Ottima la posizione gli arredi sono di classe ed è molto pulito . Vedere le lenzuola per il cambio che provengono dalla lavanderia, in sacchi di plastica e quelli della biancheria dismessa, a terra ,all'ingresso.Capisco le esigenze per gestire la pulizia delle camere ma è veramente un brutto vedere.
• DAMASKINI (8/5): Ευχάριστη, θα ξαναερχόμασταν. - Ήταν πεντακάθαρο και με άνετο κρεβάτι και μαξιλάρια. Είχε σεσουάρ, σίδερο και μαλακές πετσέτες και μπουρνούζια. Μεγάλη ντουζιέρα και ωραίο μπάνιο. Ενθουσιαστήκαμε με τον χώρο. Δεν υπήρχε υπηρεσία μεταφοράς αποσκευών και μέσα στην πόλη ειδικά με το πλακόστρωτο δυσκολευτήκαμε αρκετά με τις αποσκευές μας, βεβαίως δεν αναφερόταν κάποια τέτοια υπηρεσία, αλλά θα ήταν πραγματική χρήσιμη για την τοποθεσία που βρίσκεται το κατάλυμα. Δεύτερον και σημαντικό για μας ήταν πως δεν υπήρχε κάποιο μπουκάλι νερό στο ψυγείο και κατά την άφιξη μας, κουρασμένοι και μες την τόση ζέστη έπρεπε να αναζητήσουμε πλησιέστερο κατάστημα. Ευτυχώς υπάρχει ακριβώς από κάτω και αυτό δεν μας δυσκόλεψε. Τρίτον και κυριότερον που δυστυχώς ήταν πρόβλημα για εμάς, ήταν πως δεν υπήρχε κάποιο μπατζουρι και η κουρτίνα ήταν λευκή. Από νωρίς το πρωί έμπαινε όλο το φως του ήλιου στο δωμάτιο και ξυπνούσαμε.

• Timrod (10/5): - Great place to stay in Old Town. Very close to many options for dining and shopping. Host was very responsive. Check in was a breeze. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, but we managed well for early May.
• Shorena (10/5): Stunning! - I loved everything about this property. Photos don’t do justice, you just need to book and experience it. It is spacious, beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, spotlessly clean and in great location. The room we had was called Ariadne and I would highly recommend it:) The communication with the host was easy, we felt welcomed and cared. This was not a problem for us, but I would mention for those guests with mobility issue. The property has no lift and if walking up the stairs (2nd floor) could be an issue for you, then this gorgeous property may not be a right one for you.

Only draw back is road is pedestrian only and parking, when available, is 2 blocks away at public lot. If that lot is full, need to find somewhere on nearby roads.

Comfortable beds. Loved the balcony with a water view! Excellent communication from the host After a long hot day of travel, complimentary water in the fridge would have been welcomed. Also having two keys would be beneficial so that if one person leaves the apartment, the lights and aircon can stay on.

Even hair/bath products qere of a high quality & good size. Location was brilliant. Lovely balcony with a street & sea view. Very clean & luxury feel of 5*, spacious. A bit tricky getting to the 2nd floor with suitcases. Narrow & steep stairs, but expected in historic properly. Definitely would recommend this place!

• Karen (10/5): Great location, lovely room, wonderful time! - The location is superb. You are right on one of the quaint streets - one street away from the harbor. It was quiet yet very close to lots of activity. The staff are helpful and friendly. We were able to check in early which was helpful for us. The room is clean and nice. The little balcony was a bonus. We ate our breakfast pastries there. There is parking right down the street. We were able to find parking there easily, but I can see it might be a challenge in the summer. Chania is a beautiful little town that is very enjoyable. If you're staying here soon, we had difficulty finding the property because the property next door is under renovation and the sign for Casa Kallergi is covered with their construction cloth. That's the only negative I can think of!
• Clive (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location within the walls of the old city, but not too busy or noisy. The apartment was well fitted out with quality fittings and a very comfortable stay. We would be happy to stay here again if we return to Chania Parking close by wasn't always easy, but not surprising as we had to park outside the old city. Nothing that the accommodation can do about that
• Philip (10/5): - We have stayed at Casa Kallergi several times over recent years. Ariadne is a perfect host and the apartment is spotlessly clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated and well equipped. This stay was in February, so little of the old town was open for business, making walking the tiny streets interesting and crowdless. Out of season there are numerous building works going on in the area, there was a little occasional drilling noise but nothing too aggravating and mostly of short duration. We have stayed during the tourist season and building work is usually at a minimal then. The apartment is in easy walking distance of the harbour, old and new town. No traffic in the street outside, but free parking reasonably nearby (3-5 minutes walk away).

It would have been great to have a lift as we have a little baby, but none of the properties in the old town have lifts!

We coordinated our arrival by text, and were welcomed with our bags carried up the two flights of stairs to our gorgeous, well equipped, large and comfortable apartment. Spotlessly clean on arrival and maintained that way during our stay. Highly recommended. Nothing

Charming location, in the heart of Chania, right next to shops, restaurants ect, but the room was nice and quiet. The information book in the room had great tips on where to visit and eat.

What a gorgeous location - minutes from the Venetian Harbour, right in the heart of beautiful pedestrian streets lined with restaurants and shops. Clean, lovely, comfortable apartment with the cutest balcony. Full kitchen. We absolutely loved our time in Chania and Casa Kallergi.
