• Jeannot (9/5): Ich habe mich richtig wohl gefühlt und würde es sicher weiterempfehlen. - Sehr gutes Frühstück. Das Abendessen war auch sehr lecker, top Küche und guten Wein. Sollte ich noch einmal in diese schöne Gegend zurückkehren, werde ich sicherlich noch mal in Hebsack beim "Lamm" einkehren.

• Martin (10/5): - Ich schreibe sonst keine Bewertungen hier schon: Ich reise viel und quer durch Deutschland. Aber ein solch nettes, gemütliches und familiäres Hotel habe ich noch nicht erlebt. Keine aufgedrängte, sondern echte Freundlichkeit. Ich empfehle unbedingt, dass direkt anliegende Restaurant zu besuchen!! Von der Vorspeise bis zum Nachtisch, vom Helfer bis zum Kellner: unglaublich nett, lecker und garantiert eine Wiederholung wert!

• Reinhard (8/5): Bodenständiges Hotel, super Restaurant und schwäbisches Flair. - Ich war eine Nacht auf Geschäftsreise im Lamm-Hebsack. Die Anreise ist komfortabel, es gibt Parkplätze direkt vor dem Haus und hinter dem Haus. Die Rezeptionistin war flott, höflich und hatte eine recht natürliche Ausstrahlung (finde ich immer schön, im Gegensatz zu mechanisch geschulter Freundlichkeit). Mein Zimmer machte einen sehr neuwertiger Eindruck, hell und freundlich. Das geräumige Bad war tadellos sauber und sehr gut geschnitten, nicht zu klein, nicht zu groß. Das Hotel liegt an einer Durchfahrtsstraße im Ort, aber ich bekam auf Wunsch ein Zimmer in ruhiger Lage zur Rückseite hin. Schön finde ich auch immer, wenn eine Bibel im Zimmer in guter christlicher Tradition liegt. Die indirekte Beleuchtung hinter dem Bett ist eine tolle Idee, macht ein schönes Licht. Eine kleine Minibar gibt es neben der Rezeption, mit Möglichkeit, Snacks und Drinks zu kaufen (Selbstbedienung). Das ist vermutlich die schwäbische Effizienz, da muß dann nicht immer jede einzelne Mini-Bar im Zimmer bestückt und kontrolliert werden. Ist aber absolut OK. Ein Highlight des Hotels fand ich das Restaurant, das ist extra erwähnenswert. Ein sehr lebhaftes und stilvoll eingerichtetes Restaurant, an das Hotel angeschlossen. Selbst unter der Woche ist es gut besucht gewesen. Preislich leicht gehoben, aber keinesfalls abgehoben. Die absolut professionelle Servicemannschaft war sehr auf Zack, die arbeiten zusammen, wie ein Uhrwerk. Man wird am Tisch von mehreren Personen bedient, unaufdringlich und sehr aufmerksam. Dieses Team ist echt top-geführt. Genauso wie die Küche, das Essen war schneller am Tisch als, man Guten Appetit sagen kann und es schmeckte wirklich. Die Servicechefin (oder sogar Chefin des Hauses?), ist sichtbar und zu Recht stolz auf Ihre Gerichte und bemüht sich aufrichtig um das Wohlergehen der Gäste. Die Gerichte sind pfiffig, ohne aber den Bezug zur schwäbischen Küche zu verlieren. Eine absolute Empfehlung, auch wenn man nicht im Hotel wohnt. Der Teppich im Treppenhaus zu den Zimmern ist ziemlich abgenutzt und sieht fast schon schäbig aus. Das spiegelt nicht die Qualität des Hotels wieder und ist schade für den guten Gesamteindruck des Hauses. Die komischerweise ziemlich kurzen Treppenstufen (ich dachte immer, dafür gibt es DIN-Normen beim Bau?) sind unkomfortabel zum Laufen, besonders mit Gepäck (sie sind vielleicht aus Platzgründen etwas kleiner ausgefallen?). Aber alternativ gibt es auch einen Aufzug. Für mich, der Ruhe schätzt, war das größte Manko, daß die eigentlich massiven Zimmertüren schlecht gegen Lärm am Flur abgedichtet sind. Man hat dadurch leider ein etwas hellhöriges Zimmer, wenn z.B. im Gang geredet wird oder andere Zimmertüren im Flur auf- und zugehen. Das hört man deutlich. Das große Zimmerlicht macht ein etwas kaltes und steriles Licht im Raum. Es hat beim Einschalten auch zweimal angefangen zu flackern und erst nach wiederholtem Einschalten war das Problem weg. Abends und Morgens hörte man bei geöffneten Fenstern den Betrieb zwischen Restaurant/Hotel und rückseitigem Parkplatz. Aber das läßt sich halt nie ganz vermeiden. Bei geschlossenen Fenstern auch kein Problem. Die Garderobe war oben sehr staubig, da wurde länger nicht gewischt. Für mich sehr untypisch, da die Schwaben ja schon für einen sehr korrekten Hausputz stehen.

• P (4/5): I felt dissapointed with the stay. - THE LOCATION WAS GREAT FOR CYCLING THE GROSSLOCKNER THE DOOR IN THE BATHROOM WOULD NOT CLOSE PROPERLY AND DRAGED ON THE FLOOR. THE CURTAINS WERE NOT WIDE ENOUGH TO COVER THE WINDOW IN THE BEDROOM.
• ForeignObserver2 (6/5): Clean country hotel with few frills - The hotel is located in a very small town to the East of Stuttgart so it is best reached by rental car. There are plenty of free parking spaces surrounding the building though during dinner you will get competition from diners frequenting the restaurant. The ground floor and cellar contains the restaurant and the guest rooms are in the higher storeys. They are large by today’s standards, clean and utilitarian but offer few frills other than small flat screen TV’s. There is no airconditioning and given that the old wooden beams just soak up heat to radiate it back at night a hot summer night is a sweaty affair. Staff is friendly and efficient. W-Lan is free and works in the rooms (though not all dininig areas). Breakfast was included but was a bit of a disapointment (no hot dishes) given that the restaurant is well known in the region. Overall okay for a one night stay but thee are much bettr choices around the Stuttgart airport if you are passing through with a car.
• LarsDane (8/5): Good, but small single room - Staying here one night before a business meeting and was pleasant surprised by the room - although rather small the facilities were fine and the sleep quality excellent. Needless to say that the place was spotlessly clean. A small balcony was just outside the room, with just enough space to accomodate two chairs and a small table. When checking in (my room faced the front) it was brightly illuminated by floodlights at the facade of the hotel, but luckily they were turned off when I went to bed. The place is rather quiet, so I could sleep with the balcony door ajar. Breakfast was excellent with all sorts of hot and cold dishes, freshly baked bread and fresh and hot coffee. The place is very homely and service is great. Recommendable.
• 268milicam (8/5): Pleasant surprise - Really enjoyed my stay there, felt like visiting family, owners will give you all attention as is you are VP, friendly staff, great restorant, rooms clean and comfy, bit outdated in a charming way, almost as stepping back in time. Worth staying, hope you enjoy it.

It feels of 1930 and the personal service received is something you don't get at the chain hotels. It is a beautiful countryside setting and well worth the "out of the way" location if you have reason to be in Stuttgart. Excellent restaurant in the lobby.
• John071 (10/5): Excellent room, quiet. - We were visiting a friend locally and he had booked us in this hotel. We had a room on the top floor. Large, clean, balcony. On Sunday breakfast with salmon and bubbly wine. What a way to start the day. It was so quiet that I was surprised to see so many people at breakfast.
• IrisD745 (10/5): Hidden Gem - Throughout our travels we stay in 4 star rated hotels and we were so pleasantly surprised at the quality of this 3 star hotel. The love and care of the owners is evident in every aspect of this hotel and even though it did not have air-conditioning we would go back. The hotel has a lovely local restaurant, it is a bit expensive but great food. This was a great option for staying in the country side rather than staying in Stuttgardt which is a mere 20 min away and a lot cheaper.
