Guest Reviews
- Robert (10/5): - very cozy and quiet, the facilities are very clean and tidy, the attention is excellent, I recommend it when you visit Ecuador
- David (10/5): - This is a beautiful facility with very friendly staff. There’s plenty of space to relax and enjoy your time there. The management provided excellent before and after our stay communication. Our room had a deck with a hammock and a view of the city, which was lovely at night. Two little issues: 1. The smoke alarm in our room chirped every hour or so. We sent a WhatsApp message about 11pm, but no one ever responded. Luckily we got a good night’s sleep despite that. 2. There was an enticing-looking hot tub on property, but it was empty. However, I don’t think the hot tub was listed as an amenity, so we can’t really complain. The pool was listed as an amenity, and it was heated and clean.
I plan to return next time I’m in the area.
- Bryan (10/5): - This hotel is amazing!! It is absolutely beautiful! Each room has a patio with a hammock and it overlooks the city. It also has a swimming pool and two amazingly sweet dogs. The room is quite spacious and the bathroom has these quality eco friendly products (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap). There is no tv but that wasn’t a big deal to me because we would be out during the day and we come back to sleep at night. I also felt really safe being here because they have this big gate that they close and lock every night.
The staff are also amazingly warm and helpful people. My fiancé forgot his bag in the taxi and they sprung to action and did everything they could to help us. We also got really hungry at night and they tried to dons places that could deliver food to us. It’s not exactly safe to walk around at night.
Overall, I highly highly recommend this place for your stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It’s quiet and peaceful. Staff are friendly. Dogs are are adorable if you love dogs.
- Karen (10/5): Fantastic Place to stay! - Our stay here was amazing. From start to finish, we could not have asked for more. The rooms and grounds were beautiful, the staff helpful and friendly, and their 2 dogs Chavez and Baco delightful. They arranged everything for us, including transportation from the airport very early in the morning, and went out of their way to make our stay perfect. Thank you. If we ever are in Quito again, we will be back.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Small little hostal, very good value for the price. Great views.
- Elisa (2/5): - I could never reach the hotel, when I called to ask for information nobody answered, I had to look for a hotel somewhere else.

- Verified traveler (2/5): - We had a confirmed booking but when we arrived we were told we did not and that they were out of rooms. They then told us they would pick us up from the airport and bring us to a close by hotel they recommended and they never showed.
- Ilana (10/5): - It is very nice property with great view on Quito, very close to airport. Staff is friendly and extremely helpful.
- Sapu (8/5): - La atención de todos fue muy buena. No está en una zona turística.
- elizabeth (10/5): Great value - Perfection!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Convenience. Minutes to the airport. Front desk clerk ver friendly
- Osvaldo (10/5): - Great and clean place just to stop before my destination. I got there at 1:30 am after my fly was delayed and they waited for me to check me in. Also they schedule a ride that waited for me at the airport for $10, while Uber was about $12. The staff is nice and friendly. My only suggestion is to have more fruits options for vegan and gluten allergies. They only had papaya for breakfast.
- Carolina (10/5): Great experience - Lovely employees. Thank you very much for your kindness :)
- Rosie (10/5): Lovely relaxing stay! - Really lovely stay! We booked to stay here for 2 nights after being in the jungle for 4 days, and before leaving Quito. The hotel is so relaxed and we felt completely at home here. Great size room and balcony, lovely pool and jacuzzi. The family that own the hotel are so helpful and welcoming, they have 2 gorgeous friendly dogs as well which we loved! Also couldn’t believe they got up to cook us breakfast at 5:30am on the day we left! The little village centre next to the hotel is lovely too, really nice family run cafes and restaurants.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This is a perfect gem of a place especially if you are looking for a country setting conveniently located near the city. Trees and flowering bushes everywhere, fruit trees heavily laden, green grass, birds flying about and chirping, the sounds of roosters in the morning. The staff is courteous, friendly and very helpful. The on-the-premise restaurant offers delicious fresh fare artistically served. The swimming pool is well maintained and the simple but elegant rooms are immaculate. Ample hot water for the shower and I mean hot! There are a surprsing number of nooks and crannies in this gated space, communal or private depending on your mood. Two friendlky but not bothersome dogs. All in all a great experience and I certainly intend on staying there again when going in and our of Quito.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Hostal Venus de Valdivia is a charming little complex with friendly, helpful hosts. The location is close to the airport yet quiet. We also had a delicious meal at the restaurant. The beds were comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. They also arranged our transport to and from the airport. Overall a great experience. We will be back.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The staff here are friendly and caring. The property is unique, with history, yet updated. The location is perfect, in a smaller community, with broad view of the Quito area and beautiful landscape. It is 15 minutes from the airport, which was our main reason for choice. Though not used during our stay, there is a nice pool, a game room, exercise room, sitting area, TV lounge, etc. There is a nice dining area, and the grounds are beautiful too.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Me encantó el servicio personalizado, el desayuno, los jardines y que tenga piscina, (eso no me lo esperaba)... yo que tengo problemas de espalda, me hizo muy bien relajarme en la piscina.
