• Oliverius3008 (9/5): A well-located hotel in the heart of Thamel, distinguished by its exceptionally attentive staff. - The hotel is located on a quiet side street in bustling Thamel, within easy walking distance of major attractions like Durbar Square (about 20 minutes), as well as restaurants, bars, and shops. My room was very spacious, clean, and had a nice view, the bathroom was clean, and both AC and WiFi worked well. The European-style breakfast is a great way to start the day – and the coffee is excellent. The hotel also offers several tours in and around Kathmandu, but what really makes this place special is the friendly and attentive staff, with special thanks to Rosie for her excellent support during my stay.

One of its biggest advantages is the location: although it is right in the heart of Thamel, it sits on a quiet side street, making it peaceful and silent—something quite rare in that area. The staff is incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything. The breakfast is generous and of excellent quality, offering a great start to the day. For us, this hotel has become a reliable reference point every time we return to Kathmandu. Highly recommended.

Je suis restée plusieurs semaines dont une supplémentaire car mon vol a été annulé suite aux évènements au Moyen-Orient. Rosy et tout le personnel sont d’une grande gentillesse et toujours prêts à vous aider pour quoi que ce soit. Le déjeuner était très bon et varié et les chambres impeccables. On se sent comme à la maison ! Ma chambre se situait côté impasse et la nuit je n’entendais même pas un bruit. L’hôtel est dans le cœur de Thamel mais loin de l’agitation de ce quartier touristique. Vous pouvez aller jusqu’au Durbar Square à pied en traversant le vieux Katmandou, Asan Tole, à 15 minutes seulement, et découvrir ainsi l’architecture Newar. Si je repasse par Katmandou, je n’hésiterai pas à venir les saluer ! Tout était parfait.

• Albert (10/5): Kumari boutique hotel - Отель расположен в тупике тихой улицы, никаких мопедов, машин, шума, очень спокойное место. Номера просторные, лучше выбирать с видом на внутренний двор, в номере есть всё необходимое: фен, гигиеничечкие средства, полотенца, горячая вода постоянно, сейф, шкаф с вешалками, кондиционер, фумигатор со средством от комаров,холодильник, чайник, две бутылки питьевой воды 0,9 л. каждый день, окна открываются. Есть генератор, при отключении электричества, подключается генератор и у вас постоянно есть свет. Персонал очень заботливый, это очень приятно. В первую ночь выяснилось, что матрас продавленный в середине, сообщили об этом сотрудникам, на следующий день нам купили новый матрас, такого сервиса не было нигде. Завтраки вкусные, разнообразие небольшое, но всегда есть что выбрать, еда не острая. В номере есть меню для заказа еды, всё вкусное. Если когда-то соберёмся в Непал ещё раз, обязательно приедем в этот отель! Очень жаль, что не обменялись контактами с девушкой на ресепшен, к сожалению даже имя не спросили, которая поменяла нам матрас и у которой есть мечта попасть во Вриндаван. The room was incredibly comfortable and a nice place to rest after exploring the city. The location was great too, since it was just on the edge of Thamel. It felt less hectic, but it was still close to the action. The biggest asset, however, was the staff. Each person I interacted with was friendly and helpful. When I had an accident and needed help, a staff member offered to pick something up at a pharmacy for me. It was so nice as a tourist to have that kind of support. Everything was great.

• Alex (10/5): I couldn’t recommend a Hotel any higher this one! - The service was top notch! They were helpful with all of the questions I had and had lots of ideas on places to see and visit. The staff was always checking on me to make sure I have everything I need, and asking if my stay was going well. The buffet breakfast is great! The property itself was very clean and well kept. They bent over backwards to help with bag storage, changes in stay dates(stayed there 3x during my month in Nepal). All at a very reasonable price!

Wir konnten für unsere Trekkingtour einen Rucksack mit den Sachen deponieren, den wir nach dem Trek wieder eingesammelt haben. Absolute Empfehlung! Es gibt nichts zu kritisieren...

• Wolfgang (10/5): Kumari Boutique Hotel - Ein Muß in Kathmandu!!! - Die Lage ist sehr zentral in Thamel, aber nicht sehr laut. Das Hotel befindet sich in einem Seitengässchen. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig mit vielen Ablageflächen. Man ist sich überhaupt nicht beengt vorgekommen. Die Betten waren super und wir konnten schlafen wie die Baby`s. Zimmer und Roomservice waren sehr gut. Jeden Tag wurde das Zimmer aufgeräumt und es gab frische Pflegeprodukte. Das Personal, insbesondere die beiden Damen am Empfang sind einfach überragend. Sprechen sehr gut englisch und sind sehr serviceorientiert. Man hätte sie fast knuddeln können. Das übrige Personal war auch wirklich sehr zuvorkommend. Am Hotel gab es eine Veranda, wo man Abends sein Bierchen trinken konnte. Es gab wirklich nichts zu bemängeln und das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis war überragend!

Great location in the center of thamel, but slightly off the main street for a restful stay. Decent breakfast included For the price involved , there is nothing to complain about

• Laurent (8/5): - L'hôtel est central, moderne, relativement calme, et les équipements sont de qualité. On m'a proposé dès mon arrivée un upgrade pour avoir une suite au 5e étage à la place d'une chambre simple, pour le même prix, ce qui a été une bonne surprise. Le petit-déjeuner est un buffet, classique mais très bien. On est à 10/15 mn à pied de Durbar square. L'hôtel est dans une impasse assez étroite, ce qui rend un peu difficile l'accès des taxis. Eviter les chambres au 1er étage et donnant sur cette ruelle, à cause du bruit.

• Aliaksandra (10/5): - Отель нам очень понравился. В номере было чисто и аккуратно, каждый день убирали и меняли полотенца. Было все необходимое. На завтраке яйца приготовят по вашему желанию. Расположение прекрасное, вроде бы и в центре, но улица очень тихая, одну ночь спали с открытым окном и было тихо. Отдельно хочу отметить персонал! Все очень вежливые и гостеприимные и готовы помочь по любому вопросу.

• Monique (10/5): A slice of peace - I stayed at Kumari Boutique Hotel twice during my visit to Nepal and my experience was incredible. The staff are extremely kind, friendly and helpful and felt like family by the end. The rooms and amenities are of high standard and there’s aircon which is a bonus. The food at the restaurant was delicious. Breakfast on the patio was so peaceful. It’s in a very peaceful location and doesn’t feel like the hustle and bustle of thamel is right around the corner. Highly recommend. Will stay here any time I return to Kathmandu! I loved everything

• Dganit (9/5): מקום מומלץ לשהייה בקטמנדו - מלון קטן וחביב, שהינו בו כשהגענו לקטמנדו, וחזרנו אליו ללילה אחרון לפני שעזבנו. צוות מתאמץ מאוד לענות לכל צורך וגם מצליח. ארוחת בוקר מגוונת, עשירה, טעימה. חדרים נוחים עם כל מה שצריך. מיקום מעולה, רחוב שקט מאוד, שתי דקות הליכה ממרכז הטאמל. בפעם הראשונה שהיינו שהינו בחדר שפונה לצד האחורי של המלון, היה ריח של טחב, דברים לא התייבשו. חדר האמבטיה היה פחות נוח. השארנו במלון מזוודה לימים של הטרק, תפסה ריח חזק של טחב. בקשו חדר שפונה לחזית, האוורור טוב יותר והמקלחת טובה יותר. (הרחוב ממש שקט)

• Hans Jürgen (9/5): - Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die zentrale und dennoch ruhige Lage sehr gut. Eigentlich war alles zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Gutes Frühstück-- Landestypisch und Western Style. Die Bäder sind gut und sauber, könnten aber mal wieder saniert werden.
