Couverture qui ne sentait pas bon , literie pas de première fraîcheur Salle de bain un vieux bout de savon et pas de rouleau de papier toilette..4 feuilles Pas de petit déjeuner alors que c'était annoncé dans booking.com.. Publicité mensongère Et le clou le dîner. Je ne l'aurai même pas donné à mon chien..donc je n'ai pas mangé Je devais y rester 2 nuits . J'ai passé la deuxième nuit ailleurs dans Haputale..je n'ai même pas demandé qu'il me rembourse Endroit à fuir

Dominic (8/5): - The location is good and within easy walking distance of all of the shops and restaurants, and bus station of the town. You can also go on walks into the mountains from their location. The owners are very kind, and the rooms are in their own home. it is modest accommodation at a budget price. They’re very helpful. One night when my scooter was parked in a location that was not ideal, the owner came and got my key from me and moved my scooter to a better location. Good people:)

Ashwani (10/5): Perfect location and warm host - We had a lovely stay at Lakshan View Resort in Haputale. The location is very convenient, just a short walking distance from the railway station. Lakshan was so thoughtful in giving us two rooms right in front of each other since we were traveling with kids and my mum, which made everything much easier. His hospitality was excellent – he even carried our bags upstairs with a big smile. Lakshan’s mother is also a very kind lady, and together they create such a welcoming and homely atmosphere. What we appreciated most was the balance: they let us enjoy our stay peacefully without any disturbance, but were always available whenever we needed something. A truly comfortable and heartwarming stay – highly recommend Lakshan View Resort to families visiting Haputale!

The garden is gorgeous and a very cute place to sit.the location is also nice, close to the train and in the middle of town. The night was very noisy because the room gives on to a busy street and could hear and feel the train so it was difficult to sleep.

The Host Lakshan & His Mother is amazing. Caring and attentive yet they respect your privacy. The room is very clean with clean blankets and towels. The room has nice view. Bathroom is very clean and with hot water. I would Highly recommend this place.. All the best to Lakshan , one of the nicest hosts I met.

The break first was good with an amazing view over the misty mountains, Too bad we couldn't stay longer because we had to catch our train early in the morning.

Lilly (7/5): Good - Nice and cozy bed. The room was fine, everything clean. When I arrived there were problems with my room and I couldn’t check-in at the check-in time that is said on booking. I got my room way later, I think at 16:00 or so. First he wanted to give me a room that was obviously not cleaned yet. I warned him to cancel and write a bad review and then he gave me a room that seemed cleaned. It was weird. The owner made me feel a little uncomfortable as a young female solo traveller. He took fotos of me sitting on his terrace (which was ok for me but a bit weird) and also he tried to pressure me to write a good review on booking all the time I was there which I didn’t like at all. I always write honest reviews and I will write it whenever I want.

Even you can get a scooty at low rent price compared to the bike rent shops, if u have a day to spare here. The road along the tea plantation and stopping at the road side to have an aroma of pure tea makes your your stay in Haputhale a worthwhile.
