- Ingrid (9/5): - De locatie, direct aan het strand. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Hele goede bedden.

- Joe (9/5): Loved the hotel, little sanctuary. - Clean, pretty, good coffee, calm space Location, fish smell outside
- Beatriz (8/5): -

- Sjaak&Roosje (8/5): Charmimg Seaside hotel/hostel - Charming seaside hostel with hotel-accomodation and adjacent Jungle Restaurant. Relaxed accomodation and probably the most chill spot in Anza. The breakfast was really terrific and the crew very friendly. The room was a bit less spacious then expected ( based on the pictures ) and although it was a good room/vibe it felt a bit more hostel-like then boutique-hotel like...The reception was not permanently manned, so it ws difficilt to approach some-one when having questions ( towels missing and wifi didn't work during 3 days --> alternative was to sit at the Jungle Cafe ).
- darellis (10/5): - L’ambiance.
- Joern (9/5): Ich komme gern wieder!

- Evgeny (10/5): - A wonderful hotel, like a true oasis in the middle of the village. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was beautiful with an amazing sunset view, and the breakfasts were absolutely delicious. The staff was very kind and welcoming. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Personeel was allesbehalve behulpzaam.
- Tamina (9/5): -
- Marlena (10/5): Thank you all, you make this place so special, will be back , loads of love xx - What a gem...What I just found? My Thor , a fantastic place , people , ambience <3

- tobybaumgartner (8/5): - great place to chill and find community. great coffee in the same building. the village is very local, lot of local tourists around at the beach, nothing bad i think just good to know.
- Hamza (10/5): -
- Islam (10/5): Perfect place with amazing staff and great vibes! - Absolutely perfect place to stay , whether you’re looking to relax or enjoy activities like surfing 🏄! The staff is truly amazing. I’d honestly rate this place 11/10!
- Siham (10/5): Exceptional - I enjoyed the hotel a lot as a female solo traveller I felt home. The breakfast was amazing and had lovely talks with the other clients and staf. chaima thank you for taking care of me. Nourdin and the other security guard where so helpfull, they treaded me like a sister. I loved the rooftop, sunset view, the calm and clean room. The sunup. The cleaning staf where so lovely and friendly. For the beach I went to taghazout and loved it. There is a beach in front of the hotel you can enjoy.Next to the hotel there are shops to get snacks food fresh fish, soup (harira). I had a car to get myself located to the beach, and driving in agadir was good. There are police stops everywhere so watch your speed. Safety first! You can enjoy classes at the hotel and it is the best hotel in the area.
- Alex (8/5): Blue Waves Anza - The surf house has a nice vibe and our private room had a great view. All areas were clean and tidy with a large communal area if you wanted to socialise.
Most of the staff were really friendly and helpful, Chaima and Nouddine particularly! Anza beach unfortunately had a lot of litter and was really busy during our trip. The neighboring beaches were a lot cleaner and more pleasant.
Blue Waves breakfast was average and the service from some staff members was very poor when asking for cups and cutlery which was disappointing. The Jungle Cafe adjacent however, did offer more food/drink options but you had to pay extra for all of this.
- Larouche (6/5): Hotel price for hostel service - I love the fact that the house is beach front and that local women made very good breakfast for the guest every morning.
Did not like the fact that it gets very loud at night with the cafe downstairs. Not very good service from the reception boy. I had a problem with my room the first night (a cat clearly pissed on the bed and the room smelled terrible) and when I adressed it to him he kind of laughed at me and did not take me seriously so I had to deal with it on my own. For the price I would exepct better consideration of their guests.
- Jo (9/5): Superb -
- Sophie (7/5): We won’t be returning despite very nice staff. - Bedroom and dining area and roof top Very good breakfast. Located in the most awful area.
Near to sardine and tuna factories.
Beach was full of rubbish and rubble.
Shared shower was not clean.
WC bucket was disgusting without a lid.
- Yasmina (8/5): Nice place to enjoy surfing - View
Terrasse Room a bit small
The place is more like a hostel but with hotel fare
- Sven (8/5): Great place for the group. - Nice Beach, great place for surfing. Breakfast. Noise from the neighbors. Not soundproof doors in the room.
- Clare (6/5): Only go for the surf lessons which looked fun Not much to do there if you don’t surf - A nice little hostel set in a very grotty area The area it was in
- Chia (7/5): Good - Clean and great location Cost of room was high for facilities with shared bathrooms
- Megan (10/5): Perfect Beachside Hostel for Surfing and Relaxing. Loved it! - By far, the most amazing hostel I have ever stayed at! We were welcomed by really friendly and helpful staff throughout our stay and the hostel was beautiful. It was very modern and clean and the terrace looking over the sea was an incredible bonus. Loved the breakfast and the option to surf / yoga each day. The hostel is right next to a lovely restaurant with great food, lovely staff and cool vibe to chill by the beach. Would highly recommend Blue waves to anyone who wants a great hostel to surf and chill in. The hostel also helped us order taxi's to Tamraght and Taghazout for reasonable price (10 mins down the road and has more options for food / shops / beaches) but the surfing in Anzar beach is really good and the local town is really charming and authentic. Thank you so much for having us and making us feel at home for a few days!
- Lourdes (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wojtek (9/5): Superb - Great localization, super nice breakfest. Totally reccomend! Loud on the night, this is however no the host foult.
- Emily (10/5): Amazing!! We will be back - The best stay! Can’t recommend blue waves enough. The staff made the stay so special putting on traditional dinners for us. In a great spot right on the beach. Everything about the place is beautiful. Nothing
- Lourdes (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charlotte (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mohamed (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sander (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mellanie (5/5): It was okay but very noisy - It was a nice place , the rooms were nice and the café next to the accommodation was super cute We couldn’t sleep because of the noise.. it was so noisy and they did construction next to the hotel. Even de dogs barking kept us up all night. The staff was not very friendly and the surf lessons were expensive so we took them some were else.
- Celine (8/5): Very good -
- Tracy (7/5): Fab place for surf enthusiastic, lovely vibe for young surfers and great food - Lovely property great sea view Great place if you are 20-30 and a young Surf dude but not the place for a 55 to 60 year old none surfer on a holiday as nothing else locally apart from surfing and yoga.
- Alina (8/5): All good but not our fave - The cafe downstairs is really nice and the staff super friendly. The room was clean. The bathroom was not nice. It’s an open space to the hallway/staircase with no privacy at all.
We booked a double room (looks spacious online) and we were given that room but with an extra bed inside (so triple room). So it was really tight and not that comfy in the end.
Also we didn’t like that the surflessons were super expensive especially compared to other hostels/hotels in Morocco. (You can ofc prevent it easily by booking lessons outside of the hostel where it costs less than half the price.)
- Nabil (6/5): Correct ! - I like that the location, the staff working and the vibe I didn’t like that noise during night. They seem to not be able to maintain a calm during night
- Mykhailo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cynthia (4/5): Average - The location and the staff super friendly and welcoming at all times. There is no clear information about the bathroom being shared, after checking properly we saw it written in a small corner but normally it should show in the main paragraph so people knows what to expect instead of having unpleasant surprises.
- Claire (10/5): Amazing place and staff that make you feel just like home - Great place, we felt like home for a week… a special thank to the whole team for their availability and for welcoming us in Anza like friends and family. We hope to be back very soon! We wish other guests when coming in groups of friends were more inclusive during activities and meals (we actually share tables) as it is the purpose of this place and it can feel a bit uncomfortable for solo or couple guests.. but we of course understand that it is not really in the hands of the staff :)
- Matthew (9/5): Great relaxing surf break - Great roof terrace, excellent food, friendly staff A little more storage space in the room
- Elia (9/5): Superb -
- Wendy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dieke (9/5): Beautiful people, beautiful views - The Blue Wave boys & girls became like family to me. They’re so incredibly kind, funny and patient (when it came to my bad surfing skill). The place and location are absolutely beautiful. Will be back for sure! 🫶🏽
- Karolina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Samuel (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful views and nice and clean Bathroom was separate from the room as it is a hostel.
- Mariona (9/5): Superb - The calm and chill, the decoration and the breakfast😍
- Paula (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thabit (9/5): Superb - Everything was top ..
Top service , top view , top food , top staff ..
I really had fun there and didn’t want to leave .. :(
I highly recommend it .. :)
- Rachel (4/5): Loud, smelly, industrial area - Staff was very nice and even moved his car for me. The downstairs restaurant was very cute and the breakfast was great on the terrace. Not sure if it was worth 9 euro though. Very loud location with fair and music going on next door until late. Then in the morning the setting of breakfast and movement of chairs. Other rooms on second floor may be less noisy. I was hoping for a more quiet stay but I just wished I had stayed in tagazout or essouira. The location did not seem safe and was very smelly. I could hardly stand to walk on the street. The area was very industrial and the beach was not that nice.
- Carmen (8/5): Great - There were influencers staying at the same time as us and they had preferred treatment over us, they once went somewhere else surfing and they took most of the surfing equipment and instructors so we didn’t have for our class. And this is only an example
- Taoufik (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pilar (10/5): Amazing place and people! -
- Borja (10/5): Exceptional -

- Belkouch (8/5): Surf, healthy food, relaxation: a rejuvenating harmony for mind and body - "I had a wonderful stay at this hostel! The location was perfect, and the staff was absolutely fantastic. They were friendly, and made me feel right at home , I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for making my stay so enjoyable!"
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - Really nice place with surf vibe. Tasty food, joga classes and surf lessons - everything which I expected. Personel was nice and helpful. Clean room. When you would like to meet a lot of inspiring people, chilling and surfing - you have to choose these place :)
- Melissa (6/5): Great for a short stay in Agadir with an amazing location and great food - Beautiful location right on the beachfront, amazing fresh food and friendly staff The wording around the private rooms on the website is misleading as they do not have private bathrooms. These are shared with three other rooms including a dormitory so plenty of people are using them.
- Francois (10/5): Exceptional - best surf house on the coast ! 🫶🏽
- D (10/5): Exceptional -
- Victoria (10/5): my great first experience at mixed room - The place was amazing! From de exoctic and beautiful decor, confort, amazing views, friendly staff, wonderful vibe of the owers, staff and guests, to the authentic great dinners and breakfast with the other guests of so many diffent kind of nationalities. I realy felt at home:)) The great decor of the place and amazing vibe of the owner, staff and guest, and the great confort of my bed and room

- Rob (6/5): Pleasant -
- Emma (10/5): can’t wait to come back! - super fun and helpful staff, great location for surf, house was always clean and nice food. will deffo be staying again n/a
- Meah (6/5): A pleasant stay but not a pleasant sleep. - When arriving at the hotel, the receptionist was welcoming and friendly.
The view of the beach was lovely, and there were some cheap and cheerful cafes around. The en suite was lovely, and we were able to enjoy a relaxing shower. The bed was comfortable, and the black out curtains were great for the room.
The terrace was also a lovely touch - the view of the beach was brilliant, and it was a relaxing area to catch a bit of sun. The decor on the terrace was also beautiful. Unfortunately, we did not sleep well. There were some loud noises during the night, which sounded like somebody was dragging furniture and dropping large objects. It would go silent for a bit but then would start again, meaning our sleep was broken.
We were also woken up at 6am each morning by the sounds of hammers and what sounded like tools being dropped and dragged along the concrete flooring. It was not stated on booking.com that there was any building work taking place. For the price we paid for the room, this was unacceptable, as sleep is an important aspect when booking a hotel/hostel.
The area itself was lovely, but it was not easy to get into Agadir. There were also times when there was nobody in the reception area. Perhaps some information and price details at the reception on the buses/taxi would be useful for the future, especially for solo travellers. We spent an hour and a half walking into Agadir due to no transport information.
As a female, I felt quite uncomfortable when walking around, as I had a lot of men stare at me- even when I was wearing a jumper, jeans, and trainers.
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Maria (9/5): amazing hospitality and views of the ocean - super friendly and helpful staff, very cozy interior and amazing rooftop terrace. the breakfast was great too. the walls were a little thin so at times it could be a bit loud.
- Chaimae (10/5): perfect place to reconnect with yourself - everything nothing
- Tímea (10/5): Exceptional - The location was awesome, and it is so chill there, you can just sit back and relax. Breakfast was wonderful, too. The staff was extremely helpful, they organized surfing and they arranged late night check in. Although we had a shared bathroom, it was really clean, our room was spacious and lovely. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back in the future. Not every information was clear, e.g. the breakfast costs extra, the dinner has to be booked in advance etc. But these are just minor inconveniences that could be improved, but it did not affect our stay.
- Karolina (9/5): We had a lovely time at Blue Waves - The location was unbeatable. All the staff were super friendly and the overall atmosphere of the surf house was very communal. We were made to feel like at home but with the perks of incredible views of the sea and, of course, plenty of opportunities to surf and meet lovely people. The area is limited in terms of vegetarian food and the food at the surf house was quite overpriced. It would be helpful if the bathrooms were cleaned more regularly because of all the sand.
- Barak (1/5): Don’t go there - Nothing Simply disgusting.
Dirty, noisy and very smelly.
Don’t go there
- Niccolò (10/5): Nice and comfortable environment - The terrace with the view on the sea was awesome
- Sophie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sophia (10/5): Cozy beach spot for surf. - Quiet beachfront location. Thoughtfully organized activities.
- Charlotte (10/5): Beautiful 💟 - Loved the friendly staff ,loved the support and kindness from the staff, and they went to arms length to help me , honestly the nicest of people ,was sad to leave ,such a beautiful place ,with lovely peaceful atmosphere , best hostel I have stayed in ,views from room ,out to the beach spectacular, Charlotte x
