Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The last lap of the road to the Resort was very rough but once inside the Resort you'd have forgotten how hard it was to get there. The staff are very welcoming. The room is very neat and bed is cozy. The only other pain was lack of Internet but I understand that the resort will fix this very soon. The beach is beautiful, relaxing and clean! Overall, a beautiful and relaxing stay!
- dana (8/5): Wonderful Secret Oasis Not Too far from Accra - When searching for hotels in Ghana everything is a gamble. Boy am I happy that I took this gamble. This wonderful hotel is off the beaten path. The beach is beautiful with no litter (I pray people keep it this way). The rooms are large and spacious. I was traveling with my boyfriend, but each room comes with a Queen size bed and a smaller bed. The pros of the place: there is a pool, ample lounge space, dining room area. The only cons we encountered during our stay was we had an issue with our bathtub leaking, so they moved us to another room and we were missing a shower head there. I would say though their team was very helpful and apologetic and tried to fix the situation. Overall, we had a wonderful stay there and we would stay there again in a heartbeat. We didn't leave the resort the entire time, as I'm not sure what else there is to do in the nearby town.
- Fiona (8/5): Ideal de-stress location - A quaint property - the genuine haven of Nyanyano. Still in its infancy - a few initial teething issues quickly addressed by Barbara - your “ can do “ hostess with the mostess - a real credit to the resort, alongside Diana in the restaurant always smiling & Daniel in housekeeping always helpful. There is a WiFi room with a strong signal, WiFi is available in some areas of the property - not a huge issue when on holiday - and there is a relaxing WiFi room to gain access. We placed chairs that were inside the duplex room ( which has breathtaking sea views, and gorgeous sunset & sunrise views) outside of the room and were able to enjoy a cool breeze and WiFi connection there also.
As a family of 5, we had various Ipad’s & mobile phones around, no issues with worrying about their safety - honest & helpful staff. Breakfast could have been a bit more varied, we stayed for 12 days with no variation - again as they are in their infancy and this has been raised i am sure it will be addressed.
If you are wanting to do something in the local area - there isn’t anything - though Barbara can easily arrange local taxis or a personal driver. We very much enjoyed the serene practically private beach, long enough to enjoy long walks - with zero hassle from anyone. If you are looking for a peaceful rest & relaxation location - this is it. We did miss not having a fridge in the room, or access to an ice machine, this would be a great addition. For sure we will visit again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Beautiful place tucked away on a private beach. It takes some effort to get there because it's so far off the beaten path and you have to take a dirt road to get there. Staff is very nice but once there, you're their captive costumers and can't get food or drinks anywhere else.
- ERICA (8/5): Soon to be haven - This is an isolated resort/hotel that is perfect for a get away free from music and the hustle and bustle of the city. Select on of the duplex rooms for a condo feeling, especially if you are bringing a family or group of friends. I was disappointed to find out that neither the cable, phone or internet (wifi) was working nor available on site. For those that wish to do a digital detox, this great, but for those that may wish to connect to loved ones, etc. while on site, this can be uncomfortable. I recommend that you make these services available, and have your guests decide what to utilize or have accessible in the room.
The pullout couch was another area that could use some work. For a new hotel, they certainly did not invest in new furniture for all the rooms. I practically fell through the pull out couch bed.
The customer service is what makes this place worth it - outstanding and bed over backwards so you can feel at home. My fiancée and I deeply appreciated this. With a few upgrades, this place will truly be a haven.
