• Alexandra (4/5): Dissapointing - Location was great if you want to be near the main strip. - Not as clean as what I would have expected for the rate I was paying - Bed was incredibly uncomfortable - Shower wouldn’t get to a hot level - The noise outside is ridiculous, even when all windows were closed - One roll of toilet paper supplied
• Claire (8/5): Great location for dining, shopping and if you like being in the heart of the action. - Loved the location!! John was very helpful and gave us some great recommendations for local restaurants and places to visit.
• Sandy (9/5): - Fab-u-lous location, right in the centre of town. Out the door and onto the main upmarket shopping street. A short walk to bars, restaurants, amazing vistas and the funicular to the beaches. Loved it
• Nobbs (4/5): Disappointing - The location There was only a bottom and top sheet on the bed. The key to the main door was faulty. At one stage it took 15 minutes to open the door. There were only two drinking glasses and the second one had a huge crack in it.
• Lisa (4/5): Fantastic location and host!!! - Ann was absolutely amazing! Wealth of information and easy to communicate with!! Made our experience! The location was a dream! To be so close to all that the town has to offer was amazing. The bed was horrible! For such a nice apartment I would anticipate a mattress that did not make us uncomfortable every morning we were in pain. The hot tub was not as advertised! Not enough hot water to even fill the tub let alone if someone wants to shower within the hour it’s impossible. The rain shower needed to be cleaned as many spouts were clogged with limescale so we just used the handheld which was disappointing because we did specifically select this accommodation for the hot tub. Would be nice to have a smart tv as well as more than 1 set of towels and enough coffee pods for at least 1 cup of coffee per person per day. Additionally the sofa bed was not usable as there were no sheets.
• Dawna (8/5): We throughly enjoyed our stay! - Great location, well thought out design. Lots of useful touches. Very clean and tastefully decorated Everything was excellent, we loved the location but it would not suitable for those wanting a peaceful break.
• Tracey (10/5): It was so convenient to be able to do laundry while staying in the heart of town. - The apartment is located in the heart of Taormina, so you can wake up in the morning and be right in the middle of town before the crowds arrive. It is perfectly situated to explore the area on foot. The town is walk-only but it's not too far of a walk to the area where a car can pick you up. There are countless stores and restaurants nearby. Our host met us to give us the keys and tell us about the area, she was very nice and welcoming. We would have appreciated a second roll of toilet paper so that we didn't have to buy an entire pack just to get through the last day. Luckily there is a grocery store very close by. Not a complaint, just a note that there are no toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner or tissues provided.
• Linda (9/5): Great and convenient place for a stay in Taormina. - The apartment was in the heart of Taormina. It was neat and tidy and spacious enough for our 3 day stay. Anne was great and was prompt with greeting us and responding to any queries. Only a few things to note was bed was not very comfortable at all, and a few little things like no toaster as advertised and some bath wash or shower cap as other places provide, would be a nice touch.

• Gill (10/5): Fabulous stay at the Varo! - Excellent location on the main strip in Taormina close to bars and restaurants. Apartment is fabulous with everything you need to enjoy the stay. We ate out and only used the coffee machine but facilities on offer are great. Ann was amazing and gave us lots of tips on places to visit. Thanks so much. Just to be clear, these are not deal breakers, just constructive feedback. While the bathroom is lovely, the shower head that’s fitted flush to the ceiling could do with being cleaned so you actually enjoy the benefit of such a large shower head. Sadly, less that half the jets produce water and those that do spray in different directions so much that the bathroom floor was soaked every time my hubby and I had a shower. Considering the cost of the stay, particularly those guests staying one week or more like myself, providing more than two toilet rolls would be nice. We had to buy more, using only one, and left the other three so I do hope those were left for the next guests. Only providing 5 coffee pods too, again we bought a box and left what we didn’t use. We also bought beach towels, again leaving them hoping that they could be washed and left for future guests.

• Katherine (10/5): Perfect apartment to visit Taormina! - Excellent location in the centre of the main strip in Taormina. Very comfortable and well equipped apartment for us, and the extra space and facilities were appreciated for our 5 night stay. Ann was lovely and very responsive. Will recommend this apartment to our family and friends! Very very very minor things (not at all deal breakers) but for a 5 night stay, we had to buy extra toilet paper as well as washing machine pods as only 1 provided for the very small washing machine - just didn’t work for us personally as we needed to wash a fair amount during our long European trip.
• Liz.riveron (9/5): Superb - Great location, spacious rooms and we liked that it had a little kitchen to make some breakfast in the morning. Was a little bit noisy at times during the night but that's because it's on the main street.
• Michael (7/5): Good - Amazing location, close to all what Taormina has to offer, Ann was a superb host, went above an beyond within her power and made our stay enjoyable. Noisy at night, due to being on the main strip, and unfortunately the bed was very uncomfortable sorry to say and needs to be changed!

Very stylish property and well thought out accommodation in relatively small space. Our 'concierge' Anne was welcoming & most helpful. We mostly ate out so didn't use kitchen area much other than for breakfast. Compact dishwasher (given space) was used but did not clean plates etc so ended up hand washing. Otherwise no complaints.
• Bradley-barnard (10/5): We loved our stay in Taormina very sweet apartment although noisy at night. Ann the host was absolutely brilliant & - Italian Style, large windows. Bathroom was good. Quite noisy through the night.
• Bartłomiej (10/5): Best choice in center of Taormine - Amazing apartment in center of Taormine. Very close to interesting monuments, restaurants, shops and bus stop. Apartment is very comfortable and full equiped. You can find everything you need - kitchen, comfortable bed, bathroom with bath, washing machine and ironing set. Ann, out host, was very nice and helpful. She advised us about transfer from Catania. She gave us city map with any interesting points lile grocery, best pizzas points, etc. We high recommend this apartment.
