Guest Reviews
- Yvette (9/5): -
- Rachel (8/5): - Great location. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast Room was a bit cold
- Simon (9/5): Pleasant guesthouse in the centre of Port Erin - Nice guest house, a 5 minute walk from the railway station where all buses leave from. The beach is also a short walk away. The village has several shops, including a Co-op and a larger Tesco
Nice full English breakfast. You can also get Chinese dim sum breakfast if you let them know in advance Nothing
- Tim (10/5): Lovely place to stay and so friendly with great breakfast 👍 - It was clean and very comfortable and near to all the amenities. Couldn’t fault it.
- Alastair (8/5): Atholl Lodge - Port Erin - Warm welcome and friendly attentive staff. Clean and comfortable bedroom and ensure. Lots of towels and toiletries. Breakfast was generous and freshly cooked including porridge and kippers! A proper shower in the bathroom rather than a hand over the bath.
- sternberg (9/5): -
- audra (10/5): Pleasant and relaxing stay - Good location, the couple running the place are really nice and friendly There wasn't anything I didnt like
- Alexander (10/5): Can’t fault the place travel to the island regularly and will stay there again if there’s space - Really close to the beach walking distance and public transport Exactly as described if not a little better
- philip (4/5): Disappointing - I booked this accommodation only 5 days before I arrived and was grateful of getting somewhere to stay at such short notice. There is not much else to say about this accommodation was only I was in the room approx. 6 hours each night
The bed was comfy. Upon arriving I was informed of what time breakfast was served and as I was competing on the Manx rally I needed to be away just after 7,00am. I understood that I didn't expect to be served breakfast at that time but I did ask if they could make me a sandwich and a drink to take with me but received a straight we don't do that.
So I stayed three nights and didn't receive any food .
Also my room was not cleaned in the three days I stayed there and my towels were were not changed. Plus I had used the milk and sugars supplied after the first night and these were not replenished
- Booster (10/5): - Great breakfast lovely owners and convenient location

The view from my window over the steam train station was a nice surprise. The staff were friendly and helpful. It wasn't a problem for me at all but the facilities were a little dated.
- Natalie (10/5): Beautiful historic home - Beautiful historic building that was so quiet and comfortable. The cooked breakfast every morning was lovely and the owners are so friendly. Nothing
- Deirdre (10/5): Convenient and helpful. - Excellent breakfast and services. Very helpful couple who run it.

- Lynne (8/5): -
- Longley (9/5): V kind host and a lovely house and central location. - Nicely cooked breakfast, to order. Perhaps a choice of oat cereal, and soft fruits
And natural, plain yogurt rather than flavoured or thicked with maize starch
- Anthony (8/5): Comfortable and lovely -
- Shaun (10/5): - For the price, an exceptionally good guest house. Would stay again. Shower perhaps a little weak.
- Lucy (10/5): Excellent hosts, very comfortable and clean accomodation in the perfect location for a quiet holiday - The breakfast was really tasty and lots to eat and choose from.
The guest house was in a nice quiet area with a park across the street and very close to the beach and the town centre.
The owners were very friendly and accomodating, I can't rate them highly enough.
The bedroom was very comfortable and clean.
A great stay and Port Erin is the perfect location to see the island and have a quiet peaceful stay. I don't have anything negative to say about my stay.
- Ivana (8/5): Příjemné ubytování - Snídaně byla dobrá. Pokoj malý, ale dostačující. Přišla jsem pěšky, tak mne potěšilo teplo v domě.
- JudgeJeffries (8/5): - Very friendly and accommodating. Location great for a short walk to the shore and centre of town. Can't think of anything

- PATRICIA (10/5): I would definitely book here again if I was in the area. - Ideal location, about 3 minutes walk to the beach. Quaint shops.
Host and hostess were lovely, and very helpful.
Breakfast was amazing. I didn't like the fact I had to go home after being looked after so well.
- Zuzana (9/5): -
- Sian (10/5): -
- Alan (10/5): Very pleasant stay in the Athol Park Guest House - The property is conveniently situated for the beach, railway station and bus station. The room was clean, well appointed and comfortable. The host was friendly, welcoming and informative. Breakfast was substantial with plenty of choice. A guest lounge would have been welcomed but probably at that price point not feasible.
- m (8/5): very good - good breakfast. friendly and helpful hosts. single room was very small but adequate for me
- Janice (8/5): Great b&b. Great hosts - Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Cerials, porridge, toast, cooked, or any variety. Juices, yogurt & fresh fruit.
Good location, great view from our bedroom window of the bay & Bradda Head. Towels good, changed every day. We had a fortnight stay & the bedding was changed regularly. 5 minute walk to the steam railway & shops. Left along the bay is the pub with the best beer. The Bay. Selling Bushys ale. Far superior to O'Kells in my opinion. We came over with our car . Alan gave us a parking disc which was very handy for some places. We were here for the Classic Manx Grand Prix, Alan gave us details of times of the races.
- Stephen (8/5): -
- Juliana (9/5): Very friendly staff and accommodating. Great location - Very friendly and good choice of breakfast dishes. A shirt stroll to the beach
- Richard (8/5): Visit Port Erin - it's lovely! - This is an old-school B & B in the beautiful resort of Port Erin. A full English breakfast or kippers are offered. It was quiet and comfortable with a calming view from the window. A good place to relax. I would like to return. There was nothing to complain about. I came on my bike (as did two other guests) and there wasn't really a place to put them, so I locked mine to a ladder in the back yard (others locked theirs to a piece of garden furniture). It didn't seem very secure, but its a quiet area, fine for one night.
- Andy (6/5): Erg gedateerd -

- Kevin (5/5): - Yes all OK but very tired now needs a lot ov money spent on it the hosts were excellent 👍 but the place is very back in the days I think it was a Chinese restaurant at one time and its full ov it's decorated in it not very up coming needs a lot ov work As above needs a full refurbishment I as I say it was a Chinese restaurant &b&b still full of Chinese stuff not very good 😕

- Richard (10/5): - A super stay at Athol Park. The room was very comfortable and clean. I was impressed that only myself was using the external bathroom. The lady in charge is really friendly and caring. The breakfasts were generous and tasty and the relaxing breakfast room had lovely decor. The location less than 5 minutes from the beach, bus stop, train station, restsurants and supermarket could not be better. The WiFi worked well. The value-to-price relation was excellent. The place exceeded my expectations. I will definitely stay at Athol Park again when back on the island. Very highly recommended!
- Margaret (10/5): - Lovely clean and comfortable room. Extremely welcoming and delicious freshly cooked breakfast. We would definitely stay again.
- MARGARET (9/5): A friendly place to stay with excellent service and accommodation and close to the steam train. - As we were visiting family we looked for a location near to them - and we were not disappointed with Atholl Park House. the owners were friendly and helpful, the room was beautifully decorated and clean, with a clean and bright bathroom......although we had not realised when we booked that it was actually up three flights of stairs! However we would certainly recommend Atholl Park House to anyone. There was nothing to dislike - the stairs were a struggle as we are elderly and our main home is a bungalow - they were a challenge!
- Ben (8/5): -
- Betty (10/5): Very pleasant stay with pleasant & most helpful hostess. - Breakfast couldn't be better. Good choice of food. Nice quiet location, seaside, & some shops. etc. We would love to come back to Port Erin & this Guest House again. No complaints.
- Timothy (10/5): - Jen Alan are superb hosts I go every year and they look after me There is nothing to dislike a lovely place to stop
- Chris (10/5): A good find - Excellent location, very friendly and helpful hosts, good brekky. Can't ask for much more !

- Daniella (10/5): - Lovely clean, comfortable guest house.. Staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for you.. Good selection for breakfast and cooked breakfast cooked from fresh from ordering. Good location in Port Erin too..
Will definitely stay here again on my next visit to the Isle.of Man.. Couldn't fault it at all..
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Tidy bed, many choices of breakfast.
- Jovian Hun (10/5): Friendly hospitality provided for our stay at Port Erin. Breakfast freshly cooked and served daily. - Location near to the Port Erin station and the beach. And nearby eatery Fish and Chips and Coop/Tesco. Everything perfectly working fine
- HILARY (8/5): A good place to stay for a brief visit - Excellent breakfast and very helpful & friendly hosts. Room was very comfortable and clean but a bit bare - brighter pictures would help and consider replacing doors ( especially bathroom).
- Stephen (8/5): -
- Kirby (10/5): - I was greeted with a warm and welcoming host and atmosphere. The location is ideal for any one travelling to not only to Port Erin but someone looking to travel the area with great, efficient transport links. As a solo traveller for this adventure I felt safe not only in Athol Park but the local area aswell. I would definitely return!

- robin (8/5): I’d stay again, and probably will next year. - Clean, comfortable, great location in a beautiful small town. Breakfast was fantastic, good selection of food and a great cooked breakfast that was fresh and tasty. No off road parking, but plenty of on street parking and the street was quiet and area seemed safe.
- Stephanie (9/5): Warm and welcoming - Location to local facilities, public transport, train and beach.
Alan and Jen are perfect hosts and very accommodating…
Great choice of breakfast.
We even had an air conditioner in the room which was a godsend with the heatwave Nothing

- Milner (10/5): - The room was very comfortable and clean and the host went above and beyond to accommodate us until we needed to be at the airport. The breakfast that was included with the meal was exceptional. We had a wonderful experience. There was not anything we did not like.
- Gillian (9/5): A pleasant stay. - Friendly, helpful staff. Proximity to beach and shops. Good breakfast. I think they should provide a non-slip mat for the shower.
- Jane (10/5): - Arrived before 10 am to leave bag but was given my room there and then which had also been upgraded . This was great and the host is just so friendly and helpful .
- Ase (5/5): -

- Charles (9/5): - Traditional guest house, friendly and helpful people. Good breakfast that kept us going all day. Easy walk to train/bus, town centre and the best beach on the island.
- Van (10/5): - I recently had a wonderful stay at Athol Park Guest House, and I wanted to share my experience:
1. The location is fantastic, situated in a peaceful area just a short walk from the beach.
2. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.
3. Breakfast provided a reasonable selection of choices.
4.My single room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all necessary amenities.
I highly recommend this guest house!
- Philip (8/5): A good nights sleep! A good breakfast! What more do you need? - Excellent location. Excellent Host. Rooms decorated well, in keeping with house history but cozy and comfortable. The mattress was very comfortable. Room and bathroom were very clean. My room didn’t have a stand up shower in the bath, just a wand. But this was the last room without a shower and the host explained they were putting in a standup splash back so full shower could be used in tub.
- Vishal (7/5): -
- Louise (9/5): As expected. Good. - Perfect for my needs.
Kindly allowed check in one hour early. All was good.
