- Lorenzo Baratti (9/5): Grazioso ostello non lontano da Napoli - La struttura é esteticamente molto bella e originale, con gli esterni tutti colorati di motivi floreale e simpatici orpelli ai muri in alcuni spazi comuni. Presente tutto il necessario, un cortiletto con tavoli fuori, libreria, bar, ampia cucina. Originale anche l'idea di predisporre una roulotte per 2 persone all'esterno per chi voglia soggiornarvi. Spiaggia pubblica a 15 minuti a piedi. Solo da considerare, come si evince dalla mappa, che fino alla stazione sono 20 minuti buoni a piedi. Se alloggiate nella roulotte, mettete in conto il rumore dalla strada accanto, particolarmente chiassosa al venerdì e sabato sera. Da pulire sopra ai muri divisori delle docce, da cui può cadere di ogni.

- _#_Torsten_#_ (5/5): - • Freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal • gute Lage zu Bus und Bahn • nicht weit vom Strand entfernt Uns ist bewusst das es ein Hostel ist aber dennoch gibt es ein paar Punkte die uns nicht so gut gefallen haben. Da wäre zum einen der in die Jahre gekommene Wohnwagen in dem wir untergebracht waren, wo sich Schränke nicht öffnen ließen weil sich die Decke nach unten bog. Die Küche, wo von vier Kochfeldern nur eins funktionierte. Und die Waschräume, die nicht nach Geschlecht getrennt waren.

Recommended.. It's not near to the train station. But I didn't really care. I had a great time over there. Very nice place!

- ISMAHEN (7/5): Expérience mitigée - Le personnel agréable et la cuisine bien équipée. Le carte est assez mignon. J’ai dormi dans la roulotte , elle est située entre la porte d’entrée donnant sur une rue avec pas mal de circulation et la terrasse du bar/cuisine. Elle n’est pas insonorisée donc très bruyante. De plus la porte ne se verrouille pas de l intérieur, je ne me suis pas sentie en sécurité même il ne m’est rien arrivé. Et dernier point noir elle est très mal isolée la nuit j ai eu très froid et dès le lever du soleil j’ai cuit.

- Cynthia S (10/5): - Nettes, unkompliziertes Personal, Katzen zum Streicheln, Dachterrasse mit Hängematte und wunderbarem Ausblick, schöner Innenhof mit Tischen, Tischfussball, gutes Bierangebot, grosse Küche, gute Lage zum Erkunden von Herkulaneum und Pompeji. Unsere Kinder liebten den Wohnwagen! Der Weg vom Bahnhof beträgt 1.4km. Ist aber zu Fuss gut machbar.

Brought us old folks back to our long-ago hippie days! The frequent presence of smokers right outside our only window meant we had to keep our window closed most of the time.

Familienzimmer mit Betten für bis zu 6 Kinder und eigenem Bad. Gute Versorgung mit Läden und Restaurants/Cafés in der Nähe. Das Familienzimmer war nicht gut isoliert zur lauten Straße. Die Matratzen könnten ein Update gebrauchen.

I had a single ensuite room and was pleased with the facilities within it.......hairdryer and large fan A great situation for accessing public transport to sites like Pompeii or Sorrento. Lovely walks, in what I felt was a safe area. Beach 10 mins away with a beautiful sunset. Lots of mosquitos around hostel and Ercolano in general. If you're prone to being bitten, take precautions. I forgot at first and got badly bitten, taking an unusually bad reaction.

- Yan (9/5): - My roommates were all very friendly, and the staff were great and helpful. The kitchen was spacious and easy to use, and the whole place felt big and very comfortable. The town is quiet with fewer people, prices are affordable, and it offers a different kind of experience. The train station is a bit far, about a 23-minute walk, while the beach is closer, around an 11-minute walk. Although the location isn’t very convenient, it didn’t affect the overall great experience. I would love to come back if I get the chance.

Beds uncomfortable, no aircon between 7am and 10pm, which the kids really struggled with. It was very hot and humid. Long walk from any transport links ~20 mins to a train or bus.

- Mathieu (10/5): Exceptional - I would recommend to stay in this hostel to do everything in Naples, Pompei, Sorrento and Amalfi, since the metro station and train station is 10 min for there. It's also 10 minutes from the ancient city of Herculaneum, in Ercolano, quiet place without tourists, with a lot of family shops, cheap pizza or sea fruits. In itself, the hostel is a pearl : a friendly house with two terraces, one patio, a large and fully equiped kitchen, a bar, not a big factory/hostel, intimate atmosphere with a staff always available, very good human beings. And it's 5 min from the beach !!

- Luca (10/5): Comfortable, beautiful, and friendly. - Beautiful hostel with exceptionally friendly and welcoming hosts. A great opportunity for meeting and engaging with other travelers and students from all over Europe and the rest of the world! The hostel is decorated beautifully with original paintings and art objects covering every surface. The common rooms are pleasant community spaces and the private room we stayed in was comfortable and secure. The location is convenient to multiple train stations and is a perfect home base for exploring the Vesuvius national park, the Ercolano and Pompeii archeological parks, and could also be a good base for budget-minded travelers to take day trips to the Amalfi coast. The hostel also has many friendly cats!!!
- Basanta (10/5): Exceptional - I came here having booked by two incompetent (probably scammy) places in Napoli, booked late but received excellent communication. The receptionists and staffs were incredible, joyful, talkative and wonderful cats. Later I met the owner who was a very kind, amazing person. The place has a really chill vibe that attracts similar guests too. Enjoyed it thoroughly, truly a shining beacon in Campania which can be a hit and miss with hospitality

- Tomer (3/5): not a good atmosphere as a solo traveler. Hostel should not have political statements in stickers - reception lady was nice at check in Atmosphere was uncomfortable. Loud noises from the street in the room. They charge extra to stay after check out in the common areas, never heard of this before. Toilets were broken, no toilet seat at all. Stickers in reception are political and made me feel uncomfortable (for the hostel, if you are wondering I am talking about the big one on the glass in reception)

- Offer (1/5): Bad - The showers The mattresses are very bad, cats are in the hostel a lot, the staff is rude, they want to charge for everything even staying in the hostel after checkout which is absurd. They have a free palestine sticker right on the reception, a public hostel shouldn't voice ignorant political opinions like this.

- Wanju (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely wonderful stay there ❤️ Beautiful, clean, big kitchen, and I met so many nice people there 🥰 The experience worths the long traffic 🤣🤣 About how to get there, I recommend: From Napoli Stazione Centrale, take the Trenitalia state railway and stop in Torre Del Greco. Because this route is more straightforward, easier to find the way/direction. This route is more flat. There's nother way, but I don't recommend: From the station of Napoli (Garibaldi) take the Circumvesuviana(EAV) choosing the line Napoli-Sorrento and stop in Ercolano-Miglio D’Oro (only during summer) or Torre Del Greco’s stop. Because this route is basically walking up/down hill. and roads are smaller, not easy to find direction. And also to buy the tickets to Circumvesuviana(EAV) (only from tickets office by human) and find the platform is a torture. Nothing

- Brittany (10/5): Seaside artist home - The enviroment they've created at Hostel Floreale is really lovely. It's very welcoming, safe, and the epitome of la dolce vida. The art everywhere was lovely and the attention to recycling I appreciated. I loved the cats and the facilities available, such as the hammock on the roof. Excellent value for rates per night and really enjoyed the owners and staff. I highly reccomend them and will absolutely return when I am in this area again. It's a bit of a walk from Torre Del Greco, but it's a pleasant one for most of it.

- Helena (3/5): Problem at check-in - The girl of the reception was very friendly and it smelled nice and clean in the hallway I didn't dare to confront the staff with this problem, that's why I chose to write this review. I still don't know until this day what I was doing wrong when I entered the hostel but I had only put my bag in the entrance of the hostel, put my phone in a charger to be able to charge it for check-in and was friendly as normal. So I was expecting a friendly and normal welcoming back, from the staff but instead a man who was watering plants in the garden started to act as if I was extremely annoying and not welcome because, as he alsmost shouted, it was not time for check in yet, but my phone was dead so I had to stay there and the town is super deserted so I just could go away again to let him finish cleaning. I didn't think i was disturbing when I came in because they didn't send me not to arrive before 14, and they also got a message from me saying I was going to arrive before 14, because of my train. So, this man, he started being very passively aggressive against me and I felt so uncomfortable with this that immediately I wanted to book somewhere else, but canceling my booking was not possible at all at this hostel. The hostel has a very good reputation, but i was extremely disappointed and felt so unwelcome when I entered. After all the hostels I had visited and all the super nice Italian people I had met on my trip before this, I just wasn't expecting this. Also, the people who came after me were welcomed in a nice way, so I felt like it was a personal attack or something, I'm still angry now for it. There were also way too many rules everywhere, which I didn't see in any place before. Maybe he thought it was a funny joke to say I didn't understand English and was almost shouting at me. I felt terrible, attacked, intimidated, and not welcome at all because of him.

- Armin (7/5): primitive hostel with sweet staff and guests. - The hostel is indeed charming - however i've been to better hippiestyle hostels in the canarian islands. good place to meet likeminded down-to-earth people. surprisingly much to do in the area. I recommend the botanical garden, the saltwater poolclub just next door (18 euro entrance though), the LARGE vintage market in ercolano, Gaaarden bar ( a little far away but an amazing outside bar), barberia by Massimo (good cheap barbershop). very local area - not many turists. go here for a different experience in the Napoli area. the secutiry boxes were too small to store my hand luggage. many mosqitos in the patio (much more than other places in ercolano). the bar at the rooftop was closed when i stayed there, and it was inconvenient to go all the way down just to buy a beer. we were not allowed to eat food on the rooftop. it was difficult to come home to the hostel after a night out in the Napoli center (or anywhere really). public night-transport was scarce and confusing. Most restaurants in the area are not that good, and a little cringe.

- Grigorii (10/5): Great place to stay in/near Naples - I really love this hostel. Stayed twice already. Easy to get to the city center of Naples. But also to Herculaneum, Pompeii, Vesuvius. Staff are very friendly, the common areas are great. Good place for meeting people from all over the world The showers could use some improvement. There's nowhere to put your clothes after you undress...

- Lisa (10/5): Fabulous time - will come back for sure. - The Eco Hostal floreale is the ideal Hostel if you are looking for a laid back vacation destination. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The common areas are very well maintained and even though it has a nice backpacker / hippie vibe to it the hostel is kept extraordinarily clean. there are 4 cats living at the hostel which are very sweet and if you enjoy something a bit adventurous you can book the caravan outside, which was a lot of fun. I highly recomment this place. (Plus it is in the absolute sweet spot between Naples, Pompeii and amalfi.)

- Prat (9/5): Superb - I loved the vibe of the whole place, it feels very welcoming and cute. The staff are super friendly. The location is perfect if you want to get away from the busy city of Naples. Very accessible to go to Pompeii by train and the Vesubio. I can only say that the beds are not the most comfortable but the rest is definitely a 10!

- Michelah (10/5): A real hostel experience - This hostel is kind of like what you see in movies, It's a pretty beach town, there's animals! it's owned by local people. If you are looking for a real hostel experience, I would recommend staying here. There's a train that can take you wherever. Close to the ferry terminal! It really is something special! I stayed in winter so I would love to see how it is during the summer.
