- Dana (10/5): Excellent hospitality standards. An absolute gem of a B&B. - We loved it
- John (10/5): Without question the best B&B we have had the pleasure of staying at! Our hosts were amazing! - Fabulous! Worthy of a king/Queen! Nothing!
- Peter (9/5): -
- Faye (8/5): It was lovely overall but quite expensive and was expecting a bit more creative decor as it was Christmas - Very welcoming. Historic feel in building but not decor The pillows looked great but were too thick and hard for my comfort. They made my neck sore Also thought the Christmas decor lacking creatively. A 200 year old building should not have $store ornaments on tree even if they were nicely hung.
- Wander17934929313 (10/5): Perfect Cozy Getaway. This charming B&B is beautifully maintained and run by the most welcoming hosts. - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had a wonderful four-night stay and can’t say enough good things about this B&B. The innkeepers are incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfasts were delicious and something we genuinely looked forward to each morning, along with our daily chats — those personal touches truly set this place apart.
The inn itself is beautifully maintained, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed, creating a relaxing and cozy atmosphere. It’s clear how much care and pride go into every detail.
We left already missing the breakfasts and conversations and are looking forward to returning next time we're in town. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a charming, personal B&B experience!
- Katleen (10/5): - We had a fantastic stay here, at this beautiful historic house!

- P855HEmichellef (10/5): So charming - We just returned from an absolute wonderful stay at Sir Isaac Brock. Ida was cute as a button, warm and welcoming. Her husband David joined us for some chit chat while we had breakfast. Very cute couple. The B&B has vintage charm and very spacious. It is a 5 min walk to downtown. I would recommend and I hope to return as well!
Thank you Ida!!!
- Martin (10/5): - Tolles B&B und super frisch gemachtes Frühstück. Ida und David sind sehr nette Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.
- PhoenixRobin (10/5): Our favorite place to stay - This is one of our favorite places to stay. Ida and David are gracious, friendly and accommodating. We stay in the King room, which is large, comfortable and has a separate sitting area. There is also a common area for guests on the second floor, between both rooms, with a beverage area. Everything in downtown Brockville is within walking distance, and 1000 Islands, Kingston and other towns are a short, easy drive. Ida’s breakfast is delicious, and a great way to start the day.
- Norman (10/5): - Wonderful rooms. Sitting room off the bedroom. 2 large living rooms on the main floor.
Coffee/tea in room and also in the lounge on the second floor.
Full breakfast cooked to order.
- Gillian (10/5): Excellent B&B in a beautiful, historic town by the St Lawrence. - This is an absolutely delightful B&B, steeped in history, with wonderful hosts, in a lovely town. Ida and David made us very welcome. Our room was great and breakfast was outstanding. There are also two large, comfortable sitting areas for guests, with lots of interesting books to browse through. There are excellent restaurants and cafés within a few minutes walk, too. We very much enjoyed exploring Brockville and learning about its history. We would highly recommend this B&B and wished we had stayed more than one night.
Thanks again, Ida and David. It was really good to meet you! Nothing. It was all super.
- marilyn (10/5): - Great location, quiet and good food.
We would stay again if in the area.
- Fred Bassett (9/5): -
- Christina (10/5): - A very nice surprise for a short stay, beautiful set up and lovely place for a relaxing evening and tasty breakfast. The restaurant recommendation was highly appreciated. Thanks Ida for her hospitality and kindness, all is well planned and in details. Highly recommended.

- V7370KIthomasb (10/5): A have to visit B&B in Brockville Ontario. - This property is the best B&B we have ever visited. The house is absolutely the most unique, well-kept and clean building. Each of the two-bedroom suits have its own full bath and sitting room/area as well as closets, tv and king size bed. There are also 2 living rooms that can be private or community rooms and there is a common dining room. All the rooms are very well appointed with comfortable leather chairs and sofas and many unique artifacts from earlier times. There is also a common game/tearoom on the same floor as the bedrooms. Whether in your bedroom or in one of the common rooms you don't have to look far to see a book, artifact, map, etc. that catches your attention. The owners, Ida and Dave Duc, have an amazing talent for furnishing and appointing each room. The included breakfasts are perfect to begin your day. Ida and Dave are very gracious hosts who are wonderful conversationalists. During our stay we felt like welcomed guests into their family. They are very knowledgeable in the Brockville area and local restaurants. Visiting this B&B was like visiting an old friend in their home. We can't wait to get back for a visit next year to become more familiar with the 1000 Islands area and catch up with our new old friends Dave and Ida.
PS: If you have a favorite classic car that you need an excuse to drive, Dave and Ida would be more than happy to invite you into their home and give Dave a chance to show off his beautiful, red, Pontiac Solstice sports car.

- passgaswilltravel (10/5): Bed & BrockFest - This immaculate B&B is lovingly run and maintained by David and Ida, who will charm you as your sincerely caring hosts from the moment you step in (and remove your shoes. You are in a home, after all.). There are only two suites, but they have every comfort imaginable, with particular attention to luxurious bedding. The theme of the place's namesake is evident throughout, from his biography in one of the parlours to portraits and artifacts lining the walls. The history is a nice touch, but the elegant dining area and made-to-order breakfasts are even nicer!
Book here. You won't regret it.

- T3092MTpauls (10/5): Among the best B and Bs we've experienced - As veterans travelers who frequent Bed and Breakfast Inns, we recognize a high quality venue when we experience one - and the Sir Isaac Brock B and B is one such location. Besides its central location to all of the historical and midtown attractions, the Inn itself conjures up an atmosphere quite in keeping with the prevailing architectural ethos of the neighbourhood. More importantly, of course, are the hosts. Dave and Ida are warm, engaging, knowledgeable and thorough in making our stay pleasant and memorable. The quality of the room, the related amenities and the food are all A+. Great value for the money. We will stay there again.
- karlavC4065TY (10/5): Welcoming, Convenient, and Excellent! - A wonderful stay in a traditional French stone home that has been lovingly maintained and restored. The King Suite was comfortable, very clean, and well appointed. The side sitting room with comfortable wing back chairs was wonderful for reading or watching a TV program. Ida prepares delicious breakfasts - of which we got to choose our preference! David is welcoming and curious about each guest! We would stay here again.
- Susan (10/5): - The owners were incredibly kind, accommodating and social. We got off later than expected just because we were having such a nice conversation over a delicious breakfast. The room was also spacious, and clean. It was a beautiful well kept vintage home.
- Elizabeth (10/5): A delightful get away! - It is a lovely historical building close to the downtown in Brockville.

- Allen (10/5): Luxury, welcoming, comfortable, exquisite stay - Very hospitable couple, great location to just walk to food & city interests. Breakfast is top notch & prepared fresh with choice of eating in or on nice deck, the history of the B&B is quite interesting, imagine staying in an 1824 Georgian Luxury suite, you won’t regret it.
- Anthony (10/5): - We love staying with David and Ida! They are wonderful hosts and their bed and breakfast is beautiful !
- Rayzor_Sharp_Reviews (4/5): Policy Warning ($25 cancellation fee) - While i would like to say that my stay at this B&B was great I didn't get the chance to stay. I had been looking for a spot to lay my head for one night with my wife while in Brockville (for the first time) and came across this place.
Looked great, good reviews and so i decided to book it. I had checked the availability for my dates and booked a room but after 1-2 minutes (literally) i noticed i had selected the wrong week, totally my bad.
I cancelled it immediately and looked at the correct dates i wanted but it appeared to be full so i just left it at that.
To my surprise a few days later my credit card was charged the full rate of the room. I called to inquire and verify that my reservation had been cancelled (which they confirmed it had been) but that i refund would be issued a refund in up to two weeks less a $25 charge for cancelling the booking. I was quite shocked that a booking of literally 2 minutes got a charge of $25 for zero administration effort on the part of the B&B. The excuse i got was that the credit card company charges them, that may or may not be true but it's just bad customer service and relations in my opinion.
In the end i paid the $25 and it was completely my fault for not verifying my dates before clicking but that just left a bad customer service taste in my mouth.
In any event my wife and i found a much more reasonable B&B around the corner called "Widow's Peak" that was fantastic and were taken care of like royalty.
- V9478FBthomasg (10/5): Our second stay was just as marvellous! Highly recommend this B&B. You will be impressed with Ida and Dave’s hospitality - This was our second visit to Ida and Dave’s B&B, and it definitely did not disappoint. The location, their home, the room, the food and the hospitality were first rate. Be sure to read our previous review, as it captures our experience at Sir Isaac Brock B&B, well. Thank you for being such gracious hosts!

Hosts were very friendly and helpful. The room was quiet, clean and nicely equipped. Central AC made it comfortable on a very hot and humid day. Modern bathroom fixtures. Pleasant sitting area in the room. House had a games room and communal living room. Inn was conveniently located in the downtown and close to several good restaurants.
- T6180REbrianl (10/5): A Wonderful Experience - Our stay at Sir Isaac Brock B&B confirmed the numerous 5 star reviews the property and hosts have earned. - Charlene (10/5): Exceptional - Very comfortable suite, fantastic breakfast and the hosts were lovely! Highly recommend! Nothing
- JamieHworld (10/5): Couple's night away. - The owners were lovely, and the main floor had charm and interesting artifacts. There were two sitting rooms, a lounge with a TV and a patio/deck outside in the backyard. Upstairs, there was a common games room and the two suites. We stayed in the King Suit, and it was just the right size. Location wise, we were within walking distance of downtown Brockville, the waterfront, boardwalk, and theater. Oh, and breakfast in the morning was superb!
