- Terry (10/5): - Strawberry Cottage offered a very peaceful, relaxed place to stay away from home. Owners Fernando and his wife offered a friendly welcome on our arrival. He clearly explained the various changes that had been made to the normal B&B routine. The breakfasts were excellent, with local produce and eggs from their own hens. Fernando always showed interest in our daily plans and would make good suggestion of places to visit, including meals etc. We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Strawberry Cottage, nestled in its large private garden, just off the quiet Shamblehurst Road. We highly recommend this accommodation and would definitely stay again when in the area.

- Shelagh (10/5): Lovely stay - A delightful B&B in an interesting old building. Just a short walk from Hedge End station with services buses to Hampshire Bowl(cricket). Next to a Hungry Horse family pub and 10 minute walk to a very good Nepalese restaurant and Tesco Express. Lovely garden and enjoyed watching the chickens from our room. Very good breakfast - homemade marmalade was a real treat.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - We loved the cottage. It is very old and the garden is gorgous. Very pretty indeed. Also enjoyed seeing the free range hens and havng their eggs for breakfast. The only thing I found diffucult is that I kept forgetting to duck in the bedroom!. We would book it again. The couple looking after it were very friendly and the pub next door was handy.
