• Nuala (10/5): Quiet comfortable spot if you want to avoid the crowds - Welcoming hostess to a spotless and comfortable ryokan . I stayed here for the night before my flight out of Tokyo as I couldn’t face the noise and crowds of the city. The area was a delightful quiet suburb with easy walk to lovely Kogenai park. Hostess helped me with booking airport bus direct from the local station ( you need to book on line the day before and pay at local Lawson shop) . ( 2 hour bus ride to haneda) Also accommodated my request for a vegan breakfast.

• Suzanne (10/5): Best Ryokan! - The ryokan was spotless, staff very friendly and helpful, delicious breakfast, quiet location, peaceful environment, convenient to public transportation, saw no tourists in this area and the price was right.
• Duane (10/5): - The owners were so enjoyable, they only spoke broken English but we were able to converse. The facility is a traditional Japanese inn, so sitting in the floor and sleeping on futon. Suggest using two futon if you are not so l used to sleeping in the floor. The air conditioning was great cause it was hot outside. Really close walk to Don Quijote and many shops, markets and food, 6 minute walk. Musashi Koganei station and area around have so much, Muji, Daiso, H&M.. Easy train ride into Tokyo, although the Chuo line does get crowded.

• Christopher (10/5): Exceptional - The owners were so kind, I got to chat with them a bit about this long-family-owned property, the city, and things to do for the evening. They helped us book a delicious traditional Japanese supper nearby as well which was great! The stay itself is beautiful, with comfy tatami and the surrounding neighbourhood was nice to explore

• Pierre (10/5): Exceptional - The ryokan is perfectly clean, room is big, with a table and seats. You are provided yukata to feel the traditional japanese way. Shared bathroom is perfect. The breakfast is exactly as on the photograph, not tradiitional japanese but bred and fruits and vegetables, with egg and small piece of ham. Not enough but several options at metro station offering traditional breakfast early morning (sukiya, matsuya). The ryokan is located in Koganei city, 5min from the Musashi-Koganei metro station; the rapid Chuo Line takes you to the Shinjuku station in ~15 min. Many facilities around the metro station, virtually anything you could search for. Excellent communication with surroundings with bus station next to metro. The big park with the architecture museum is also nearby, perfect for jogging. The music :) this was a little bit too much, and all the time, even at night, although very quiet but still.

• Steven (10/5): - The owners are very attentive, and present the Ryokan as your being a guest in their home. The traditional tatami is clean and comfortable. Lots of art and Japanese mementos all over, make you feel that you are in aJapanese home. Hot baths too!

• HIDENOBU (10/5): 家族5人で宿泊 - ファミリー部屋で宿泊しました。部屋は広く子供たちも快適に過ごせて良かったです。 共同冷蔵庫が宿泊者で結構いっぱいになるので、ファミリー部屋設置してあると良いと思いました。 トイレが共同は温水ウォシュレットでしたがファミリー部屋にも温水ウォシュレット完備だとより良いと思います。
