Guest Reviews
- Steven (10/5): - The staff was outstanding! They were very friendly and helpful throughout our visit! Any questions or requests were answered promptly and professionally! Everyone made us feel welcome during our extended stay.
- Honor (10/5): - The staff were very nice and the room was great, although the hotel is a bit far from the centre it was easily reachable by metro or uber
- David (6/5): - The bed was comfortable. Several restaurants around the area.
- labros (10/5): - Very nice hotel at a treasonable price. A bit busy at night
- TRIPPING I CA (8/5): - No air conditioner, much noise in the park in front, … bad cleaning, the girl first told us the public washer machines where 24hrs and after says only in q day..
- Juliette (10/5): - As a single woman on my first trip to Paris, I was delighted with this hotel. I stayed two weeks. Everything was as described online. Odalys is a no-frills hotel, but really allows you the independence of a studio apartment. I chose a larger room, and was very comfortable. It is close to the metro station and the neighborhood felt quite safe, even late into the summer night.
Everyone at this hotel was welcoming and accommodating. I look forward to next time! (There is no air conditioning, so I might not choose June next year. But apparently most Parisians live without.)
- Mez (8/5): - The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and very spacious. Would recommend to anyone
- Emmanuel (10/5): - Super great staff. Great breakfast. Would stay here again. :)
- Kendal (6/5): - Stayed for two nights with my adult daughter. Easily accessed by 7minute walk from the metro. Requested twin beds but got a double. Beds and surfaces were clean. Towels were clean but a bit shabby. Lack of attention to detail with dirty baseboards and corners. Kitchenette clean and well-equipped but kettle wasn’t working. Let reception staff know the next morning and she said it would be replaced. Had to ask again in the evening however and it was then done immediately. Some lights and the bathroom extractor fan weren’t working. Very hard to get the water temperature in shower right. It was either too hot or too cold and would just change itself suddenly in middle of shower. No AC but thankful for fan provided as it was a very hot weekend. However that added to the noise at night. Hotel is in the peripherique so noise from traffic and sirens, plus local club. On the whole it was OK as we were out most of the time anyway.
- David (10/5): - good for budget hotel, rooms are clean
- SEYEDHESAMODDIN (2/5): - The room was poorly cleaned and there were no daily room cleaning. There was not any air conditioning in place and you needed to open the window in a very noisy area at nights. Towels were given only one time and you needed to pay 7€ each time you need a clean replacement. The pillows were small square-like amd too loose. The water boiler was dirty. No tooth cleaning kit, slippers. We changed our flight to return one day sooner to stay less in the hotel.
- Hasnan (10/5): - Good stay as expected.
- labros (8/5): - Well situated and reasonable price. Large clean rooms with plenty of amenities
- Vanessa (6/5): - I had a good stay, most of the staff was pleasant. My room was clean and comfortable. I have marked this property down due to communication... I checked out yesterday morning around 6am and I asked about when my deposit will be returned to me (100 euros) I was told by the receptionist it would be by the afternoon. As it is nearly 48 hours later and no deposit I gave given 3 stars.
- Maria (8/5): An overall pleasant stay! - It was a very pleasant stay, and we liked the hotel. The breakfast was especially nice, with a formidable view. There were only some small things I wish to mention that could be better. The cutlery in our own room was not fully clean, which was not a big problem, but I noticed. Also, we believe the window in our room was not fully closed... even when we made sure to close it, there was some wind/air coming through (but there was a radiator there as well, so we were fine!). There was also just an empty bottle of shampoo/shower gel in the bathroom when we got there, but we asked for a new one and got it straight ahead!
- Silsila (8/5): Cute hotel - Overall, we were happy with the hotel! Very cute and in good location (close to tube station), the room had a kitchen which was great and a secure car park. The only downside was the bed situation, we had booked a standard room but was give two twin beds as a double bed. Wasn’t ideal
- Penda (4/5): - They don’t clean room at all smh
- Eduardo (2/5): - Might be one of the dirtiest hotels I’ve stayed at, mold growth in the bathroom, prior guest items left in the room, leaking refrigeration, worst smell in the hallways. RUN AWAY
- Hoi Lun (2/5): - There's no air conditioner in the hot summer weather in Paris and the hotel is not doing cleaning everyday. I stayed 6 nights but did only one room cleaning during my stay.
The rubbish has to throw away by myself.
- Winifred (8/5): - Adequate but not used to cleaning once a week. Had to request toilet paper etc.
- Kevin (8/5): Long weekend in Paris - A nice hotel on the outskirts of central Paris next to the peripherique, so there can be a bit of road noise. On arrival the man on the desk was really helpful and got us checked in quickly. A missing power adapter was resolved by borrowing one from the same man. Our stay was on a very hot weekend and the lack of aircon meant leaving the windows open. Bedding was spotless and the room was clean. The whole thing let down a bit by a shower door not closing properly resulting in a lot of water on the bathroom floor if you weren't careful.
- Gabriele (10/5): - People were very nice 👍
- Hoi-Ching (10/5): We would consider a comeback! - Convenient location. Staff are very helpful at the reception. The apartment is clean and spacious. We had a very comfortable stay.
- Janice (6/5): Positives & Negatives -
The location was pretty good with bus & metro links nearby. There are bars, supermarkets ,takeaways & restaurants near by .
The room is a reasonable size & bathroom was a fair size with a good
shower.
The 'kitchen ' is usefull & equipped with utensils , micro wave , mini dish washer , stove top & fridge. Not much space though but good to have.
Reception staff were friendly except one very rude gentleman who could do with a few lessons in customer service.
TV had no English channels or news . Wifi was pretty good .
Do not expect much in the way of cleaning . We stayed 7 nights & had no cleaning whatsoever despite going down to reception twice. At check in we were told we would have one room clean. It never happened . The staff on reception did give us clean towels on day five & said . On day six reception gave us one clean sheet but it turned out to be a single duvet cover so no good for us.
There is no controlable heating / aircon .
- NANCY (8/5): - Good parking, easy to find just off motorway. The receptionists were welcoming and area well kept. The room was spacious mainly due to no table which should be provided in an aparthotel. Bed very comfortable.
- Konstantin (10/5): - I liked the value for money, the size of the room is quite sufficient, there is the kitchen. The room is clean and not old.
Nearby there are several metro stations and suburban trains (7-10 minutes walk), so you can easily get to the city center.
- Robert (10/5): - Bonjour! Super friendly reception staff, a 15 euro parking onsite deal, strong Wi-Fi, full size coffee maker and useful kitchen items, close to grocery and restaurants, easy to access Uber rides, walkable to basilique du sacre-coeur, and across from a park. No AC during summer stay, but wasn't a problem most of the time with windows open. Would have preferred a bath to a shower and street traffic can be a tad loud, but those are minor things. Odalys is a great value. Merci!
- Emma (8/5): - Staff was extremely kind and helpful. Easy access to public transportation!
- JOSIANE (6/5): - it was my first time staying there so I was not aware that they only clean once a week! they were few items not working but they repaired it once i informed the front desk
- Maria (2/5): - We were deceived with hotel charges. Internet connection was less than satisfactory.
- Doriane (8/5): Need to improve the WiFi - The hotel is nice but the wifi is weak. Whatsapp is not working properly. It did affect my stay as I could not reach my work partner and family.
Also, I stayed for 8 nights and they cleaned only once the room because I insisted.
- Rae (6/5): Not the best - Reception was welcoming with friendly staff
The room however not clean dust everywhere filthy floor
Bathroom very unclean
Bed very uncomfortable with 2 very small pillows
Check in and out very easy
- Kirsty (10/5): Nice little studio - Moved from a unhygienic apartment to here and this place was so much better
- Verified traveler (8/5): - One of the best places I stayed in Paris. The cleaning policy is a bit weird, though: the first 2 days we didn't get clean towels, then we got clean towels every day.
But overall, a good hotel, good beds, would definitely recommend.
Keep in mind the place is next to the Periferique and a police station, so there's a lot of traffic noise/sirens.
- Belinda (10/5): - Location was great. Very nice neighbourhood. Restaurants, pubs, boulangeries all downstairs. Supermarkets and other shops just within 3minutes walk. Room spacious and nice. Kitchenettes provided. Spacious bathroom.
Only disadvantage was the limited housekeeping but i read that in the hotel policies so i kept my room neat till end of stay! Towels were changed in 2days. Overall this is a really cool hotel and will definitely stay there again.
- Wendy (8/5): - Hotel ok, area ok, about 15 mins from metro, 6 stops to Champs-Élysées. Nice patisserie around corner so didn’t bother with breakfast as seemed over priced. Local Lidl. Cooking facilities and utensils adequate. All and all fine place to stay if you are looking for a safe clean base.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The freezer in the room did not work. So we couldn't have ice for our drinks. The windows wouldn't shut properly so we were woken early from traffic noise. The curtains were ripped from their tracks so it looked really shabby.
- Alyssa (6/5): - The hotel entrance was located after a bunch of different bars and restaurants. They let us check in a little early because we were sitting in their small lobby area. Their luggage storage is literally just putting your luggage behind their receptionists desk. The air conditioning was controlled by the hotel and not specific to each room. There was a lot of construction going on around the hotel. Across the street they were putting in a playground and something else. Around the corner in the building the hotel was located in they were building something and across the street from that there were putting in a new building. There is also a police station nearby so there were siren going off all the time. And outside our hotel room window (which we kept open because of the stuffiness in the room) we heard loud talking and laughing from the bar right below until late in the night.
- AHaikelMalek (4/5): - There is no ventilation in the room. I was given a fan to ventilate the room.
- Tonya (8/5): Nice and Clean - The staff were friendly. The room look exactly like the picture so no surprises. The property was clean and comfortable. It's not in the center of the city... So, Uber was our best friend and the subway is about 5 blocks away. Overall it was nice. The area was okay. There are several cute restaurants and a great bakery around the corner.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The property itself is clean and the staffs are friendly. I had arrived early 3-4 hours actual checking time and they were able to get my room ready in less than an hour of waiting. But the actual room was not what I expected as per their website picture, and the cleaning crew didn't replace the hand soap and shower gel before us checking in and the coffee cups and kettle were not cleaned. The housekeeping took care of it as soon as we let them know.In overall it is a great accomkodation.
- temba (6/5): Don’t go - Reception staff were very helpful in terms of helping us navigate around Paris, however the towels in the bathrooms were not changed for the whole week we were there, found stains on the mattresses there was some blood and other things, the rooms had no air conditioning so had to sleep with windows open which resulted in mosquito bites, when going up the elevator there is a sign saying the hotel is colder then out side but they lie
- Verified traveler (4/5): - No air conditioning inside the room. It was very hot.
- Mehrdad (2/5): A nightmare - Poor cleanness, weak room service, annoying room temperature
At check-out we have been told we should pay for breakfast, whereas we didn't use it in whole of our stay. Some cheaters ate breakfast and gave our room number without any confirmation. It seems there is no supervision on confirming and accepting customers at breakfast time.
I totally disappointed of their management system and never come back to this place
- Verified traveler (6/5): - This hotel comes up when you search for a hotel with a swimming pool. It has no swimming pool. Place take out swimming from the hotel amenities.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The accessibility of laundry and the kind staff. The restaurants next toOdalys were convenient and delicious.
- Peter (10/5): Easy stay - Convenent no fuss good value Paris rooms
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Rooms were clean and safe. Was great that they had a parking garage. The staff spoke english and were fantastic. Breakfast room on the top floor was lovely and had a lot of variety to eat. Very pleased with our stay
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was nice to have a kitchenette to prepare food. Bathroom was spacious. Was close walking distance to public transportation. The one big negative was that there was no air conditioning.
- Mrs Emma L (10/5): Awesome - The receptionists were lovely and were very accommodating. Made lovely conversation and made to feel very welcome. Very very good English. Would definitely come back and stay again
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The property didn’t have air conditioner. It was extremely hot and I barely slept during my two days, thanks God only two days.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Pool and spa not working. No AC.
Good, bed and kitchen.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Friendly reception staff. Basic rooms but clean, overall satisfactory.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Very good location. Room was small but with good amenities.
Housekeeping was very poor, maids never moped the floor, didn’t even replace paper toilet. There was dust from several weeks.
- Gazelle (10/5): - Very nice, clean and big room! Great service, when i go back to Paris, i will definitely stay here again. Location is good too! 20mins from Center.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Room was very well kept, bathrooms were nice and had super hot water. Our view was facing the high way where there's construction but we didnt care mich since we were out the entire day. The sorrounding area is a bit dark, hardly any street lamps, so after 9pm the front doors to the hotel os locked but you get a code to punch in and it automatically unlocks or if the front desk gets to know you and recognizes you they open ut for you. Staff is very welcoming. Our ride to the airport was at 430am and the young lady at the front desk didnt sit down until we were inside the cab. Room service was available but we didnt order.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Modern, clean, welcoming and even had a view of the Eiffel Tower from my room
- Verified traveler (6/5): - For starters I messaged the hotel and they never answered. We then arrived at the airport and phoned them 7 times and they answered the call from our taxi driver and cut him off halfway through before he can get the right directions as the address online was taking us somewhere else. The taxi driver kept calling until they answered again and got the directions. When we finally got to the hotel they were not really interested in our story and how frustrating it was being on a meter taxi and in the wrong place and didn’t want to get out until we get to the hotel.
That said the room was clean but no coffee or milk so we ask the receptionist who directed us next door for a small cup of coffee costing 4.50 euros.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was a good hotel. Very clean. We never got a chance to go to the pool area.
- Andrew (6/5): No A/C - There was no a/c control and sleeping with the window open was far to loud with traffic. Little bit of a long walk to the metro. Had to take a tram to the metro.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - I appreciate the fact that transportation is near the hotel. Staff was ok. A big shout to Julien Roy front desk assistant. Soso was very helpful as well.
Otherwise everything else was a disappointment. Housekeeping wasn’t great. They mentioned a spa but it wasn’t really a spa. The pool wasn’t warm. There’s no where to get a massage in the hotel. You have to pay to get coffee powder to brew in your room. Heater wasn’t working in my room for my whole stay. Maintenance came into fix it but never had a follow up. Until I went to the front desk to get an ETA. After they had offered me another room but the bed wasn’t as comfortable as the previous toom.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The hotel is right next to a police station so we could ear police van sirens throughout the day and night.
The gym is very small and the pool is 15euros per hour so I wouldn't pick this hotel over these facilities
- Christian (6/5): - Although, the hotel was reasonable with price, amenities, location and all, my wife brought a perfume with us from the state it was the only perfume she brought with her. After Two days of being in the hotel we notice that the perfume was missing from the last place it was placed. It was a pretty expensive perfume and it was the o oh one she brought from the state to our vacation. We didn’t let the staff know due to us running out of time during checkout so we just decided to put it down in the review. Good hotel and front desk staff are pretty friendly but the housekeepers not sure about them.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - I liked that they had a kitchenette, no carpet, and towel warmer, but there were too many things that were broke down in that room.
1. The shower door was unhinged and leaking water.
2. My side light didn't work.
3. They didn't wash the dishes from the last stay.
4. There were dust mites everywhere.
5. There was hair in the bathroom when we got there.
6. Lastly, the twin beds were 3/4 the size of an American size. That is mostly just a disappointment of mine.
However, there is a restaurant down the street that is amazing. I can't remember the name, but it's on the corner. If you do decide to stay there, you have to try that place.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Paris days - It was a beautiful stay. Staff was very helpful and friendly
- Verified traveler (8/5): Far away but worth the price - The hotel was clean and staff were helpful. There happened to be construction going on in the lot across the street and my room faced the street on the first floor. The sounds of the trucks beeping all night kept me up, but this wasn’t the hotel’s fault. The hotel is pretty far from the city center and attractions, so expect to take the metro everywhere you want to go. The price was right though!
- K.U. (6/5): - The location is not convenient. It's far from the centre of Paris.
I stayed 3 nights, but there was no room cleaning, and new towels were given only once.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Full range of amenities including kitchen. Room was large and Bed was extremely comfortable.
- Josie (10/5): - Two elevators, helpful staff, great area, provides clean towels daily.
- octavia (10/5): - nice I appreciated the stay and would recommend it
- Rick (8/5): - Very clean..bit of a walk to the metro but otherwise great $ /
- Tony (6/5): Three Star out of city center! - We arrived early and were not able to check in until 2 pm. Although we were able to leave our luggage there. We were able lounge on the sixth floor until 2. The breakfast was worth the money for a few days. There is a train station close by that will get you to the Eiffel Tower. You can see the lighting of the Eiffel Tower from the sixth floor of the hotel. There is a bus stop close by the hotel. There is a bakery that is close to the hotel. The hotel is a bit out of the tourist areas in a more commercial building area. So you have to travel to see the sights. There was a bit of mold in the bathroom. The rooms are good size and the beds are comfortable.
- Larry (10/5): Any Old Iron! - A cross between a regular and long-term stay hotel, it took me a while to even realize that my room had a refrigerator, crockery, cutlery, and a dishwasher. There is lots of construction taking place so the neighborhood is less attractive and more noisy than it will be soon. My only complaint was the difficulty they had finding me an iron to press my shirts. The staff, especially the front office, were especially patient and helpful. Would recommend the hotel for short and longer stays.
Larry Hudson, Rochester, New York
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The property air conditioning is not working
Good thing my friend has a hotel room that I can stay for a while the front desk seems really don’t care when I told them about the ac.
- Julie (8/5): Pleasant stay - I overall had a great visit. The front desk staff were very supportive, kind, and helpful specially to a 1st time visitor that does not speak French. It would've been nice if the room supplied a robe, more toiletries, and slippers. I as impressed with housekeeping's efficiency keeping the room clean everyday. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Paris.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I didn’t like that When we walked into the room it smelled like someone went to the restroom and didn’t flush.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good location, nice room (apartment), with very good facilities. More attention for cleaning the room.
- edward (6/5): Not for Paris - Far away from center and most atractions, the days we were in Paris were hot and the hotel’s room air conitioner are control by the front desk and they say they will turn it on, that never happend. Latter we learned from a maid that the A/C was never finished and it’s out of service. One more thing, the pillows are terrible....the place it’s pretty new so it’s a clean small hotel, but they have lot’s of improvements to do.....service was ok, but they didn’t go overboard to really help when needed.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Reasonable price and clean! - Check in is 2:00 pm, however the hotel was able to accommodate my early arrival. The room was clean and housekeeping came daily to replace towels. The hotel is about 2 minutes from the closest bus and 15 minutes from the transit. There's a lovely cafe in the same building as the hotel that provides great lattes and pastries.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Easy access to centre of Paris and the main tourist attractions. Lovely modern hotel, seems as though it’s up and coming as building sites around (these were not a problem). Clean, spacious and overall an amazing hotel! Would definitely stay again.
- Haikel (8/5): Spacious Apart'hotel in a Quite Neighbourhood - If you are tight on budget and looking at staying in a new, pleasant hotel away from the main city area, this hotel is the right choice. I was amazed to find out how spacious the unit was. Everything was brand new, so you do not have to worry about enjoying outdated facilities
That said, however, it would be great if it comes with an iron and ironing board. The toilet bowl to the sink area (in the toilet) is a bit too far. I find the area near the bed to be dusty. Perhaps need to tighten these areas. But my overall experience has been good. I slept soundly at night.
