• Dana (9/5): Amazing stay on the Amalfi Coast! - The property is beautiful. Old world feel, but modern. Spectacular views and location, and the owner, Peter was amazing! From the moment we arrived, Peter greeted us, took us downtown for drinks and showed us around. He arranged for us at our request, dinner reservations, a boat cruise and even got us our moped- delivered to the house! He checked in with us several times during our stay and when my husband had a medical issue arise, Peter jumped in, called his doctor, brought us the medication needed AND made my husband, soup! We would definitely stay at this property again and again! There is nothing that I would say we didn’t like. Certainly the stairs up to the house are challenging with suitcases - BUT the trek up is well worth it!!!
• Ellen (8/5): overall - amazing stay - we wish we could have spent more days there. - We loved Star Fish house - The location breathtaking and our host was delightful, responsive and so helpful. The only critique is that we did not know that parking was offsite and would cost us extra to park and that it would cost additional money to have someone pick us up so we could get to our car.
• Thomas (8/5): We definitely recommend the home. - The views were gorgeous and this home felt like an authentic Italian home. The terrace was lovely and the rooms were spacious. Coffee and a welcoming food basket was provided upon our arrival. The host was very responsive to our needs. We loved the city of Amalfi and were able to use this as a staging point for ferries to Sorrento, Capri, and Pasitano. We visited Ravello by bus and loved it. we visited Minori by bus and didn't enjoy it. We came to find out later that we should have visited maiori. Bus travel was on time when we left Amalfi, but not on time on the return trips, but we were told this would be the case prior to travel. The furniture is aging and the villa needs a bit more TLC. The distance to the City was longer than we expected at 1.5 km. We didn't have a vehicle so we walked downhill to the city each morning. We stayed late each night and didn't feel it was safe to walk home, so we took a taxi and were surpised that the cost was $40 euro one-way, each day. We were able to negotiate this to $30 eruo's each additional night, but we hadn't expected to spend $300 euros on these short taxi-rides.
