- Jean Christophe (10/5): Cheapest place in pps - probably the cheapest place in pps, good internet connection and solar with no blackouts that interrup your stay. Good experience in overall. Very nice host family and happy kids to bring you a smile whenever you are feeling low :) A bit far, but I didnt find it inconvenient as i managed to get around with a mix of bike-rental and backride.

- Rizalia (3/5): - Staff is kind Dirty

- Franziska (8/5): Amazing value for money, basic but good for a few nights. - Super friendly staff, convenient location close to little shops, some very nice restaurants and by tricycle or 30 mins by foot you’re on the main road and a mall. Value for money was unbeatable with even a basic breakfast included. Don’t expect too much as it is a Homestay, facilities basic but even had a little air con and fans, beds and pillows a little hard and could be cleaner in spots like on the shelves and desk but main things like bed and bathroom was clean. Cleanliness in spots. Beds and pillows a bit hard

- Thomas (1/5): Abandoned to myself for my late check in - I arrived at midnight, no one to receive me, no one try to contact me, no one left a note or indications for me...
I had to check every door to find a room open and just take the first bed available I found in the middle of the night

- Joao (8/5): Very good - Great for some resting a bit and keep the luggage. Conditions are not really great, but it's expected by the price.
- Teejay (7/5): Good -
- Fernando (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paula (10/5): Exceptional - The hostel is very basic, don't expect any luxus.
But for the cheap price is more than enough!!
My bed was clean and confortable, the toilet was also clean, and the personal very friendly.
100% recommendable!
- Nathaniel (1/5): Need to do a lot of work on this place in order to rent to customers - There was nothing that I liked about this place and I would never stay here again and I can't recommend this place The location is terrible, the place is not clean,
- Evander (7/5): Good - The staff was really kind and helpful. I would appreciate a lock on the door. There were some on some of the rooms but not the one I was in.
- Janel (9/5): Superb -
- Leonel (4/5): Disappointing -
- Kayla (4/5): Cheap but not so cheerful - Cheap I did not feel safe or comfortable here. This place badly needs renovating/ deep cleaning. Although the bed sheets were fresh & floor was swept etc, the place itself needs work.
Breakfast was 3 slices of dry toast, stale egg & slice of cheese- no cutlery or butter provided.
I suppose when you are paying cheap prices, this is what you get….
We also booked the transfer through here, they arrived almost 2 hours late…. Not the accommodations fault but still not great.
- James (1/5): Bad -
- James (1/5): Bad - Awful place no staff to help with anything. The place smells bad and the people were rude.
- Carlo (7/5): Cant go above and beyond for you just stay in what the policy say - Friendly staff, clean They had the chance to go above and beyond but decided not to since their policy is for you only get breakfast during breakfast and since when you have paid your next day stay but cant go for it
- Marco (7/5): Good - Free coffee and breakfast included. Toilet and shower
- Yasmine (3/5): Poor -
- Žnidar (10/5): Exceptional - We book a room for 2. We got a breakfast, free coffeee and free water. You can also rent a scooter for cheap price. Owner are friendly. Room was clean!
- Yaara (1/5): Bad - The staff was nice and welcoming. The room was very dirty, smelled like mold and the shower was tiny and uncomfortable. We arrived for one night only and unfortunately decided not to stay there, even though the staff was incredibly nice. The location is also not great, pretty far from the airport or the main area with restaurants.
- Mo (5/5): Passable -
- Jack (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dylan (9/5): Great value and an amazing host! - We had a good night at Casaoro Homestay! The host was super sweet and helpful and the neighbourhood was very cute and local. There was one place nearby (next to xpresso coffee) where we could get some food, but there wasn't much more than that. So if you want a busy area, this isn't your place. If you want a local stay, this is great! Airco in the room also was amazing. The host even offers shuttles to El Nido!
Perfect for a short stay.
- Luna (9/5): Superb - The place is perfect for the price you pay, I stayed here already 3 times, my safe space in puerto
- Helena (5/5): Passable - You get what you pay for pretty much. I had no lock on the door. There was no toilettpaper.
- Quinty (1/5): Bad -
- Lloyd (1/5): Bad - I didn’t get to stay here because they said I could check in late but no one was there when I got there. I managed to get in but didn’t know which room was mine and from what I saw, it was rough.
- Moises (10/5): Exceptional - A cheaper homestay in Puerto Princesa, in my opinion was a excellent homestay.
- Adora (5/5): Passable -
- Zac (5/5): Cheap effective accommodation - -Cheap
-lovely owner who contacted us via whatsapp prior to arrival and was very helpful even allowed us to check in at 8am (early flight)
-rooms reasonable for price
-breakfast included
-near a nice little village away from town -Bit too far from town cost around 5AUD on a trike so consider when booking a place in town may be cheaper in the long run (not their fault as we new the location)
- Our original room had a leak which hit the bed( heavy rain and flooding) owner moved rooms which had a dry bed but floor did get wet ( again was torrential rain and the next place we stayed at also leaked a bit.
-no common area or seating avalable
- Lily (9/5): Great stop over after a plane journey with a friendly host - The host was very friendly, once you get the hang of the location it is easy enough to get to the mall and beach, however do keep in mind it is a bit out of the way. Tuk Tuks are cheap and the best way to get around! Was a great stop over after the plane journey :)
- Burch (4/5): You get what you pay for... - It was very cheap, but you do get what you pay for in this case! Breakfast included in that price as well, which was egg and ham with bread, so better than I had expected it to be! Air con works. You need a bike if you stay here as it is very hidden down dirt tracks, also be aware there is no name sign so hard to locate. The rooms are very small and dirty, the bathroom was covered in mould and so were the walls next to the bed. The shower is only cold water but didn't shower due to the bathroom being so unclean. Room is locked with a tiny padlock that could be opened with any key (we tested our backpack padlock key and it opened the room) so doesn't feel very secure. There were bugs and flies inside the bed sheets so we didn't get in the sheets, just slept on top. There was also a dead spider on the toilet seat when we arrived so unsure if the room had been cleaned properly. Extremely noisy and didn't sleep well, you can hear other guests and the family late at night and early in the morning. The only reason we haven't given it less than 4 is because it is so cheap. Only stay if you're willing to deal with the above but personally we would never come back.
- Jelle (10/5): Exceptional - Casaoro Homestay is a steal! We paid less than 800 pesos for 3 people, and got two interconnected rooms that could fit up to 6. Plus, free breakfast included—seriously, for the price, it exceeded all expectations. The Ate who assisted us was super kind and helpful, making our stay even better. Highly recommend for budget-friendly comfort!
- Sirch (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amin (10/5): Exceptional - The lady is really nice and helpful! Its not a luxury stay for sure but for the price theres nothing to complain. I also got a simple breakfast included. They have some friendly cats and the host helped me to book a transfer to el Nido for the local price! Also I only booked dormitory but she gave me a room for myself! -
- Michael (1/5): Bad - NOT AT ALL WAS NOT READY WHEN I CAME.
- Garlan (5/5): Passable -
- Joseph (6/5): Pleasant -
- Glecie (1/5): Bad - It's very dirty.there's a lot of ants and spider.
- Steven (8/5): Very good -
- Vaios (8/5): Very good -
- Loki (7/5): A comfortable stay in a more local part of the city, the lovely locals were very sweet -
- Meggan (10/5): Can't do better for this price ! - Amazing hosts, breakfast included, room with private bathroom
- Sultan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sergio (10/5): Exceptional - The owner is very kind and always available to help you for anything
- Hilal (2/5): Very poor -
- Nadia (8/5): Very good - Cheap and comforable and its so near to Geo Ong haus 😁😁
- Luna (10/5): Exceptional - The place is cozy and perfect for the price, towel, fan, air conditioning and really nice breakfast (toasts eggs cheese and coffee)
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional - Really good people N/A
- Nicole (3/5): Good option if nothing else is available - value for the price, with friendly staff, a nice free breakfast, and great WiFi. However, we had some issues. The room had mold, bugs, and a leaking ceiling, and the motorbike we rented was in very poor condition. There’s also no kitchen, and while they connected us with a tour agency, our pickup was forgotten. Staying here 2-3 nights might be fine, but I wouldn’t recommend a longer stay.
- Rehab (8/5): Very good -
- Karol (9/5): Superb - The owner is very helpful and friendly. She can help you to book a tour or minivan to El Nido. The price is very low and it includes a breakfast. I have got a place in a small dorm, but I was alone for the whole stay. The location is far from the main road, so it's hard to get around because it requires to get to that road first. You can take a tricycle if you don't like to walk.
Also a lot of ants everywhere: in the bathroom, on a table etc. You can't leave any food because ants will gather there.
- Michela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Meresse (6/5): Pleasant -
- Oliveira (1/5): nightmare - absolutely everything is terrible. “This place is the kind of place that takes away Booking’s credibility. I can’t trust the reviews anymore, and I question the truth behind the review comments. Because there’s no way this place has 477 reviews and an average rating of 7.7. It’s an extremely dirty place, absolutely filthy, there’s no toilet paper, it’s super hot, the street is incredibly difficult to access, I was stuck in a place with no nearby supermarket, no restaurant, nothing good nearby, because the only restaurant there is of dubious quality. If you need to eat in a place where you feel safer, there’s absolutely nothing nearby. I had the hardest time getting a Tuk Tuk to go downtown and to come back because they don’t know the place, they didn’t want to take me or bring me back. Sometimes I had to walk to the center, over 3 kilometers, and walk back because I couldn’t get a Tuk Tuk, even though I was willing to pay. It smells horrible, the kitchen has absolutely nothing, despite the owner saying I was lying and that there was a full kitchen, but a full kitchen that has no stove, fridge, microwave, nothing, and it’s absurdly dirty. This is not a place for a family to live, let alone to host guests. And I even had to deal with insults from the owner because I complained to Booking, saying I didn’t want to stay at the place. He called me a liar, said his employee looked for me, when in fact the girl only appeared to give me a room upgrade. I moved to a room that had a crappy air conditioner, which made a horrible noise, but it was better than the fan, which didn’t work properly in the other room. The water was cold, the toilet seat was broken, and the bathroom sink was clogged. It was a real nightmare for me. I’ve been traveling for 10 years, and I’ve never had such a bad experience in accommodation as I had in this place. I’ve traveled to rich countries, to countries poorer than the Philippines, and never stayed in a place so bad, so bad.”
