- Elaine (10/5): Great stay in a lovely village. - Lovely character cottage
Very comfortable stay and a very warm welcome xx
- Bilbo100 (10/5): - A truly charismatic and charming B&B with an extremely friendly host. The room was very pretty. The breakfast room was lovely and the breakfast was just right. Good to be able to come and go as I wished. The pub and restaurant was just across the road and was perfect for lunch, dinner or just a drink. Nothing really.
- Hilary (10/5): - Its a lovely old home, with a really welcoming hostess. I just wish I lived closer
- Brigitte (8/5): - Netter Empfang, Unterkunft entsprach unseren Erwartungen
- Amanda (9/5): -
- Eng Hui (9/5): - We greatly appreciated the hospitality of Kerstin, who was most kind and gracious as a host. Breakfast was a delicious spread of toast, meat, cheese and cereals plated beautifully in exquisite tableware, and Kerstin kindly provided a voucher that allowed us two complimentary drinks at the nearby White Inn (which served some great food too). It was also a unique experience for us staying in a 500 year old property decorated with thoughtful little touches that give the place much charm and character.
- Elaine (9/5): Relaxing stay, good facilities with a great host ! - Lovely quaint cottage with everything you needed x Nothing
- James (10/5): -
- Christine (10/5): Everything you could want from a bed and breakfast stay. - Very comfy bed. Beautiful high quality sheets. Great location. Very private. Great host. Couldn’t have been better.
- Isabelle (10/5): Lovely host ! - The host was friendly and welcoming . We felt very much at home ‘
Comfortable accommodation , good location .
- Anne (8/5): klassieke B & B met vriendelijke eigenaresse - Vriendelijke eigenaresse. Lekker ontbijt.

- Howard (10/5): Exceptional - My driver stayed at the property for one night only. And was extremely happy with the stay There was nothing that was mentioned on anything to be improved.
- Katrina (8/5): Nice village setting - This B&B is in a nice setting. Although it’s on the main road, it’s quite set back and the pub being just opposite this makes for a lovely combination. There is also a convenience store along the road if you wanted to get a morning newspaper etc. The room was very spacious which was nice. Just had to be careful of the beams.
The only thing I didn’t enjoy personally was that the owner was quite headmistress like in terms of rules and what she wanted, which basically made us feel like kids being told off, which is not something I want when paying £118 for an overnight stay, but my partner says that perhaps B&Bs are not for me. Back to standard hotels I think….
- Alistair (10/5): Great stay really friendly host - Great room very comfortable and clean and easy use shower , brilliant host and great breakfast .parking really easy . The weather .
- Rajesh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mantas (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful building and a room. Highly recommend!!
- Frank (8/5): Wouldn't hesitate to stay again - A very old and lovely property. Quite quaint. Breakfast was good, room was very nice. Kirsten is a lovely lady. There's a really nice pub just over the road and this is where you park for the duration of your stay.
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matthew (9/5): A very enjoyable stay with attentive hostess. - It was a very large room with a very comfortable bed and nice armchairs that you could relax in. This is something you rarely find. Breakfast was good and also the pub across the road had good food.
- Linda (10/5): Exceptional - Comfortable & quaint. Great host too! Nothing I didn’t like
- Lauren (10/5): Unique stay in beautiful period B&B - All the little touches were beautiful! Owner was super friendly and helpful. Really unique property. Very clean. Lovely breakfast. Highly recommend to anyone. Nothing!
- Kerstin (10/5): Wonderful stay at a most beautiful B&B - Kerstin is a wonderful host. She makes you feel comfortable and beyond any time. The B&B is a gorgeous, special place. I enjoyed a wonderful breakast in Kerstin's beautiful dining room every morning. Will certainly stay here again when I am in the area. Thank you Kerstin for your great hospitality!!!!!
- Ilse (10/5): Brilliant place to stay with excellent host. - Our room was very clean with king-size very comfortable bed. Breakfast in the old part of the house was excellent . Kirstan is a lovely host who goes out of her way to make sure you enjoy your stay..
- Jamie (10/5): Fantastic room in a beautiful house, property is in a great location, with a wonderful host. -
- Lynda (8/5): Very good -
- Alex (10/5): Comfortable and convenient - This was a fantastic place to stay. Its situated behind a small green, right next to a convenience store and almost opposite a pub, on a main road through the village. Its very accessible, but not oppressively busy. You can park at the pub for free, so no worries there.
On arrival we were greeted by the owner, who showed us around and explained everything perfectly and was very polite. The room was nicer even than the pictures, and has retained the building's original 15th century charm with wooden beams. Its nicely furnished and the bed is ridiculously soft and comfortable. The shower is good - hot and works well - and the bathroom plenty spacious. Due to the age of the building there are some creaks and bumps in the night, which are to be expected and didn't bother us at all. We had an excellent rest here. We also had breakfast on the second morning, prepared by the owner. Nice toast, a delicious fruit smoothie shot, fruit and muesli etc- kept us going for the morning.
We had a lovely stay and would definitely go again.
I'm not going to put this in the dislike section because it didn't really bother me, but the road outside through the village doesn't really quiet down in traffic. I thought it would, but there were still cars going by late at night. We live in a bustling suburb outside a busy town so we're perfectly used to cars going by, but I had thought it might be a little quieter. Brasted is obviously either a happening place or on the way to a happening place.
- Malcolm (10/5): Full of character. We will be back! - Wonderful B&B, full of character with our hostess, Kerstin, who communicated brilliantly before, during and after our stay. The bed was very comfortable and the continental breakfast was also very good. The car parking and complimentary drink arrangements with the excellent White Hart pub across the road are great and enhanced our stay.
- Anni (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (10/5): An excellent B&B, very welcoming, charming and characterful property, would definitely stay again. - The breakfast was perfect for me. I had to leave early for work each day, and each time it was ready exactly on time for me. The bedroom was full of character and the bed was really comfortable. Kirsten was very welcoming and accommodating. I will definitely see if I can stay again if I'm back in the area. Nothing really.
- Barry (9/5): Superb - Breakfast was good , cereal egg on lovely toast plenty tea
- Stephanie (10/5): Character wasn't built in a day, it takes centuries - The exceptional host, couldn't do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble. Very approachable.
The b&b is the oldest house in the village and dated back to the 15th century. The decor made me feel at home, as it reminded me of my nans house who sadly passed away this year. Warm and welcoming.
The room itself was comfortable, inviting and a joy to find different bits and pieces all around, we were still spotted stuff on our last morning. It was a quirky B&B and would love to come and stay again, especially in the hot weather as the room stayed relatively cool throughout our stay.
We loved the less waste motive with the different eclectic mix of jars, pots and containers which were used for tea, and coffee facilities.
All in all, if you are looking for somewhere with some history, and character this is the place to book. Throughly enjoyed our stay. Nothing
- Sian (8/5): Relaxing and enjoyable stay - Old, interesting property. Across the road from the White Hart pub.; thoughtful touch having a voucher for a glass Prosecco. It might be too quaint and old fashioned for some people.
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Caroline (8/5): Would happily return if in the area again - Booked very late and was grateful to find a room on my route home after a long drive. Host was charming and breakfast in her home was delicious. Only issue that travellers need to be aware of, is that the wifi in the room did not work - I am on Vodafone and service would not allow me to access the internet so I needed Wifi. No direct internet line in the annexe where my room was - just a plug in booster device which would not allow me to access WiFi from the internet line in the main house adjacent to the room. These plug in devices rarely work in my experience.
I was able to park my car in the pub opposite - The White Hart - where I had a a delicious supper - but overnight someone drove into my car and left without leaving a notice on my windscreen. This was a big car park and my Discovery was nowhere near an entrance so I do not know how this could have happened. Non existent wifi in the annexe where the room I booked was.
- Sandra (9/5): Lovely break to visit National Trust properties. - From the start of booking Kerstin welcomed us via email, also met at the door on arrival. Attention to detail was excellent it could not have been better. Such a lovely host. Location great and pub across the road welcoming and excellent fish and chips. I was also very lucky to have a lovely couple stay in other room to sit with at breakfast. Great breakfast, fresh fruit, yogurt, toast with home made marmalade and jam. 🥰 All excellent
- Jane (8/5): Very good -
- Nicolas (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful room, location and service. Nothing
- Nina (10/5): Wonderful cottage and fantastic host - Lovely place to stop. The bed was very comfortable. My room was spotless. Breakfast was good and the homemade jam so brilliant, I bought 2 jars for home. Definitely would stay again.
- Christopher (9/5): A happy discovery - Breakfast lovely. Unusually, slept very well away from home. Friendly and efficient hostess Privacy from high street - either curtains closed or people could see in from outside
- Sally (9/5): Superb -
- Lionel (10/5): magical - everything nothing
- Tim (9/5): Superb -
- Terry (10/5): A well needed break in a beautiful part of the country. Lots to see and do in the area. - The location was a really lovely village and the cottage we stayed in was very attractive.
The breakfast was excellent; good choice of food. The host, Kerstin, is a lovely lady who made us feel very welcome. Definitely recommend.
- Benjamin (9/5): A lovely cozy cottage in a quiet village just outside of London - A lovely cozy cottage in a quiet village just outside of London. It's close to a number of English Heritage and National Trust sites and also great for walking. There's a couple of pubs in the village and a few restaurants in the places nearby. Kersten is great, she does an excellent job of looking after you. Breakfast was excellent! The place does require a car to travel around and local taxi companies are unreliable.
- Stephen (8/5): Very good -
- Vicky (9/5): Superb - Returning guest and always find The Old Manor house cosy and welcoming.
- Sally (9/5): Superb -
- Thompson (10/5): Exceptional -
- Deborah (9/5): Superb -
- Andrew (10/5): A home from home, I cannot recommend enough. - The decor, the location and host were fantastic. A very comfortable bed and all exceptionally clean. nothing it was all very good.
- Julie (8/5): Good place to stay if you are looking for somewhere with character. - The hostess was very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. There were several good places to visit in close proximity, including Emmett's gardens and Hever Castle. The road close to the property was very busy and quite noisy.
- Thomas (10/5): Blown away by this fantastic B&B, such a beautiful room fantastic service and a lovely breakfast. - Breakfast and room was absolutely amazing for the price, the host was lovely great nights sleep in a fantastic room at a very fair price! Fantastic ! Wi-Fi was poor
- Lisa (10/5): - A lovely, very old village property with lots of original features. A comfortable stay with a perfect host who was friendly, positive, quick to reply and charming. Good breakfast included. It’s worth being aware that this is a very old house with its own character, creaky floorboards and all! Good pub across the road for food. Walking distance on pavement (20-25 mins) to Westerham Golf Club for wedding functions.
- mike (10/5): Great experience. - Host was very friendly and welcoming. Accomodation was comfortable and set within a beautiful old building. Lovely breakfast. Would recommend as great place to stay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Lovely homely B&B - with such a lovely personal welcome too. Great breakfast as well! The bedroom was quite quirky which we liked! Great pub opposite where we had a great supper. Thank you!
- Mark (10/5): - Kerstin is a wonderful host and makes you feel most welcome. We stayed in the upstairs double bed room and it was very comfortable and spacious with a very nice living area. Upstairs and downstairs guests need to be mindful of each other as it is an old building and noise travels. We enjoyed a continental breakfast both days which is served in Kerstin's part of this lovely house. We enjoyed a very nice meal at the pub across the road and received a complimentary drink each from Kerstin. Overall we really enjoyed our stay but please note if you are a light sleeper (like me) then best to take some ear plugs as the nearby A25 is a busy road but this did not impact our stay.
- Paula (10/5): Very comfortable room and yummy breakfast! - We stayed just one night at the Old Manor House - the double room was very spacious and comfortable and Kerstin such a kind and thoughtful hostess.
- Debbie (10/5): Excellent - Amaxing place we will stay there again and amazing host
- Gary (10/5): - The property dates to the late 1400s and is a listed building. As such, "improvements" are understandably highly restricted. Respect this when staying here, and you will enjoy the experience... Kerstin is a wonderful host and I feel for her when she is confronted with "the floors squeak" and "I hear the water cistern filling up..." Five stars from me...
- Eleanor (10/5): Charming country retreat - Charming B & B. Beautiful room created with love and style. Friendly owner and lovely full English breakfast, with other choices for people who don't like the full English
- Caroline (10/5): Lovely stay - Lovely owner and very welcoming. Very comfortable room and excellent breakfast.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Old house, lovely room full of character and charm
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely unique B&B! The host was amazing and covered everything we needed to know before our stay! We had a lovely welcome and catered for all our needs. We visited because we was attending a wedding at Westerham golf club the B&B was the perfect location!
We was recommended by a friend who also attended a wedding at the same venue the previous year and highly recommended the B&B.
- Rebecca (10/5): Business meeting - Absolutely brilliant - superb --- definitely will book again
- Sarah (10/5): Quaint and quirky and really pretty - nice stay - Amazing old house, absolutely beautiful and I found it comfortable. The owner is charming.
