- Luca (9/5): Excelent. - Micul dejun excelent. Curatenia, personalul. Nu mi-a placut faptul ca trebuie sa iesi afara din pensiune pentru a ajunge la piscina.

Faptul ca desi am rezervat o camera cu balcon când am ajuns la locație ni s-a spus ca nu mai au disponibilă o astfel de camera deși în acel moment o doamnă cameristă pregătea una. Prețul de 690 de RON pe noapte în astfel de cazuri nu se justifică.

- Manuela (10/5): Totul la superlativ! - Locația este excelenta, camera a fost spațioasă si curată. Micul dejun are in componenta produse naturale pregătite in casa. Întreg personalul este foarte amabil, dar fiindcă am comunicat mai mult cu doamna Bianca, as vrea sa o evidențiez in mod special pentru răbdarea si bunul-simt de care a dat dovada pe tot parcursul șederii. Atmosfera relaxantă la piscina si spa, salina si sauna completează starea de bine resimțită in acest complex.De asemenea apreciez specialitățile culinare deosebite preparate pentru cina. Poate ceva mai multe fructe la micul dejun

Avand in vedere si faptul ca noi am fost intr-un weekend prelungit, zona spa si piscina exterioara au devenit cumva un fel de ștrand comunal....lucru care pe noi nu ne-a incantat...

- seven (9/5): Foarte bine dar se poate și mai... - Frecventam locatia cam de 10-12 ani asa ca avem o privire de ansamblu si în evolutie ! Se prezinta bine in timp, spatiile de cazare s-au extins ceea ce face întretinerea mai "complicată" dar cu putin efort personalul face față . Am regasit cu bucurie serviciile SPA, piscinele, noul paviment al piscinei exterioare lucruri perfect functionale rezistând timpului. Multe lucruri bune... Mobilierul piscinei exterioare, umbrelele si sezlongurile de pe terasa in stare avansata si chiar periculoasa de degradare !!! Micuța "fabrică de gheață" de la saunele umede functioneaza abia spre ora 18.00 !!! Restaurantul din incinta este mult prea "original" : 80% dintre rețete contin invariabil vin, coniac, usturoi, majoritatea fara nici o legatura cu cele originale !!! Preturile vinurilor din meniu sunt absolut nejustificate intr-o zona viticola in care clientii le pot gasi in orice market !!! Oricum clienții "migreaza" către alte optiuni ceea ce este neplacut si nedorit pentru o locatie cu atatea lucruri bune de oferit ! Sunt convins ca ar fi mult de câstigat daca ar fi mai bine prezentata si pusa in valoare integrarea într-o tabara de sculptura lucru inedit și atractiv !!!... poate un catalog de prezentare !!! Am fost și vom reveni cu drag la ...Maciuca cu prieteni (si din alte zone ale Europei) carora le-am trezit curiozitatea si care au fost încântați !!! Cu atât mai mult ne dorim ca lucrurile sa fie "și mai perfecte " 👍🤗😷 !

- Peter (9/5): Superb - It’s a very well equipped retreat ideal for local tourists and tourists driving through the country.
- Vasile (10/5): Welcoming staff and clean premises - Very hospitable and welcoming staff, willing to help and make your stay safe and enjoyable. We appreciated the opportunity to experience the Spa with different types of saunas and steam rooms, with pools indoors and outdoors. The outdoor bar was open and there were plenty to choose from, including hot or cold beverages and ice creams or smoothies. The rooms were clean and spacious, with TV aerial and access to online platforms such as Netflix or Prime. The food, cooked by Chef Ionut Laba, a competitor in the Chefi la Cutite, cooked delicious fresh food for everyone, even for fussy eaters. Thank you to the kitchen staff and to the restaurant staff for the way they served us with a smile on their faces, even on 40 degrees weather. The dining area was indoors and outdoors, with the possibility to see the beautiful countryside landscape or stay indoors where air conditioning was available. The parking was free and there were plenty of spaces available to use. The bar was 24/7 with possible drinks available late at night. A beautiful location on top of the hill with opportunities to explore and extend your stay.

Sadly, through no fault of the hotel this year was less enjoyable and that is because of guests...every year the quality of the guests decline, they are loud and sometime rude so I'm afraid this was the last time I visited Forest retreat.

The massage professionals were excellent The location and food was excellent HUGE ISSUE OF THE SPA AND OUTDOOR POOL NOT OPEN UNTIL 10am. How does one stay healthy if I cannot swim early in the morning. Very very poor management and understanding of human health. 1. Advertising a Spa hotel and then having to pay a daily rate to use the facilities is totally unacceptable. 2. No small size portions no for children. Therefore increasing the budget huge financial outlay at the end of the stay. 3. Having a poolside bar that had nothing but smoothies and alcohol. 4. Having an ice cream area at the pool bar that had no ice cream in it for enjoyment of adults and children. 5. No poolside snacks. 6. Dangerous tiles around the indoor pool and children and adults were falling and sustaining injury every day. Clearly these large times are not NON-SLIP. They are a danger. No-one acknowledged this and doing nothing about this health and safety issue. 7. We booked the large house and we’re put into the main hotel rooms, yet the house was free of occupancy. 8. Please be honest in your advertising and please respond when clients ask for information. My husband is Romanian, yet could not contact the resort in order to speak with anyone pre- arrival.

The reason I gave a lower note is that the apartament provided was not what I had on the image provided. I have paid £195 for two night and the conditions were not as expected. The apartament had a lounge but TV wasn’t working and the facilities were not 4 stars!

- Otilia (7/5): Not received as expectations - The pool inside, the food even if it was very expensive, the atv, the landscape. bikes didn.t work, atvs worked only one 1 day, one piece, the outside pool was cool in august and not clean, we paid a lot for a double room and it was in the attic, with a glass in top, it was not nice at all, with a shared balcony. The room was ok.ish as surface and clean.ish.

More careful when scheduling massages, as everyone should be able to benefit from an appointment while staying at the place. (Issue : few masseuses)
