- Michelle (8/5): - 6 room guest house very close to UConn campus. House is very old I suppose historic with original uneven floors. Bathroom was nicely updated but small. Hosts were very nice. May stay again due to location. Wish there was a sidewalk or walking path along Storrs Rd.

- Michael (8/5): - I enjoyed staying here. The staff was warm, friendly, and helpful, and the place was clean and comfortable with a nice historic flavor to it. However, the water pressure from the sink faucet was so weak that it was difficult to wash your hands, I had to request soap for the shower, and the breakfast foods in addition to juice and coffee, were limited to some store bought pastries and cookies. I would stay here again because it was comfortable, the staff was very nice, and the adjacent restaurant was convenient. But it did leave some things to be desired.

- Diana (4/5): - My stay was in the winter. The inn was quaint and adequate overall for a one night stay, but the walls were thin and you could hear the guests in hall/ rooms . The bed was very comfortable, and the bedding / towels were clean . No rug so the floor was super cold . It was freezing on the 2nd floor where the rooms were, and the temp was 60 . At night before bed, I had to ask to have the temp raised but they adjusted it to only 65. In the morning , when I asked again because it was freezing, they finally raised it to 70, saying they didn’t want to over heat the guests upstairs . I was absolutely freezing, couldn’t wait to get in my car to warm up !

- Karen (6/5): - The bathroom was very nice. Plenty of towels were offered. The bed was comfortable, but sheets could have been more thoroughly cleaned. Breakfast was old and just a tiny bit of half and half left. Property needs updating including outside. I would not stay again.

- Jennifer (10/5): Perfect Spring Hill Inn - Quaint and quiet for our evening check in. Staff made everything easy by texting a code to a lock box with key, easy to find with instructions in the text. I was very pleased with how easy and hassle free everything was. Very clean, comfortable, crisp sheet bed. Had a great nights sleep and we were off, keys on the dresser early next morning. Wish we were staying longer, the grounds were beautiful early that morning!

- Linda (6/5): Ok place for a night - It is a self check in with lock boxes. That worked fine. The room was spacious and clean, but it got very cold overnight! It felt like there was no heat. There didn’t seem to be any way to adjust anything. Bed was comfortable and it was quiet.
- Cynthia (10/5): solo stay was just what I needed - The room was very comfortable and clean. The outside by the road was a bit run down and so I went passed it because I was looking for something more presentable just like I saw on line
- Steven (4/5): - The property is essentially self service. This is not clear when booking. Arrived 6:30 pm. Outside lighting was not on (though was later) and no instructions were given for how to get in. We called someone who was remote and she walked us through it. Any signs were hard to see in the dark. Also didn’t see the hallway thermostat to control temperature in room. So room was chilly. No instructions on that either.
- Anisia (8/5): - This property was very convenient. Easy self check in and check out. Very Clean. Not sure I would “vacation” here. Somewhat bare bones. That said, it was perfect for a one night stop over. I would recommend that the heat be turned up. Although I like sleeping in cool weather with covers, 60 degrees for a late January night in an old building was a bit too cool!
- Christine (6/5): - Property is charming and exactly what I expected. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are clean. Huge drawback if you want to sleep well is that the thermostat is in the hallway and you should be prepared to not sleep because the rooms are like hot boxes in a sweat shop.

- James (6/5): - A nice property, very quiet with easy parking including very helpful EV charging. No staff onsite, though, check in was finding a key in a lock box. A bar or restaurant would be welcome addition. Rooms are older, comfortable but simple and small.

- Bisila (10/5): - The best of staying here is the wonderful family who manage the property. Check in process us great, very clean and quiet. We will come back anytime we visit our daughter in UConn
- Tina (4/5): - The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. The bathroom shower very small. Limited water pressure. No inn keeper at all on the property during our stay. Only available through phone or text. The continental breakfast consisted of store bought muffins and croissants. No jam or butter for the croissants. No oatmeal available even though stated there would be. Workers working on the property at 8am in the morning drilling and hammering…We will not be back here. This was not a B and B!

- Dalya (10/5): - We stayed for one night as a family of three. It is a sweet inn with everything you need. The beds and duvet were very comfortable. There was coffee and some baking goods in the morning. March is still cold and not too green but I can't imagine how beautiful the area would be in the spring.

No one around but manager was responsive and helpful by text. Old inn with creaking floors and doors so once someone on floor was up and about, everyone heard them. Cute, but not sure I would stay again.

Super cute, quaint comfortable room. Extremely clean. Nice note left for us on checking out. Lovely grounds. Breakfast was delicious blueberry muffins and coffee for us. A lovely assortment of fruits and yogurts available. Would highly recommend this inn if you are in the UCONN area.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Charming night away - My wife and I were looking for a 1 night stay on Long Island 's East End. Prices and length of stay required shut us out. After a great day experiencing the North Fork of LI we took the Orient Pt. ferry at 7PM which was delightful as it crossed the LI Sound during sunset. The innkeepers were excellent in msny ways. Very Covid conscious and we felt totally comfortable in that regard. No surprises. We had king bed in slightly larger rm which was adequate. There were many extra touches that weloned us such as Dove chocolates, better toiletries, a self service included breakfast with fresh muffins, fruit, etc. which were individually wrapped in keeping with their exceptionally clean facility. There is an outside area for relaxing which we didn't use. The bed linen was inviting but we both found the mattress a bit too soft with the feel of a water bed. The Inn is a very well maintained older home with a modern bathroom. The pricing was right and we would stay again.

- Cara (10/5): Sweet and comfy - We enjoyed our stay at Springhill Inn, the owners were attentive, Inn and our room was spotless. They offered a contactless entrance and left breakfast for us, in keeping w covid safety rules. Attention to detail made this a comfortable stay. We would definitely stay here again.

- Amy (10/5): Great Little Country Inn - This was a very quaint little country inn. It was very quiet and private. My daughter and I were visiting colleges near by and it was a great location. Gorgeous new bathroom. Very clean. The bed was comfortable. The owners made us feel welcome. There was no contact because of Covid but we felt safe that they did a good job keeping us safe. I highly recommend it! Great historical house!

- Paul (10/5): A Delightful Place to Stay near UConn - A friend and I stayed at this inn near the University of Connecticut as a jumping off point for a weekend tour of Connecticut's Quiet Corner. The room was good-sized with comfortable beds and a large bathroom with a walk-in shower. Dining options aren't numerous, especially in the immediate vicinity, though we had a nice dinner at a restaurant about a 10-12 minute drive away.
- Alejandra (10/5): Interesting, warm and comfortable. - I rented Spring Hill Inn while visiting UConn with my daughter. It’s less than 5 minutes away and the stay was fantastic. Lee welcomed us and greeted us warmly. He was happy to to share about the history of the home built in the 1700s. Lots of character but at the same time very well appointed and comfortable with renovated bathroom and very comfortable beds. There was delicious tea, yogurt and freshly cut fruit in the morning with a yummy coffee cake home baked by Diane. We felt spoiled and welcomed and will definitely return there whenever I need to be in the area.

We did not see them until we were about to leave since we came in late at night. A note at the coffee station would have been enough to remind us to look there. But this was a very minor detail. This was a lovely place and I' be happy to recommend it.

- Emma (6/5): Pleasant room - The room was perfectly laid out exactly as was presented online but it was disappointing that there was no one on site when we arrived . Obviously my interpretation of an ‘Inn’ for B & B is very different to that that is being offered . Breakfast is a cold continental brought in by Lee, the owner who is charming and very hospitable. Just a pity he and his wife don’t live on site and make a cooked breakfast to give it that personal feel.
- Paul (10/5): Historic Inn - I’m always intrigued with historic places. This house is nearing its 300th anniversary. There are wide plank chestnut floors, and all the charm and quirkinesses of a house built that long ago. It has been modernized nicely. Central air and heat. Comfortable and very clean. Lee and Diane are friendly and welcoming. Many little things like a bowl on the nightstand for jewelry or a corkscrew are already there and ready for guests. This is my new favorite place to stay when I visit Storrs.
- Alison (8/5): - Terrific location for business near the college. Room had a nice, renovated private bath and although I was not able to meet with the owners in person, he communicated via text and easy to get in touch with. My only issue was the rooms being quite close to one another and hearing other guests clomp around and loud talking while trying to rest. I popped in some earplugs and that did the trick. Extremely nice owners; I appreciated the visit.
