Guest Reviews
- Catalino (4/5): - I saw couple roaches in my room and a dead one on the hallway. I have stayed in hotels in Baguio and this is the first that I saw roaches..
- Regine (4/5): - Towels has holes in them. Although its clean, manangement should not use towels that are worn out.
- Rory (10/5): - Excellent location right up from the rose garden in Burnham Park. Taxis and Jeepneys just out the front door. Located in the middle of a bunch of cafes and restaurants. Night market is a few minutes walk away. If you want easy access to central Baguio, this is a good place. FYI, hotel is up the elevator next to Watsons on the third floor. There's only a small sign for the hotel at the road, so look for Watsons and you're there.
- Edwardo (8/5): - Nice and cozy but hopefullh they can provide more pillow and blankets
- Raymond (4/5): - Good location however
- Reyland (2/5): - The pictures are kinda of misleading. I booked two rooms and both were like staying in a cave without air ventilations. We didn’t stay the whole night and left 6 hours later.
- Brian (4/5): - Elevator was out and no one offered to help with bags going up 3 flights of stairs. I was with wife and Mother in Law. Window shown in Expedia was not a window, it was bricked up. No Air con and no window makes for warm stuffy room even in Baguio.
- Iurii (2/5): - Here is what you’re paying for, Terrible soundproofing, non-courteous staff yapping loudly in the hallway early in the morning at 7 waking up people that are staying at the hotel. Dusty room all around, dirty shower, half-working shower head, barely any shampoo and soap, no AC.
- Maria Michaela (10/5): - It was an okay hotel. Staff is not always available but thats expected with the price we paid.
- Ruby claire (4/5): - Location is very convenient. CONS: No aircon on the room, just ceiling fan connected to a light so you have to sleep with the lights ON if you want to use the fan. No Vault and Towels were worn out 😅
- Marvin (4/5): - Just an ordinary inn. Sink in the bathroom was clogged. Floor in the shower was sleepery. There's only one trash can located inside the bathroom.
- Restituto (10/5): - Situated in the heart of Burnham Park perfect location for travelers like me who prefer to take public transportations. So close to restaurants and shops. Definitely a place to stay for budget friendly folks.
- Gerry (4/5): - Location and condition
- mario (8/5): - The room didn't have air conditioner
- Valentino (2/5): - There's a mice in the room .
- Juvy (2/5): - The property has the appearance of an old run down building. The service was terrible that it does not offer late check out. Parking is very limited and very steep for small or low height cars.
- Zernan (6/5): - Anyone can enter the property
- Racquel (10/5): We had a great time, and would come again - Great place. Very comfortable.
- Rolando (2/5): - Terrible room
- Rosette (10/5): - Loading and unloading is in limited time in front of the hotel due to narrow road and one way.....
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not recommended - I felt unsafe during our 1 night stay as there is no safety lock on the door. The room has a fake window. Ventilation is poor. The bathroom shows some black spots which maybe toxic moulds. The hotel is very outdated for a modern city like Baguio. I didn't get good value for my money due to uncleanness of the room.
The hotel is located in close proximity to the jeepney stand.
- Noli (10/5): - This property needs some real renovation and love
- Francisco (8/5): - There was unending road construction and noise. The lobby is 3 floors up from street level. It's a struggle when you have a lot of travel luggage. The dirt and dust may go away when the road projects are over but right now, it's a bother. The noise from the other businesses, well.
- Faye (6/5): - There's a bad smell inside the room.
- Mazher (10/5): - The location is fantastic. You need to go up to the third floor for the hotel lobby. Fortunately they have an elevator. It’s congested as your right in the heartbeat of the city. The main attractions, parks and shopping is literally across the street. It’s a little hazardous attempting to cross the road as there are no real sidewalks
- JEANNE (10/5): - great place
- Emiliano (4/5): - They only give us 2 Towels, which are dirty white and very thin. We requested another towels but you have to pay.
- Amalia (4/5): - Staff was friendly and accommodating but the room was terrible. No mat in the bathroom it’s dangerous for seniors. Only 2 towels which are old and worn out. No coffee maker, hair dryer, even glass for water. The closets smells and the ceiling got all cracked. Location is okay but I would rather stay in some places further but with better accommodation.😭
- YAKOV (6/5): - No hot water , and also no room service.
- FROLEIN (10/5): - The hotel, location and amenities excellent.
However staffs have poor customer service. Not friendly and not welcoming.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Decent - Great location, well maintained and a decent price.
- richard (8/5): - nice one
- Herminio (2/5): - Fast internet connection. Location was spot on. I did not feel safe. The door of my hotel room was likened to the thinnest plywood and the door lock is so cheap. The sfaff was not attentive. Mosquitos and cockroach in the room.
The bathroom exhaust was not sufficient , molds were on the ceiling of the bathroom .
I will not recommend this place to anybody.
- Ferdinand (8/5): - Car park is not secure. Parking inside the property at your own risk causes stress.
- josephine (2/5): - The visual photos from website is way different in actual.im diss apointed to this place and i would not recomend this place to anyone.
- Zussane (2/5): - Pictures were deceiving and front desk design is too promising. Bathroom obviously needed some scrubbing. Bath towels are very old, overused, and literally dirty white… They only give 2 bath towels per day, and will only replace if you request. Otherwise, no new towels provided. We asked for 2 extra towels on the first day and were charged 50 pesos per towel due to the limit of 2 new towels per day. The next 2 days, we did not even get towel replacements; we were not informed we had to request them each day to receive new ones.
On the last day, I directed the shower head to the corner of the bath tub while I waited for the water to heat up. Tiny black worms/maggot-looking things came off from that corner… For the amount I spent here, I don’t think it is worth it. I recommend looking somewhere else.
- Christopher (8/5): - It's always consistent, close to Burnham Park. Clean property but rooms could use better lighting. Great for the money and a super pleasant place
- Helen (10/5): - Maganda
- Christopher (4/5): - Staff allowed their very noisy kids to play for hours up and down the hallway. Allowed smoking at end of hallway causing nasty smoke to come into the room (no aircon so air circulation was needed). Ants in the room.
- Christopher (10/5): - We stay here frequently... this is a great location close to Burnham Park and the Orchidarium. The Premier double room has a wonderful city view.
I accidentally booked our room for the wrong date, but the front desk kindly fixed the error.
My only real complaint is that you cannot use a debit or credit card at the front desk; those transactions must be paid online.
- Frederick (2/5): - The heat inside room and the smell inside the room smelled like the previous occupants.
- Cynthia (8/5): - Location is very convenient.
- Renato (8/5): Great stay - clean, easy to check in
- Verified traveler (6/5): Dark room - Ceiling fan is automatically connected to its light so it is hard to sleep with the ceiling lights on while the fan is working. Room is too hot and its window is just a an inch away from other block. Very dark room without lights. No floor mats for the bathroom. Very basic. No complimentary drinking water. The positive side is that hotel is located near everything.
- Rolly (6/5): - Like: Close proximity to city life. Water dispenser for hot drinks or noodles and warm water for drinking.
Less than a mile walk to SM Baguio mall.
Dislike: Didn’t have a good straight sleep, because of the noise coming from the outside and below and the chime from the elevator, and our room is close to the stairs, elevator, and door leading to outdoor smoking area,
Lack of toiletries, and the hot shower is not continuous,
- John (6/5): - The property is close to everything that is Baguio. But it’s defintely and older hotel with little or no amenities. Good money savior but will not impress your friends or family.
- Michael (10/5): - Great place to stay but the noise a bit loud specially late night
- Scott (6/5): - Excellent location near Rizal monument and Burnham Park. Easy to get a cab in this area. Inexpensive rates. Cleanliness is OK but not great. Loud area due to jeepnies and traffic but OK. Limited amenities compared to other hotels. Maintainance work going on during our stay added to noisy atmosphere. Laundry service is a plus.
- Angel Faith (8/5): - Hands down to Metro Pine Inn for being a pet friendly hotel. Upon entering the room, you can smell the bleach they used to disinfect the room which is good that you know they make sure that pets are safe and that no diseases can spread however, the bleach is also harmful for the pets. Upon checking their cleaning tools they used Zonrox brand which is harmful for pets. Maybe the hotel can use a more pet friendy disinfectant since each guest with pet pay the pet fee that they imposed. Aside from that, the hallway is always dirty with foot prints and that it is rarely cleaned by its staff. The thrash bin besides the water dispenser is not being collected—which I observed, in Dec 30 the Jollibee trash thrown by one of the guess was still there by the morning of January 1. Overall, I would still recommend this for pet owners to stay, since there is limited pet friendly hotel in Baguio.
- DIgna (6/5): - Centrally located in the city of Baguio. Walking distance to eateries, grocery, pharmacy, Burnham Park (tourist destination) and easy to flag taxi cabs.
- Leonora (10/5): - Big enough room.Good location, friendly staffs
.
- Cesar (10/5): - Recommendable hotel to stay
- Mikaella (6/5): - The hotel is conveniently located right across Burnham Park. It’s right next to a Puregold and Good Taste restaurant. The room is a good size, but you get what you pay for. The hallways were not very clean, I can see mildew in the tile in the bathroom. For the amenities, they only provided one sachet of shampoo (despite there being two of us) and one small soap. There is no blow dryer nor clothing iron. But if you are not picky and just need a place to rest, this might be for you.
- Michael (4/5): - I love that the property is located nearby Burnham Park, SM, fastfood. It has nice parking area.
Our rooms does have a window blockage.
Hotel is noisy and felt like staying in a college dormitory. You can hear everything in the evening.
Staff are accommodating.
Also, maybe its just normal that they charge you for extra blankets and toilet paper which is not normal in western countries. Maybe i am wrong. Price is reasonable. You get what you paid for.
- Ara A (6/5): - No slippers and toiletries. No housekeeping. Room is clean. Thin walls, can hear the conversation from the other room.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Near in the city. Accessible, i like the free water. Verygood in materials for desifection for protection againts covid transfer. Approachable staff. They are kind. One thing that i dont like is no window views
- Rachel (8/5): Clean hotel - Great location near Burnham park and session road. Easy to find. Staff are very accommodating.
- Mohamed Saeed (4/5): - Not so good .Ants all over, shower weak and no curtain so all the time wet floor. Blankets too thin, bed sheets dirty, no fridge and no kettle to make hot water . I would not there again although location was good
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The inn is near to key locations.
Location:
Location is 5/5, below the hotel is watson's pharmacy, eatery, restaurants, ukay-ukay.
Near Restaurants / Eatery:
What we liked about it is the Ikang's eatery where you can have lugaw/gotto for budget meals or just craving for something hot during the very cold night in baguio.
It is also across Good Taste restaurant, cheap, taste OK.
Only draw back is the inn does not offer Food and the deluxe room does not fully shield you from the sunlight.
Noise until 1AM, you hear the karaoke and other band noises across this location.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was good.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Hotel staff are great
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Staff are courteous. Room is spacious; however, the water pressure on the fourth floor is weak.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Affordable and accessible
- Verified traveler (10/5): - A comfortable place to stay - spacious, clean, and near to some of Baguio's must-visit places.
- Andy (8/5): - It's located exactly as we preferred it to be. The staffs are courteous.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The room is spacious and equipped with a strong WiFi connection, it is also located right at the heart of Baguio, very near to some popular tourist spots like Burnham Park, and also the famous Good Taste Restaurant. Staff's are accommodating and are responsive to some of our personal requests and inquiries.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Elevator in Baguio hotels not common. Nice feature here.
- Love (10/5): - Nice place and clean. Close to Burnham park and restaurants.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Just a few steps away from Good Taste Restaurant (literally) which is a good thing for me ☺️
- DonnahSamson (6/5): - Location was perfect.
I didnt like the bathroom though. There was no rag That absrorbs water wll so it gets wet around the room when you are From the bathroom.
There was no proper blanket. The cloth covering the bed is your blanket too. There is only one pillow and it’s too small.
There is no electric kettle inside the room. We were only given 1 shampoo and 1 conditioner though we booked for 2 persons in a room.
- Vince (10/5): - Very near from famous destinations in Baguio
- Divinia (10/5): - Highly recommended! Friendly staff and they have great view of burnham park on the balcony. Super accessible in terms of transportation and there's a grocery nearby and alot of restaurants around. Thumbs up! ❤️👍
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Overall great place. And location ,food and shopping close by .
- Verified traveler (8/5): - close to center of city, more hot water in the shower!
- Rex (10/5): - Very close to Good Taste restaurant and Burnham Park.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - the soundproof of wasn't that well, can hear noise from outdoor clearly
but fair price for everything
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wifi is weak. The rest is excellent
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Its clean and nice
- Verified traveler (10/5): - sana may slipper, ang lamig kasi
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Love the price great for the price how little worn but very acceptable considering it cost less than half of what everything else does great staff will stay here again
- She (10/5): - I love the place. Excellent location 👌
- RS (8/5): - Heater is working well, but the shower is very hard to use. Its inconvenient holding the shower while bathing.
- Ann Roselle (8/5): Long weekend getaway w/ friends - Location is great, just a walking distance to Burnham Park and Market. Besides the Good Taste 24 hrs resto which is very affordable and w/ great servings. As to the room, we heard several noises outside / next door room so I suggest that you have and need to improve the room wall to avoid disturbances from other guests. By the way, thanks for the souvenir (home display) you have given us.
- anac (8/5): - Great location. Close to Burnham Park. Room however has no window.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The place was clean, and I really liked the Comfort Room; better than most hotels I've gone to. Place was very accessible, and the staff were friendly.
The only thing I didn't like is that there was a musty smell in the room that couldn't really be removed naturally due to the window being next to a building. I had to leave the exhaust on and the place became very comfortable afterwards.
- Astrid (6/5): - The property is near town.
Need to bring your own slippers.
- Bernard (6/5): - The water pressure for the shower is weak.
- socorro (8/5): - it's good and the room was cozy
- Nitch (10/5): - The room is wide
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Nice and comfortable inn
- Verified traveler (4/5): no thanks - Where to start? This hotel is one noisy place. My room had horizontal blinds, but not on the inside as usual, but on the outside. In a slight breeze, they rattle a lot, in strong wind they bang on the window; very disturbing! The halls have tile floors to amplify the noise. The stairs and balcony doors in the halls both funnel noise into the rooms. The shower has a tiny heater that works for 1 minute, then stops for 2. There is almost no water pressure, just a trickle of water in the shower. The towels were white at one time, now grey. There are no sheets to cover you, just a cheap thin blanket. It is cool, so need more. I could not insert plugs into most the power outlets. There is a karaoke bar and a lot of traffic, so very noisy. The elevator beeps when it arrives, which is annoying. I have never seen that in a hotel before. The tv is tiny. One good thing is that wifi worked well. There are much better hotel options.
- Abegail (8/5): Warm hospitality - Kudos to the staff and hotel manager, very hospitable and warm. I'll be back
- Tin (10/5): - Very nice place and easy access to the city
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Near city.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The accommodation of the staff especially pau on the front desk. He gave us options on were we can spend less of our money.
- josephine (10/5): Highly recommended👍 - Tho emenities were only basic, the location was superb! Plenty of restos, not to mention Good Taste😀 and just a stones throw away from central Baguio... Everything is just walking distance.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Accessible to almost major areas in the city.
- cheche (4/5): - the staff are nice, but our bathroom smells urine. pillows are flat no slippers or bathroom rugs. the other guest are slamming the doors in the middle of the night.
- daisy may (8/5): - i love the location of the hotel very accessible.
- Joshua (8/5): A Good Stay for a few days - Pretty clean and comfortable not bad for the price. Hot water would cutoff and on while taking a shower. A little annoying but I got used to it. Water pressure was great. Wish I had a bigger blanket at night since it gets cold as I was sharing with my wife. Location was decent as I was close to Burnham Park, a few restaurants and a few 711's. A 5 min taxi ride to Session Rd. and a few minutes longer up the road to SM Mall.
