- Antje (8/5): Top locatie en vriendelijk welkom - Mooie locatie in een oude kerk en erg vriendelijk personeel. Leuke sfeer in het café/ restaurant. In de kamers is het erg stil, je hoort de drukte van buiten niet. En er is airco. Bonus; er woont een kat in de entreehal! Heel leuk. Erg kleine wasbak in de kamer en bedden iets aan de harde kant.

- Aiko (9/5): Good for Exploring Utrecht - I stayed here overnight during transit. Even though I arrived quite late at night, the route to the hotel was bright and easy to follow, and I arrived without any trouble. The building itself seemed to be a renovated church, and the design was very unique and stylish. Even though this was a dormitory-style stay, the space was much cleaner than I expected. The privacy was also well maintained, and I was able to stay there feeling at ease. The owner I briefly spoke with was warm and friendly. Using a translation app, he told me about the cat near the entrance, which I appreciated. The location was very good, and the price also felt reasonable. Next time, I would love to try one of the private rooms.

- Devlin (6/5): Oké - Mooi gebouw en mooi aangekleed Dat de kamers die boven de bar, keuken en spoelkeuken zitten geen raam naar buiten hebben wat open kan voor frisse lucht. Dit stond ook nergers vermeld dus was wel een tegenvaller! Wij hadden kamer 108 en deze was direct boven de spoelkeuken. Absoluut geen aanraden aangezien je continue de vaatwasser of iets anders water hoort pakken door de leidingen. Daarnaast moest kreeg je ‘s morgens bij het ontbijt qua drinken alleen filterkoffie thee water of verse jus d’orange en voor een cappucino of espresso moest je bij betalen.

- lostmary (10/5): Compact, clean, and convenient - Bunk Hotel was a wonderful place to use as a base to explore Utrecht as well as other towns/cities. Only a 5 minute walk to the train station (through the mall) and a short distance to other sites in the city. With it being an "open concept" hotel, of course there was noise from the restaurant downstairs, especially when there was a band playing. But, by 10:00, things quieted down so the noise wasn't a problem at all. The room itself is very compact but extremely clean; more compact than I was expecting. I was traveling solo so it was plenty of room for me. If one other person had been with me, it would have been a tight squeeze. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had good pressure and was hot. The shower set-up is a bit awkward; I wasn't sure hot to put the floor towel down so I could step on it when I got out, but I quickly realized that the shower door (which doubles as a bathroom door) is not interrupted by the floor towel. The hooks for the the hairdryer as well as the towel rack were very high; if I were a short person, I would have needed a stool to reach them. The sink was very small; I had trouble washing my face at night without dumping water on the floor. The cubbies next to the sink is a great idea, but a couple of hooks at the sink would have been handy. The motion sensor light under the bed is very convenient; there's no need to turn on a light in the middle of the night. However, it did seem to randomly go off every now and then. The self-check in/out is very easy, but be advised that if you arrive prior to 3:00 pm, you will not be able to use the self-check in. The staff members who helped me were so very kind. I arrived several hours early so I was directed to some lockers to store my bags. The lockers are in a secure spot, and you set the code yourself. I set my watch so I would know when to make sure I was back; however, I was a few minutes late since the young man at the desk let me know there was a room ready and I could check in. No problem, the locker just let me know there was an additional charge. When I mentioned that one of the draws for me choosing that hotel was that it used to be a church, he pointed out the organ, as well as the boards on the wall which were pews from the church. I felt very safe staying in one of the rooms. If I were to stay here again, I would probably get the top-tier room, especially if someone was with me.
- Ali (10/5): Great first pod experience! Super clean and convenient. - everything was excelent This was my very first time staying in a pod, and honestly, it wasn’t bad at all! The hotel has a fantastic location right in front of the canal and next to the central station, all inside a beautiful converted church. As for the small pods—yes, they are definitely very small, but it can easily be handled if you just need a cozy place to sleep. The entire hotel was incredibly clean. I was also really impressed by the bathroom area; it is spotless and contains everything you need, with plenty of different private shower rooms, many toilets, etc. You don't have to worry about waiting around. The staff were friendly and the downstairs vibe is great. Definitely recommend!

Fijne twists zoals de T-shirts van de onderhoudsmedewerkers ('another one fights the dust'), gezellige kat die in de lobby ligt, bruisend hotel dat leeft met mensen die er zitten te werken/studeren. Heel aangename plek, ik zou zo terugkomen. Het enige wat ik minder vond aan het hotel was het ontbijt. De keuze was vrij beperkt. Ik nam granola met yoghurt maar vond die niet zo bijzonder.

Helaas lag onze kamer niet heel gunstig, aan het restaurant en vlak naast de lift. Hierdoor wel wat geluidsoverlast van de gasten in het restaurant, en heel veel stampvoetend geluid boven ons.

Je boekt ontbijt erbij en dan bepaalt het hotel hoeveel ze vinden dat je dan mag eten door 1 gerecht te mogen bestellen. Yoghurt kan of extra koffie maar dan 15,00 bijbetalen
- Sara (5/5): Non ritornerei - Il locale è una chiesa, molto suggestivo il bar. Prodotti del bagno buoni. Le scalette per raggiungere il letto superiore sono molto strette e difficili da operare. In più essendo ad altezza della tenda del letto di sotto, era impossibile non disturbare gli altri inquilini. Dentro la capsula c'è spazio solo per il letto e la disposizione di luci e attaccapanni sembra essere fatta al contrario. La pulizia del bagno non era ottima.

Camere particolari Camera molto piccola, il bagno integrato in un abitacolo di vetro è veramente piccolo, con lavandino così piccolo che se ti lavi il viso esce l’acqua di fuori. Il tutto può andare anche bene così ma non con la tariffa molto alta richiesta. Il tappeto in moquette sporco e macchiato.

Parking close to the hotel is pricey, but very convenient. We parked 24 hours in a covered garage for about $70 USD. The room was definitely the smallest we encountered in our travels. However, there was plenty of under the bed storage for luggage. No real complaints!
