Guest Reviews
- mrewain (8/5): Good room and location - Hotel with some age (looks like renovated), but OK for that price, clean room with decent space. Bathroom has powerful shower with real hot water (not from small electrical heater).
Conveniently located in city center near night food market, and other restaurants quite nearby. (Also morning market near river still within walking distance.)
It has quite some parking space outside.
- Vilasinee (10/5): - Will be back again next year. Thank you.

- Bangoe (10/5): Great rooms in Ubon's old town area. - We chose this hotel firstly because of its location. And we were not disappointed. Great location if you want to see the old parts of town with its unique charm. And close to many of the great temples.
And the room was large and bright with everything working fine. Breakfast was very basic but got some eggs and toast and coffee. Or Khao Tom if that's what you prefer.
Will definitely return if visiting Ubon again.
- siroratn2015 (10/5): Special thanks to reception team and F&B team with the BEST SERVICE~🤍 - My trip was so wonderful at here Eco Inn with very warm of service mind from F&B with really good breakfast Im here because wanted to eat “ก๋วยจั๊บอุบล” that make me so happy.
Also we borrow 2 bicycle for sightseeing in the town about 11 kms far from hotel but suddenly we got unlikely situation because the tire bike was torn , without warmly helping from reception team we can’t go back to hotel safely, promtly help us by sending car’s manager to pick up us to hotel , then everyone come to us and ask with care.
THANKS TO EVERYONE FROM ECO INN HOTEL 💖
- Wolfee (6/5): I would not stay again - I stayed 2 days in this hotel, i would think that i would not return.
Parking is no problem and I was happy that they allow my rented motorcycle to be parked near the entrance where there is shelter.
Once i got the in room- Room was big - good,
Room had a sofa-good, I slapped on the sofa and there was a cloud of dust-no good. Bed was comfortable - Good, pillow case has stains - no good. Towels provided - good, towel was yellowish - no good. Room was also no that clean, clumps of dirt here and there. Seems like most things are done half heartedly at this hotel.
There were water ants, lots of them which somehow gotten into the bathroom in the evening, i inform the front desk but the only option i was given was a change of room, which was rather troublesome as I was already settle down and checking out the next day. In the end, i have to wash them away with the bidet. Would have been nice if they had border even if just to take a look and see how bad it was.
Location was good.
??? J'ai donc payé 2 fois ma nuitée.

- Longbo (6/5): - The hotel is near market. It’s good. But My room has the bad smell from bathroom, I don’t like it.
- Verified traveler (8/5):
- Verified traveler (6/5): Good but on down hill slide - The staff are great and the rooms are comfortable and clean. The problem with many hotels in Thailand of this age is the condition of the hotel in general. Few Thai hotels have a maintenance program and a staff reporting system to keep the hotel in top condition. Most times staff will see something but think its not their job to report it. Because of that the hotel will soon loose status. This hotel is only held together at this point by good staff doing their job and only their job. Its up to management where this goes from here. Loose staff and not do anything will mean a drastic loss of customers.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and good breakfast
- FMoz (6/5): Adequate, not worthy of mention - It is renovated and refurbished but nothing can hide the fact that it is a post-War era building that is rundown and dilapidated and in need of being pulled down. Room is adequate though very basic. Lighting can be improved - it's a greyish kind of light making for a depressing mood. Location is central and convenient. Staff are helpful and the Vietnamese lady receptionist is especially friendly.
- Verified traveler (10/5): -
- MICHAEL (8/5): Eco Again - As usual the manager was very friendly and accommodating-a shame she’s leaving for promotion to head office
- Verified traveler (6/5): -
- petero258 (10/5): Very nice place - This hotel is quete new. Everything works. New good aircon. Lots of warm water in bathroom. Very big room. Service in top. Room about 700 bht. Good breakfast 100 bht and laundry cheap. Lots of parking. In located in the citycenter.
- Dunkers79 (10/5): Eco Inn - This hotel is great. Great location to the many Beautiful temples and the river. The night food Market is very close, offering many cheap food options and choices. Maybe best to try and hire a car as some places which are amazing are quite far or just hire a taxi and negotiate a day price. We went to Pattaya Noi all day then to Wat Sirindhorn Wararam Phu Phrao temple for sunset which was amazing. 3000 baht taxi all day.
The one thing that stood out for me was the Eco Inn staff. Always welcoming, helpful and great to see a nice smile every time you see them. Thank you for making my stay in Ubon a memorable one 🙏 Breakfast was also great, with a few options to get your day started.
- crisysix (10/5): Great experience! - Wonderful staff, extremely friendly and helpful. The lady at reception helped me book my transport for the next city I was visiting and gave recommended me great places to visit in Ubon. The best are very comfortable and the room is clean. Would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ubon! They also have bikes for guests to use around the city.
- kiamengt2018 (10/5): Great - It was a pleasant and enjoyable stay here during the candle festival. Rooms were nice and new and they have a tv and great view, well maintained daily too! The receptionist also spoke great English and made us feel very welcomed during our stay. Seem to be popular for Thai and tourists here. You can take the free bicycles for a ride or go for a jog at the park nearby too. Abit expensive considering I had stayed nearby for less but you do pay for quality.
- Paul (10/5): - Great street market close by
- 517erlendn (8/5): Excellent service and value - The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was ok. Room was ok. Location was close to several temples, night market and food market. The laundry service was excellent and very cheap. Clothes were cleaned and ironed the same day.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Bottled water - There was four bottled waters in the room. Some hotels charge after drinking two. The water was free but the front desk lady wanted the bottles to stay on the premises. No safe in the room. The ladies at the front desk do not speak much English but that was no problem, my companion speaks Thai. The hotel is near the airport, which is what I wanted. Television stations galore in Thai, no English. My Air Asia flight from Bangkok was delayed.
- Chartchai (10/5): Great place - Booked for one night end up stayed the total of 5 nights. That's how good this hotel.
- Tib18 (8/5): Booking.com got it wrong, but the hotel put things right for me. - I booked at short notice, accepting a twin room. Some days later, I spotted double room availability, so changed the booking. On arrival, a twin room was assigned by the hotel, as per the old reservation. On showing my double room confirmation, the manager made the change for me, somewhat reluctantly, but he changed it, much to my relief.
The room was spotlessly clean, with 2 bottles of drinking water in the fridge. Shampoo and shower gel on wall dispensers - a great shower! A very comfortable bed, pristine white bedlinen. Wifi is free, but drops in and out. TV has mainly Thai channels with a couple of English-speaking news channels.
My room was at the front of the hotel (213). The area comes to life quite early - 6ish, which wasn't an issue for me. Although I can't say what other rooms are like, if you prefer to sleep in, ask for a room which is not front-facing.
I'd happily stay here again.
- joachimw600 (10/5): Great place in the middle of town - The hotel was an excellent choice. In the middle of town near the night market and other hot spots. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast also included and of good quality !! Sure to come back to Ubong and definitely stay in this wonderful hotel!!
- sabawil (8/5): Visit ubon ratchathani - The city is nice and has on the river outside the citymany boat restaurants worth a visit. It is on de MOON KONG. Also the central city temple wat payai is worth a visit. For the rest it has a good shopping area located around the BigTesco. With almost all items available at low pricing compared to Bangkok. Influence of nearby Laos
- jazsacher (4/5): No Hot Water! - Was let down by the lack of quality and service in this hotel. There was absolutely no hot water, the wifi was horrible, and I didn't like the air con quality. On the positive, I did like the morning breakfast buffet and I actually did have a pretty good nights sleep the one night I stayed there. The overall price was attractive, however there is simply no excuse for not having any hot water. That is pretty rare in my experiences for a chain hotel like this. The fixtures and room itself was pretty modern; this was another positive point.
- pdmancs (8/5): Let down by bathroom - Brief overnight stay at Eco Inn. Decent room with TV and wifi. However the bathroom/toilet had not been properly cleaned from previous occupants. Gross. It can't be that hard to flush the loo and give it a quick wipe but it makes a big difference to first impressions.
Good central location (although not much to do in UR) - 10 mins to bus station, 5 mins to airport.
Not sure what people meant by breakfast being poor - there's hot drinks, toast and jam etc and a choice of western or Asian cooked breakfast.
- Coges60 (8/5): Clean and tidy - Good location
