Steven (9/5): S - The location was absolutely perfect , near the Victoria n tram that takes you down on to the sea front ,or a 2 minute walk to all the shops The cooked breakfast wasn’t to our taste , the bacon was overcooked, the scrambled eggs were watery, the mushrooms had little taste , having said all that the service and staff was excellent , plus there was lots of other choices. Julie (2/5): - Location - Very good - However need to have automatic door opening at the hotel, for those with wheelchairs it was difficult handling bags wheelchair and to open both doors on entrance. Proved very difficult. stayed here before and it was lovely. To me the cleanliness has down graded. I was hoping with the booking I made that the room would be as before - Roomy enough to bring in a wheelchair as before were there was a table & 2 chairs - not this time it was very small. Not really suitable for disabled person. Mum cut her leg because of not enough space around the floor area to store the wheelchair. First aid wasn't very good either and no mention the following day to check if all was ok. All they had in the first aid kit was 1 bandage and plasters in their first aid this is not acceptable, no sterile wipes nothing like that. I had to go into town to buy bandages. The single room was not clean. The toilet was dirty the bath I could not even touch. I am not one to complain so just used my mums room for washing. The floors was creaky and just generally not fit for purpose in my opinion. Hoe disturbing for the next door this must of been very annoying to them. Breakfast was ok. Rooms - Duty of Care - first aid - I would of thought this was a necessity throughout the hotel - it was very spars Some of the staff very pleasant - some need earring aids - a couple of times got served the wrong drinks As per 2 years ago, cobwebs on the curtains and the skirting boards dusty - kettles needed de-scaling too. The dressing table was broken too, the back of it was hanging off. To me this room should be a store cupboard. If i were to manage the hotel or any hotel I would be paying attention to detail in a very big way - not my standard at all. I am no snob but cleanliness is a must in my opinion

Breakfast included parking also comfy beds only ate breakfast once but was good choice and lovely, teas coffee milk checked every morning in the room also booked again for a main hol The fact that I paid a extra 40 pound to pay at the property becuse if we didn't then wed have lost all our money as was non refundable so paid the extra just so we could cancel for free a few days b4 or if we didn't show it would only take 1 night some thing like that

avril (7/5): Nice hotel with lot nouse from seagulls and replace bed mattresses in room 47 - Good location, staff lovely. Very good breakfast and dinner. They have a good chef. Room 47 was very hot with no air con. Bed very uncomfortable as mattress sloping so no support so no sleep. Couldn't keep windows open due to noise from the seagulls.

Henson (8/5): We enjoyed our stay at The Palm Court Hotel, and Scarborough too. We'll be back. - Check-in was quick and easy, and the receptionist was very nice. The elevator was a bonus as both my travelling companion and myself have bad hips. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was very good indeed. The free parking was a bonus too. Central location. The bathroom was clean and tidy but had a really creaky floor. The view from the window overlooked a yard area, but on reflection, I have seen worse.

The lounge was very cold if you were sitting in there for a late night drink. The shower was dripping al the time room 26 and the same happened in the room we had last year room 19 .
