• Carin (9/5): Erg van genoten, zeer comfortabel, zou zeker terugkeren! - De persoonlijke benadering van de eigenaar en de grootte van het huis. Daarnaast is het huis van alle gemakken voorzien, zoals wasmachine, vaatwasser etc. En een zeer goed uitgeruste keuken. Veel glazen, bordjes, schalen etc. Stond een bos bloemen klaar, erg attent. We hadden niet alle dagen mooi weer, dan kon het huis een beetje fris zijn. Maar met de kachel aan en dekentjes was dit prima te doen.
• Calvin (10/5): Houtbay Stay for 5, great experience - Marc and Sandra were lovely, and we were very comfortable and well accommodated. The location is beautiful, and a stones throw from Chapmans peak, or 30 mins to V&A, so very ideal for travelling around the wider cape area.
• Jessica (10/5): Great location and home away from home vibe - Great location, beautiful views and well appointed kitchen Hilltop should be the cue that there’s some stairs up to the house, so nothing not to like except how heavy my suitcase was 😉
• Edith_Susanna (10/5): Super, wir kommen wieder! - Alles! Das Haus ist wunderschön und hat alles, was es für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt braucht. Wir haben es sehr genossen, der Pool ist gepflegt und die Aussenanlage lädt zum Verweilen ein. Der Besitzer Marc und die Housekeepering Sandra sind sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit, vielen Dank dafür. Das Hout Bay Hilltop ist immer wieder einen Aufenthalt wert, wir waren nun schon drei Mal hier und kommen wieder! Es wäre toll, wenn es am Pool zwei oder drei Liegen hätte. Bei dem keinen Holzsitzplatz könnte man die Sträucher etwas schneiden, damit die schöne Aussicht auf die Hout Bay besser genossen werden kann. Beim Sitzplatz bei der Küche wäre ein Sonnenschirm hilfreich, damit man den schönen Platz auch bei heissem Wetter nutzen kann. Ansonsten gibt es absolut nichts zu bemängeln.
• Michael (10/5): Hout Bay Hilltop by Mike and Kathleen - The location of the house is lovely not too far out of Hout Bay, the facilities in the house all work ie Internet, tv , showers, hot water all the kitchen equipment no problems what so ever. We also felt very safe in the house. The swimming pool although not massive is a real bonus even when the wind was blowing it was nice just to put our feet in the very clean water to cool down. Marc was an excellent host, very informative and helpful although he lives on site he is very unobtrusive and his house keeper Sandra was very very thorough as the whole house was spotlessly clean, it was a real shame that we had to leave the Hilltop at the end of our holiday hopefully we will be back to visit one day soon.

• Mike Bryan 77 (9/5): Convenient location, lovely garden, comfortable beds, spacious property. - Lovely big house, comfortable beds and convenient location. Close to main area of Hout Bay and great views of Table Mountain.
• Guido Roosen (9/5): Top - Uitstekend ruim appartement. Schoon en Smaakvol ingericht met alle voorzieningen die je nodig hebt! Prachtige tuin met meerdere zitplekjes en uitzicht op de bergen. Strand van Houtbay ligt wat verder weg. Dat is jammer maar was bekend!

• Gea (10/5): Fijne accomodatie voor een verblijf vlakbij Kaapstad. - Een ruim huis van alle gemakken voorzien. Mark is een attente gastheer en voorziet je (ook zonder er om te vragen) van tips. Het terras met uitzicht is een grote plus. In 20-30 min ben je in Kaapstad en Chapmans Peak is ook vlakbij. Sandra doet de schoonmaak en zorgt voor heerlijk geurend beddengoed en handdoeken. Het was frisjes, het huis is dan kil. Maar gelukkig kon de haard aan.

We - family of five - had an absolutely wonderful 17-night stay at Houtbay Hilltop. Magnificent views, peaceful surroundings and an oasis to relax in. Marc is a great host, readily available for any queries, and Sandra is exceptional at keeping the property organised in a seamless way. We highly recommend Houtbay Hilltop!

• Lukasz (10/5): Probably the best spot in Hout Bay - Great house on the hill with amazing views. Four bedrooms with two baths make the place very comfortable. The house has very nice design and pool. Barbecue area is there. Fully equipped. WiFi works great. Beautiful area close to beach or tourist attractions. The owner is a very friendly person and good talker. Spar store around to buy products. Some restaurants also not too far. Camps bay 10 minutes drive. Perfect place to relax chill and look at the green scenery while sipping wine on the terrace N/A

The kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms are very comfortable. The outside area is just perfect for a family or a group of friends with lovely views of the mountains. Marc was a great host and he always responded quickly.

Marc is very welcoming and helps whenever needed. We felt very safe. A well equipped super market is close by, we had lunch at the beach and Chapman‘s Peak is right in front of your door. We had some bad luck with the weather. So we will come back when it is warmer to enjoy the pool and the terraces with the views!

• Ian (10/5): Hout Bay Hill Top House is a beautiful property offering privacy and wonderful views. - A very comfortable and spacious house, extremely well equipped. The lovely garden areas offer privacy and some gorgeous views. Only a 10 minute walk to a large Spa supermarket and pharmacy. 1km to the beach. The owner Marc lives close by and is easily contactable with any queries. Marc valiantly tried to fix a problem with our hire car on the day of departure. Europcar emergency number was not answered. So Marc drove his car to his local garage and brought back a technician to solve the problem. A wonderful gesture of kindness which will be remembered along side a holiday of complete relaxation in beautiful surroundings.
