• Bibiana (3/5): House falling apart, price doesn’t match - Two members of stuff were very nice. The rest we were very disappointed It’s falling apart. We have pictures. So expensive for what we received. They didn’t even supply clean drinkable water. Very basic and with that price . Things were broken, walls full of mould, when we first got there our room didn’t even have one draw to put our clothes away. No wardrobe, nothing!
• BEN (8/5): A lovely place but expensive compared to others. - Great location in a lovely old house. Everyone was very helpful. It was nice being cooked breakfast in the kitchen. No hot water and one evening no water at all from shower or basin.

• Helen (10/5): A quiet, beautiful traditional Casa with high spec modern additions - Breakfast was fruit, fruit juice & eggs. The staff were quiet and very competent, and I was able to leave my bags with them after I checked out, as my bus was not until 4.30 pm. Nothing!

No hot water, which was not clearly communicated before booking, and a lack of cleanliness (cockroach in the room). Service was minimal, and the way feedback was handled afterward was defensive and unprofessional.

Staff is most helpful and kind. At check in, Their booking system did not reflect one discount we had. Room wardrobe is nice but huge and does not have drawers or shelves.

• karina (6/5): - I want to say first that the staff was amazing, the location incredible, walkable, and the charming of the property was beautiful in the other hand there are some aspects that should be fixed like the internet conexión is awful and very poor, we have no water at the room in two different ocasión, there was hair in the bathroom. When we arrive, there are termites at simple sight this show a low maintenance aspect to the room, and there are a little windows there that not have the proper insolate that could cause the air conditioning make an extra effort to work and for this reason there are condensation in the wall. Like I said there are aspects that should be better but the rest was very good

Breakfast was really good and the staff friendly. They welcomed our dog and location couldn’t be better. Lots of close restaurants. Highly Recommend. Wi-Fi didn’t work in the room Probably because the walls are so thick to keep it quiet and cool! :)

On my last morning I left early before breakfast to catch a coach and they gave me a bag of breakfast food to eat on my journey.
• De (10/5): Review room - Super comfortable rooms in an amazing old building. The garden is beautiful. There was some miscommunication about the food, we can not eat any dairy or eggs and asked beforehand if it was possible to make some arepas without milk or butter for breakfast, when checking in this was mentioned again but at breakfast the chef didn't know about it and put butter in the arepas.
• Benjamin (2/5): - Nous avons passé 2 nuits à Mompos. Forts de votre excellente appréciation de l'hôtel Casa Amarilla, nous y avons passé 2 nuits. La déception a été immense, et nous estimons que cet hôtel ne devrait pas être recommandé. Rapport qualité prix médiocre, emplacement pas formidable, direction/réception au mieux mal aimable. En effet : -l'habitation est globalement précaire, l'isolation inexistante, les serrures des portes inopérantes, l'eau chaude ne fonctionne pas, la literie est mauvaise (grincement, matelas peu confortable,...) - les chambres donnent sur un minuscule patio, où on entend en permanence le personnel et la clientèle parler,....des 6h30 du matin (principalement des groupes!) - l'hôtel est situé devant une esplanade où sont installés des kiosques à musique qui donne à tue-tête jusqu'à 23h (autant qu'il est impossible de dormir avant 23h et après 6h)!!! - nous avons dû changer de chambre devant le vacarme de la première nuit et essuyé un refus de la direction de l'hôtel d'une petite compensation ( 2.5 euros de boissons qu'on a refusé de nous offrir, une mesquinerie étonnante). Au final, après avoir parcouru la ville, nous avons constaté que plusieurs hôtels de grande classe proposaient des offres de prix équivalent, voir inférieur pour des prestations véritablement haut de gamme. En conclusion, nous vous suggérons de dereferencer ce mauvais hôtel

• Rhonda (9/5): A Casa that reflects the grace and history of Mompos - A wonderful situation next to the river. A thoughtful and comfortable accommodation with attentive and helpful staff. The shower is a bit unpredictable but this is perfectly understandable in such an old building.

Location was marred by riverfront construction ongoing in front of hotel. Good sized room with fan and air conditioning and very tall ceiling and adequate closet space. Two large public reception rooms and pleasant inner courtyard. Nice toiletries in bathroom. Wifi signal did not reach my room. I had to go near reception to use wifi. Construction screens blocked view of river in front of hotel. Hopefully this will be a short-lived phenomenon.

• Pablo (10/5): Magic - Is a magical house in Mompox downtown. I love the place, all the human team make you feel comfortable and feel like home. My recommendation is, if you have the possibility, try to pay for the big rooms. I think the experience change in a good way. One of the suites have an amazing balcony to see the sunset and a beautiful entrance with reclining chairs with view to the central patio of the house. Great experience ❤️

• Verified traveler (8/5): - This property is quite comfortable and well located. We had a very comfortable king sized bed. The location was excellent at the end of the old historic promenade where the streets turn unpaved and sandy, right there at their corner. There was no visible sign for the hotel when we arrived at dusk, just the yellow color of the house. We found that the room could definitely use a table or desk and a chair. It was Large enough but there was nowhere to place things. The breakfast was good although measured. You pay for second drinks. Also you have to wait for it since there is only one table for six. But the extreme tranquility of the place makes it an excellent place to visit. One of the beautiful colonial cities still lost in time but well preserved at its origins. This old house with it's tranquil interior garden is a very good home base to stay.
