Good breakfast Rooms a little dated but clean
- John (8/5): Staff above and beyond, food superb. - Nicely placed, good car park Nothing

- Roger (8/5): Welcoming and comfortable hotel at a competitive price. - Large, comfortable and quiet room with en-suite facilities. Floor was very creaky, even for an old building.
Plenty of parking and fairly central location.
Good breakfast included in price, so overall it was good value. Creaky floors in our room were a bit annoying, but they didn't really affect our stay.
- Margrit (9/5): -
- Isobel (8/5): - Service was incredible and breakfast delicious - it s an old hotel so expect a few wonky floors and creaky doors but really well looked after by the team.
- Davies (8/5): -
- Penelope (6/5): Adequate - Disappointed to find that there was only hand wash available in the rooms. Apparently waiting for the owner to fix dispensers to the wall. Also eating.whilst being listed as pet friendly dogs were only allowed in the bedroom and outside. Thank goodness it was not raining as had to have my meal outside as dogs were not to be left in the rooms alone. Also the garden is a paved area with s Toiletries in the bedroom.
- John (9/5): Very nice hotel and great staff - Lovely breakfast Not much

- Glenda (5/5): Disappointing room but friendly staff - Staff Room
- Michael (4/5): I didn’t expect much and it delivered to my expectations - Young lady running everything in the evening was excellent.
Location was good for what I needed Room smelt musty.
Monsoon shower only about a third of the holes worked
Bed felt like it was on a slope
Old pipe work made lots of noise.
Scrambled egg at breakfast was rubbery and had molded itself to the shape of the bowl it had been warmed in the microwave in.
- MARY (8/5): A comfortable hotel in an excellent location. - A comfortable hotel in an ideal location in the town with its own parking. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The breakfast was excellent.
- michael (8/5): -
- Marion (7/5): - Well located hotel, 24h check-in, parking, large room and very nice staff !
- Carl (10/5): Overall excellent. - Staff are excellent and very friendly.
Rooms clean and comfortable!
Breakfast is also very good. Shower in certain rooms slightly below par pressure wise but some bathroom showers were lovely and high pressured.
- Daniel (10/5): -
- Jo (8/5): - The staff were friendly and the room was warm, quiet, clean and refreshed the following day with a light clean and new towels. The bed and pillows were a bit firm- probably needs updating. Because it was a fixed shower head, I was unable to shower without getting wet hair- hair caps could be provided for guests and very cheaply so. Biscuits on the tea/ coffee tray would have been a nice touch and is standard in every hotel I have been in.
- Romney (7/5): -
- Barry (8/5): Very nice stay & the staff were super helpful at all times. - Centre of town with car parking. Old building built 1625 with bags of character. Nil
- Jonothan (9/5): -
- Susan (6/5): Ok for needs - All ok
Adequate bed and facilities
The staff were excellent especially the bar person she went to a lot of trouble to accommodate my son arriving after the kitchen had closed and kept a meal warm Mattress spongy sinking in middle
Building looks tired in corridors and staircase but it is old
- Michael (8/5): -
- Susan (5/5): - Very good
- Marshall (10/5): Welcoming nice staff - Very nice well organised Nothing excellent
- Julie (10/5): It was a really enjoyable stress free night, comfy bed, great shower, fab breakfast with great staff - Generous portion at breakfast, of smoked salmon and scrambled egg with pot of tea including hot water and little jug of milk. I could also have had fruit, cereals and yogurt, along with fruit juice if preferred. There was also the full English but I didn’t opt for it. The room furnishings were a little shabby and dated, but still comfortable. Good bathroom.
- Alina (10/5): We had an amazing 2 nights stay, breakfast was lovely, pet friendly place, our room was cosy. - The room was clean and staff friendly, pet friendly place.
- eric (10/5): Perfection - Everything.
- Kim (8/5): Ideally situated with on site parking. - Location was excellent for us, right in the town and a 5 minute walk to our daughters. Food was really good and generous portions at breakfast. Room a little tired, but very comfortable.
- Georgios (7/5): -
- Teresa (8/5): Had a lovely stay and would happily stay again - Friendly staff made us feel welcome. Fantastic breakfast - would highly recommend Some of the decor looks tired - old doors etc but this didn’t distract from a very pleasant stay
- Dave laundon (7/5): - Breakfast was excellent The other guests extremely drunk outside my bedroom window shouting, screaming and swearing at midnight till 1.30am
Not the hotels fault however they were there guests and the hotel had a responsible to others
- SUSAN (10/5): We would definately stay again - Evening meal and breakfast excellent. Lovely warm welcome on arrival.
- Jane (7/5): Good location for short stay. - Good evening meal in very nice bar area. Room in need of updating. Not very warm and no means of heating in bathroom.

- Daniel (8/5): -
- Zaneta (8/5): - Clean hotel, friendly staff, great location with parking facilities Slightly outdated but clean
- Anita (9/5): We would definitely stay here again, overall a lovely experience. - Good restaurant with lovely staff. Enjoyable evening meal and breakfast. All staff throughout the hotel went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Good car park facility. Lovely old building with character - though it smelled a bit old and musty in some of the corridors! There was a noisy extractor fan somewhere that came on at various times through the night.
- Paul (10/5): - The location was very good and handy for shops. It was a nice room and the brecwest was every good and I had good stay.
- Markillie (8/5): - The hotel was in a good location for my purpose of my trip. Breakfast was one of best I have had down this way. Staff where helpful , friendly and polite. The bath room was good, I found the bed to be a bit lumpy and saggy on one size. But staying that I would still stay heare again
- Christopher (9/5): Really good place to stay - Really nice hotel
Friendly and helpful staff We thought it was just fine
- Maureen (8/5): - Friendly staff, good food Noisy extractor fan on the floor above us.
Toilet seat didn't stay up making life a bit difficult for men
- Paula (9/5): -
- Tony (7/5): Served a purpose - Location Separate toilet with no sink
- Emil (10/5): - An excellent 3* hotel, recommended.
- Graham (8/5): Very good -
- Stuart (10/5): - Fried bread not on the breakfast menu but available on request
- susannah (7/5): -
- Sue (8/5): - The staff went out of their way to prepare a continental breakfast for me as I was leaving very early before the first breakfasts were being served.
My evening meal in the restaurant was excellent. The mattress on the bed was lumpy in the middle.
- Gary (10/5): - The rooms are nice Im this Hotel.
My only suggestion would be to install smart televisions as Free view is too basic nowadays.
The restaurant is good.
- Alec (7/5): - Value for money The decor was a bit dated
- Daryl (10/5): Great Stay! Clean, comfortable room and friendly staff. - Great Stay!
Clean, comfortable room and friendly staff. Convenient location, everything was smooth and enjoyable—would definitely stay again! Everything was great.
- Ivo Jorge (8/5): Overall a nice stay - Room was on the top floor. Quiet and comfortable. An ensuite twin. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great with some cereals and pastries available and a waiter coming to ask you for your choice of cooked breakfast. Reception was okay but there was lack of information about dinning after 10pm on the area. Car park was small but we were lucky in getting the last place available.
- Phil (8/5): Would 100% recommend to anyone - The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful; nothing was too much for them. The bed in my room was really comfortable and great pillows too, which made a change from most other 'reasonably priced hotels'.
The bar was well furnished and provided a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I've had in a long time! I had salmon and scrambled eggs and they didn't skimp on the salmon. Some of the decor in the rooms and corridors looks a little tired, and some of the lighting could be a little brighter, including only having a single wall light in my room, but I'm just nitpicking. It was good value.
- Jared (7/5): Overall ok - Staff were really friendly and helpful. Room was a good size and the breakfast was delicious 😋. The lights in the room were too dim. The shower took a while to get to an acceptable temperature, and made noises for a couple of minutes whilst the water temperature increased.
- Aine (9/5): -
- Kevin (7/5): Only stayed one night but would stay there again - Friendly staff good size rooms Looking a little tired
- Robert (7/5): -
- robert (9/5): Nice weekend stopover - Easy to find . Good parking
- Rhys (10/5): - Clean, comfortable & spacious rooms with a generous sized bathroom. Remember though that this an historic building so no two rooms are the same.
Excellent value for money.
- Rhys (10/5): - I have stayed here many times. I can't emphasise how much i enjoy this hotel. It has a class all of it's own and you won't find a more convenient hotel anywhere in Haverfordwest.
Lovely staff. A very nice breakfast. It's quiet, comfortable and warm ( which is more than you can say for a Premier Inn on a cold night).
Excellent, excellent value for money. Dog friendly too.
- Clare (10/5): - The rooms are a little dated but clean. Pleasant stay with friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious- good variety to choose from the menu. Evening meal was super. Home cooked food and tasty. Would recommend to anyone passing through and would come back again.
- Babar Ali (10/5): - I have reviewed it previously as well
And i will say again, its one of the best hotels, if not best in Uk , and in budget sense its exceptional. No other can compete with it
- Claire (8/5): Well refurbished, comfortable and memorable - The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent. The staff at the hotel were really friendly and helpful, including about letting us in when we got back late. The hotel has got a lot of character (which I realise might include being a bit inaccessible for some, with all the little staircases, but we liked it).
- Robert (9/5): -
- Brian (8/5): -
- Irram (10/5): Happy to stay here again - Very helpful staff, lovely food, very nice room and ensuite.
- Rhys (10/5): - Clean & spacious room with good sized bathroom (bat & shower in most cases). Dog friendly. The bar serves one of the best pints of Felinfoel Double Dragon in town. Service is excellent with helpfully & very friendly staff. A good quality breakfast.
I have stayed here on many occasions. In fact i shall be staying here again tonight being the 3rd time in 5 weeks.
- Lee (10/5): - Great staff, food and comfy bed. Perfect.
- jeff (8/5): - We stayed at the mariners in August , a good convenient hotel in the middle of haverford west. The hotel was quiet and the bed was comfy. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean. The breakfast was very good and we had a nice stay.
- Lee (10/5): - Great stay
- Toby (4/5): Cold shower and smelly room - We were told upon arrival that there was no hot water available, it was too late for us to find an alternative hotel, they could have contacted us earlier in the day.
In addition the hotel and rooms are very tired a the room I used had a nasty smell.
- Babar Ali (10/5): - I have seen most of budget hotels in Uk, no one can compete with Mariners, Daily house keeping, Lovely breakfast, Great staff and budget price.
I hope they will look into two things
1)Avilability of chaye Latte at bar
2) Open branches in other cities as well to give people a luxurious stay in budget.
- isabelle (8/5): Séjour agréable - Personnel serviable et chambre spacieuse et propre
- Jean (10/5): -
- nisha (10/5): - I had an excellent stay. The place is so peaceful . The dining facility is great with great bar and dinner available at request. The quality of food is really good . The whole place is clean and excellent hospitality . Loved it .
- Joshua (8/5): -
- Julie (8/5): - The room location, it was quite noisy early in the morning,
- Alison (10/5): - Very helpful and pleasant staff, without exception. Clean rooms. Plenty of hot water, shower could have been a bit more powerful, but more than adequate. Only slight downside, the corridors smelt a little musty. But this didn’t detract from the stay. Would definitely recommend.
