Guest Reviews
- Erain (7/5): Welcoming staff, great location. - Perfectly located and a good secure parking garage just two blocks away. Nice but lacking in better decoration in the suite. No heating. Not as good as it looks in the pictures.
- carlos (8/5): Hotel is nice and very good service by attending staff - Location The shower flooded with ease
- Ishay (10/5): - Beautiful colonial style hacienda
I stay in a spacious room just above the family botanical garden, which is in a separate building from the main hotel.
Large windows with a beautiful mountains view It is cold in the room at night and morning, there is no heat and the windows frame is not sealed.
- Melissa (10/5): Beautiful property and wonderful owners! - Beautiful property and incredibly friendly and wonderful owners. Don’t miss seeing their botanical garden!
- Dina (9/5): - Lovely place with such friendly owners in the center but you feel like you are in a little oasis. The room was very comfortable.
- Katharina (9/5): Wunderschönes Hostel in bester Lage - Tolle Unterkunft in super zentraler Lage in Pisac.
- anat (10/5): - Beautiful place, Beautiful people, everything was more than great
- Annie (10/5): A special family run place with history and a botanic garden! - Fantastic place!! This is a special place with lovely family history. We visited the adjoining botanical garden which was one of the best things to do in Pisac! A real joy to learn from the garden manager (the brother of the hotel owner) about the plants and the potato museum at the back of the garden! And their father who founded the garden. The room was very comfortable - great bed! - and we appreciated drinking water and hot water on tap. Stay here - it's special!! Breakfast was simple, but okay. We had sent a message on booking at got no reply - it didn't matter in the end but online communication could be better!
Esperaba otra cosa..
- Jack (9/5): - Special place! Incredible old building restored beautifully. Hosted by Rosemaria who was charming, her bother runs a mini botanical garden next door you should definitely check out! Highly recommended
- Annie (9/5): Very comfortable stay in a beautiful old house - BEAUTIFUL old house with very comfortable rooms in a fantastic location. The history of the house and family is wonderful ... you can visit their wonderfully kept botanical garden over the street which is a haven of flowers trees and cantus. This was a very special stay and it was a pleasure to meet the family and get a tour of the garden too. The hotel has hot water and teas, and drinking water on tap, good showers and very comfortable bed. Communication could have been better .. I had an issue with the booking originally and got no reply to my messages , but all was fine when I arrived

- Michal (10/5): We love it - Perfect location
- Cailin (10/5): Perfect! - Wonderful little hotel! Staff were extremely kind, the place was gorgeous, the bed comfy, the bathroom nice, and it was quiet. 10/10 recommend.
- Lyudmyla (8/5): Very good location, clean rooms, friendly owner. I recommend this hotel. -
- Lisa Marie (10/5): Perfect stay in Pisac - Beautiful hacienda, great location. Shower was nice and hot, great pressure. Bed & room very comfy! The owners are sweet and present. They also own the botanical gardens across from the stay, wonderful escape from the city streets. Very great stay! Thank you! Nothing, everything was wonderful.
- Melanie (10/5): - This was my second time at Florencio and again, it was a wonderful stay. The family takes great care of its customers and the rooms are beautiful. The beds are very comfortable. The decorations are so vibrant and it never fails that I get to see a humming bird in the open air garden area. I highly recommend staying at Florencio while visiting Pisac. There could be a few more gluten free options for breakfast, but overall the food and tea was excellent.
- Mare (10/5): If I return to the area, I would stay at this hotel again - This adorable property is located in the center of Pisac and was charming. Run by a brother and sister they couldn’t be nicer people. Breakfast is included with made to order eggs if you want them. We had the king room which has an active wood burning fireplace. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. They are so accommodating and if you go ask them to let you see the gardens across the street. I believe they are owned by their family and is very nice. The town is not very big but this hotel is right in the center of it all.
- Mariyan (8/5): Good place at a good location, a bit pricy. - Large room, high ceilings, stylish furniture. Very friendly hosts. The botanical garden, next to the hotel and run by the owners was beautiful and they spent a lot of time showing us around. There was no one speaking English, so we had to use Google translate. The additional room charge of 15 USD for paying with CC was a surprise.
- Itai (10/5): Phenomenal spot in the middle of pisac - Phenomenal location. Lovely rooms. Super friendly and helpful hosts. There’s an amazing botanical garden adjacent to the hotel which Jose tends and will let you tour if he is available. It is a total hidden gem.
- Mary Stokes-Rees (8/5): We loved our stay in the historic Florencio Casa Hacienda! - The location is excellent, right in the heart of Pisac but on a quiet street. We could quickly and easily walk everywhere in town, to cafes, restaurants, shops, etc. We really enjoyed our breakfast with fresh buns typical of tge region and freshly squeezed orange juice.
We loved th fact that the hotel has a deep history in Pisac where it was one of the original large haciendas in Pisac, perhaps the only one. The hotel is owned by the original family who transformed their family estate into a hotel fairly recently. The owners are proud of their father’s significant botanical garden across the lane, and of the original enormous traditional adobe oven and flour mill, all part of the history of the property. Staying in this large historic property allows guests to experience a bit of Pisac history. We found it hard to believe this large “hacienda “ was once just a family home!
- Radovana (9/5): Comfortable colonial style hotel in the center of Pisac. - Locatin in the center of the town. They assisted us with parking and helped with luggage. I liked the rustical dinig room and beautiful internal courtyard. Free tea and drinking water available 24/7. Recless guests, drinking free tea in the courtyard late in the evening. All the rooms are oriented to internal cortyard and guest shoud consider other guests. But this is not a hotel fault.
- Andrew (8/5): Great - Great hotel in the centre of town. Very nice and attentive service
- Kelly (10/5): Beautiful space, lovely hosts - Breakfast was sweet, it was helpful to be able to have food there. The location was perfect, easily walkable around the city and into the main square Honestly everything was great, I felt well cared for
- William (9/5): Great location. Terrific and helpful staff. Super clean. - Great location. Helpful staff. Only thing was fact that no one there spoke any English. That’s partly on me for not having better Spanish. But it would have been nice. Otherwise a terrific place

- Carlos (10/5): - I enjoyed verything, the hosts, breakfast and the room simply excellent. The garden part of the property absolutely fascinating. Location very handy in the heart of the town, in addition the hotel it self has lot of history. Thanks for your great hospitality. Without a doubt I'll come back. I can't find something that I didn't like there.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - This hotel is a treasure - behind unassuming walls is a unique, authentic, beautifully appointed hotel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - As the name indicates, this is a hacienda that has been transformed into a hotel by the brother and sister who own and operate it. The room we had was quite large, as it had previously been the main living area, and included a fireplace. (They prepared a fire for us in the evening, which was very welcome as it gets chilly at night.) We stayed for only one night, but our hosts treated us like royalty. Sra. Rosmarina gave us a tour of the family botanical garden, which is just across the street and quite impressive. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make us welcome and comfortable. A modest but quite good breakfast was included. The hotel is well located for getting around the small town, and is close to restaurants, cafes, and the town square where the crafts stalls are situated. We were very happy to have chosen the Hotel Florencio for our brief stay in Pisac.
- BGMD (10/5): - I would give this hotel six stars if I could.
My wife and I are semi retired professional people who enjoy seeing different parts of the world.
This was a wonderful facility that we can recommend to anyone. The owners were wonderful and room were absolutely first rate.
The area is very close to the market and, for the ambitious, also close to the start where people may wish to hike up to the ruins.
I can’t say enough positive things about this hotel and encourage anyone to use this hotel.
Included is a wonderful tour of his botanical gardens and, a museum including at least 50 different types of potatoes: who knew there were so many types.
- Ted (8/5): Great intro to the Sacred Valley - Great location. Booked a room overlooking the garden. Room was clean, plenty of hot water, great view overlooking the garden. The one negative was a restaurant across the garden was noisy until 2:00 am. The hotel is building some new rooms that should shield the noise.
Would I stayed here again, yes. Would not opt for a garden room. Owner was very gracious, gave a wonderful tour of the garden which gave us important insight as we traveled down the Sacred Valley.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - You check into and have breakfast in a piece of Pisac history, an old hacienda building with a history that goes back to the early 19th century. It is right across the street from a private botanical garden cared for by several generations of the same family that owns the hotel. The botanical garden is a treasure, with over 700 species of cacti. The new hotel rooms look out over the botanical gardens and a fabulous view of one of the mountains overlooking Pisac. Highly recommended.
- bva2717 (10/5): - The property was beautiful! It is the oldest home in Pisac. Rosemary and her brother Jose were both wonderful, warm caring people. Our room overlooked the botanical gardens created by their father. Rosemary gave us a personal tour. My understanding when I booked the room was that breakfast was not included however Rosemary and Jose invited us to breakfast. When we didn't show up the second day, Rosemary knocked on our door! The location was just over a block from the main plaza and three blocks from the archeological park. Loved Pisac and the hotel!
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The fireplace was excellent. The internet was choppy but the main complaint was no hot water. Would not stay here again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great Pisac hotel - Room was clean and comfy and overlooked a beautiful garden. Plenty of hot water for showering. Coca tea if you want it. Food at the restaurant was really tasty. Close to the Pisac market. Owner was really helpful with touristy stuff and accommodating with our luggage. Our favorite hotel so far. We would stay here again!
- George (10/5): Pisac - Amazing!!!!
Wonderful location!! Hosts are so welcoming & helpful!
- Tom (10/5): - Having booked this hotel without knowing anything about the property or the town, we were very pleasantly surprised to see just how beautiful the hotel was and how perfect the location was. Rosemary and her husband were wonderfully genuine and helpful hosts. Rosemary gave us a personal tour of her father's beautiful botanical gardens across the street from the hotel. Breakfast is served in a cafe adjacent and overlooking the botanical gardens, and there is a wonderful cafe/restaurant, named Beija Flor, pumping out zen music on the other adjacent side to the gardens. The room at the hotel was large, very comfortable, and decorated in local elegance. Like most hotels, there was no heat, but the fireplace and ample supply of wood more than made up the difference. If we return to Pisac, our favorite town in the Sacred Valley, we would definitely stay at the Hotel Florencio Casa Hacienda again.
