• Nina (10/5): A beautifully designed oasis. Highly recommend. - These rooms are wonderfully comfortable oases, beautifully designed. The staff are very professional while being warm and welcoming. Breakfast was lovely, cooked to order eggs etc. or Indonesian style options. Delicious. You may not be right next to the beach, but wandering through the streets is interesting and getting to the beach only takes about 15 minutes. The pool and garden are also beautifully maintained and there's a big cabana to sit and read under or just lounge about.

• Louris (10/5): Beautiful, calm and stylish oasis - Atelier Guesthouse was such a calm, tranquil and stylish oasis. The rooms are beautiful and well designed, beds very comfortable, the little garden is so peaceful and shower water pressure is great. The pool and breakfast were also lovely. Everything was very clean and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night in transit to somewhere else but would've loved to stay longer. Not sure if I just didn't know how to use the A/C remote but I did find the air conditioner quite loud at nighttime. A minor issue though, and very grateful for the A/C.

• Stephanie Ortega King (9/5): Overall - The design… truly felt like being on holidays. Breakfast, flavour was good but variety is poor. hotel offers only one hot dish per day. The have a rotational menu for the week but if you do not eat eggs for example they do not give you an alternative. The plate of 2 pieces of fruit accompanied by one croissant and one pain ou chocolate (if you do not eat the main dish) Is simply not enough.
• Susan (10/5): Outstanding Guesthouse - a quiet oasis providing exceptional service - This property was unique and very personalized. This was our 6th time in Bali & the first staying in a property as special as Atelier. With only 6 rooms most of the time we felt like we were the only ones there. It's private and quiet. Breakfast was cooked by chef Maddy and it was delicious. Our room was made up every morning and there was a turn down service in the evening. Comfortable large king-sized bed with beautiful linen. We were made feel special from start to finish. We stayed 7 nights and it wasn't enough! It was a 15 minute walk from the Guesthouse to the main shopping area of Senur. I would recommend walking out and getting a taxi back which is very easy and very cheap ($2.00 aud) The distance didn't put us off and we would definitely stay again regardless.

The pool did not seem very clean, reading other reviews its probably because the filter is only on when guests are using the pool. This should always be on!

Nothing else compares and I have tried many. Delightful breakfast with a changing menu. I would have liked an option for food in the evening.

• Nicolas (6/5): Très décevant, il y a mieux ailleurs - La chambre était spacieuse et confortable. La literie de bonne qualité. Le cadre de l’hôtel était agréable et calme. Le petit-déjeuner était décevant, le moins bon que nous ayons eu à Bali. Il se composait d’un panier de viennoiseries, d’un œuf et de quelques fruits. Nous avons finalement préféré apporter notre propre petit-déjeuner. Le jet de pluie dans la douche ne fonctionnait pas. Le personnel n’était pas très avenant et semblait se cacher dans l’arrière-cuisine, comme si nous les dérangions. Le pire était la piscine. Ils coupent le système de filtration tant que les clients ne l’utilisent pas, ce qui rend l’eau trouble et laisse apparaître un dépôt curieux sur les bords. Elle n’était pas entretenue, et nous ne nous y sommes pas risqués, même si c’était un critère important pour nous lors du choix de l’hôtel. Nous avons même envisagé de changer d’établissement. La plage est à 15-20 minutes à pied, et la route à deux voies est pénible et potentiellement dangereuse à traverser, surtout avec des enfants. Le service de laundry était assez étrange. Il faut payer à l’article, et les tarifs sont très élevés. Décevant, pour le prix il y a clairement de meilleurs hôtels à sanur et bord de plage.

Geen negatief punt, maar weet wel dat als je met kind(eren) reist het kleinschalig is en wij hebben geen andere potentiële vakantievriendjes voor zoon gezien. Ook geen negatief punt, maar viel op. Je kan niet de hoofdingang in zonder te bellen (wordt wel altijd opengedaan.

• Katharina (10/5): Eine kleine Oase in Sanur - Wieder ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt in der kleinen Oase des Atelier TE. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr zuvorkommend und lesen jeden Wunsch von den Augen ab. Dankeschön! Es hat im Zimmer diesmal etwas muffig gerochen. Das war bei unserem letzten Aufenthalt knapp ein Jahr zuvor noch nicht so. Leider sucht sich die Feuchtigkeit immer ihren Weg.

The room is spacious, very clean, and well maintained. There are small shops conveniently located nearby, and the laundry service across the road is reliable and affordable. Transportation via Grab is also easily accessible. Breakfast lacks variety and remains largely unchanged each day. The fruit selection is minimal, and cooked breakfast options are limited exclusively to eggs. In addition, the swimming pool is shared.

Great central location to see all the island. Very comfortable bed and linens. Excellent staff, with butler service! Will definitely stay again. No cheese available in omelette. However, option for take away breakfast as our flight left early was great!

• Marilyn (9/5): Dommage d'être placé près d'une grande route, car logement et personnel super ! - Le personnel est très accueillant, aux petits soins et à l'écoute. Le petit déjeuner est sympa (possibilité d'avoir une omelette faite minute, les viennoiseries sont fraiches). La piscine est grande et très appréciable. Le logement est confortable et calme. L'emplacement. Pour aller à la plage ou au centre ville (pourtant pas loin), il vaut mieux prendre un taxi que d'y aller à pied : en effet il faut traverser une route à 4 voies et c'est dangereux malgré les feux.

• Johannes52 (8/5): Nice quiet boutique hotel - We were 3 nights in this hotel. It is a small boutique hotel with very nice rooms. There was a outdoor rain shower and a large indoor bathroom. They had a nice swimming pool. Free coffee and tea including cafe latte and cappuccino of high quality. The reason we gave only 4 stars (I would like to be able to gove 4 1/2 stars) was the simple breakfast and the somewhat isolated location. The staff was excellent.

• Yun (9/5): Beautiful guesthouse, breastfast needs a total change of concept - The room and the ground is absolutely stunning, it has been the highlight of our trip to Sanur. The studio is both beautiful and practical, we also really enjoyed the shower at the terrace. The staffs were very friendly. The breakfast has been quite disappointing to be honest. We simply don’t understand who in their right mind could come up with such a setup. Apart from 2 eggs and a small amount of mushrooms and 2 tiny sausages, everything else is sweet - bread with jam, pastries, Müsli… The only things we liked were the fruits and the coffee. I understand that they try to cater to western guests, but it feels at most like an imitation of a “western” breakfast coming from someone who is not getting the point. Among all hotels we have stayed at in Bali, we liked the breakfast the absolute least.

My room was beautiful, the furniture, bedding, pillows and smell took my breath away. Will definitely stay there again. Nothing to say here, everything was perfect.

The staff are delightful and helpful, rooms large with comfortable bed, huge bathroom and good aircon. Pool and surrounds evoke a calm peaceful vibe. We only had two days at Atelier but intend to return for a longer stay. The only minor mark down was a bit of a walk across major road but easily fixed by calling a Grab.

Tout, les chambres, la piscine, l’espace petit déjeuner, tout est beau, simple, raffiné, zen dans cet hôtel. On s’y sent vraiment bien ! Tellement bien que nous y avons fait étapes 3 fois au cours de nos 3 semaines à Bali et Lombok. Le personnel est aux petits soins, le petit déjeuner est le meilleur que nous avons eu au cours de notre voyage. Rien À noter qu’il n’y a pas de restauration pour le midi ou le soir (uniquement petit déjeuner) mais de nombreux restaurants, dont quelques uns très bons, à moins de 10 minutes à pieds

• Anna (10/5): Delightful peaceful oasis within walking distance to Sanur beach - The hotel was an oasis. The interior design and fittings were beautiful, luxurious and comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful and generous with their time and information. We enjoyed the late breakfast, lazing around the quiet pool area and the stunning outdoor bathroom. The hotel is within walking distance to a variety of delicious restaurants and 15min walk to the Sanur beach promenade. We look forward to returning to Bali to stay here again. Nothing

• Dixie (10/5): Beautiful accommodation - a blissful oasis and excellent value for money. Would definitely stay again. - Absolutely beautiful accommodation. Loved the private garden courtyard. Loved that there were only about 6 rooms. This was a quiet oasis but a short, interesting walk to the beach and the main tourist strip. Pool area was beautiful and quiet. I love children but was grateful that this was a child-free stay - made it deeply relaxing. The beds were incredibly comfortable and we slept so well. My favourite thing was the evening room preparation - I felt so spoiled to walk into my immaculate room with the mosquito net enveloping the bed and the covers turned down - it was a lovely touch and made us feel so looked after. Staff were all friendly and welcoming and very helpful. We stayed 5 nights. Oh and breakfasts were also excellent. Nothing - everything was great. The only thing I’d point out to other travellers is that the nearby pavements are not suited to people with mobility issues. Crossing the bypass was no issue. If you are walking - wear flat comfortable shoes and if mobility is an issue for you, just grab a taxi, gojek/grab or hire a scooter.

• John (9/5): We just feel happy, comfortable and relaxed here. - Peaceful and relaxing space, this is our 3rd time here. Beautiful staff who are always happy to help. This property is so clean and well kept. There are no real negatives about the property, it is a little walk from the shops and restaurants, we love to walk but it is very easy to get a taxi and very cheap.
• Angelique (9/5): Superb - We loved the rooms and common area, it was exactly as in the photos. The staff were very accommodating and kind. The coffee/tea in the afternoon was a nice touch, my kids loved their iced tea! While there are some restaurants close by, the only thing I did not like about the place is that to get to the beach and most establishments, you had to cross a highway.
• Yolanda (9/5): A budget-friendly and environmentally conscious stay with friendly staff, though room cleanliness needs more attention. - Eco-friendly concept, they don’t provide unnecessary amenities like slippers and only offer hairdryers upon request. The staff were friendly and polite. Good value for the price. The floor wasn’t very clean, and we kept stepping on sand in the room. Cleanliness could be improved.

The atmosphere made me very calm and relaxed. The staff are very nice and professional. Walking distance to the beach and suggestions of nice restaurants/cafes

• Bianca (10/5): Try to find better; I’ll wait… - Everything about this property was exceptional. From friendly, helpful staff, to excellence in cleanliness, room facilities, comfort and a very luxurious stay. It’s a little bit of a wander from the main parts of Sanur - but this was specifically my aim. A spot with all the luxury, but away from all the traffic and crowds. I simply hired a bicycle for the duration of my stay and made the easy commute to all the attractions in Sanur whenever needed. I would recommend a bicycle or motorcycle hire to enhance the enjoyment of your stay.
