Guest Reviews
- E7523RTlesb (10/5): This gentleman was super friendly and beyond helpful - Kirby at the front desk, was SUPER helpful in many areas during our busy Kirby at the front desk
- Navigate67654502119 (10/5): Excellent location - Excellent location to make use of Translink services to tour different tourist sites of Vancouver; from China Town , Granville Island, Seabus to North Vancouver and more. All you need is a Compass card!
- Mike (9/5): It was fine, comfy, clean.. I thought the front desk staff could have been a little more friendly - No Breakfast at this location, several coffee places very near by. Wifi is NOT included at this property, an extra $10.00/day. This wasn't clear (to me!). I commented to the front desk, gave me a VIP pass but didn't seem happy about it.
quiet location even in the center of many buildings, convenient to downtown and West End. may restaurants near by
The one-bedroom suite was very nice, very clean, comfy bed and a nice little gas fireplace. it was the right size for one adult, 2 as a couple but a bit small for a a group or 3 or 4. lots of windows, very bright! As noted, Wifi was an extra fee. The images of a pool are nice, however the pool is actually located in another (hotel) building across the street. did not use as I didn't want to be going to another building to use the pool.
- holiday-wishes (10/5): Location location - 1 bedroom unit has full well supplied kitchen and 1 bathroom. Bed is queen sized. Bathroom has tub/shower. Street noise can be loud when windows open. Units are in high floors (19 and upward) in apartment/condo building. Staff very friendly and helpful.
- 747stuarth (6/5): Busy/noisy holiday - Great location for downtown, but very noisy surroundings(hospital and fire service buildings within a block or two made for a very noisy holiday). Constant emergency service sirens 24/7 made for a tiring holiday due to interrupted sleep. Accommodation and it’s views from 20th floor were great but let down by only one of the two lifts in operation. Overall we enjoyed our stay but won’t be heading back to this location.
- jameswV6855GN (4/5): A very rare subpar Worldmark. - There was only 1 elevator working, the other has been down for 3 weeks according to the residents. Not sure when it will be fixed. The wait was as long as 20 minutes and then it was packed at times. Our air conditioner couldn’t keep the room cooler than 80d and very noisy. I do think it was unseasonably warm. We left a couple of days early. The place was very clean and the staff were great. Vancouver BC is a beautiful city with plenty to do. I highly recommend going there. But I would recommend calling first to see if there are still problems. The Worldmarks normally are stellar. This one needs a little work.
Thank you. Pat
- K6522KCkathyl (10/5): A wonderful place to stay with great service! - Beautiful accommodations and views. Great customer-focused service. I highly recommend staying her. Within walking distance from restaurants and other places to visit.
- 961iday (10/5): Home away from home - Good location.
Good view.
Full kitchen. Comfortable. Good service. Clean environment. Will definitely come back again.
- KathleenM2787 (6/5): Worldmark Vancouver - The unit itself was very nice and the staff were very helpful. Unfortunately it must be very close to a hospital and fire department because we heard sirens going by all day and night. We were also very close to a lot of homeless people and could hear some of them cursing and yelling at night. If you don’t like heights you should know the units are on floors 19 to 25. Internet is not included in the fee and is charged in USD.
- gordonbB5841OJ (10/5): Fantastic View and People - I was on the 24th floor with a fantastic view but the units available all have great views. The staff was outstanding from check in to check out. The minor issues I had were resolved quickly by the maintenance staff-usually within 10 minutes of my call. The only negative issue I had was the confusion for parking before I checked in. There is no temporary parking place except for trying to find a place on Hornsby Street. I lucked out and found a space by the front door and took a chance by not paying while I checked in. The actual parking space is the next alley down and once you have secured your room key there is ample parking under the building itself. The parking is very secure and the fact that I didn't have to pay for it was also a great deal. Parking in downtown Vancouver can cost a chunk of money. I would love to go back to this place in the future. Great location for shopping.
- Joan (8/5): - They assisted my son into finding a room that was paid for on Expedia and yet when he arrived there were no room available.
- stevent396 (8/5): Great central location - A convenient downtown condo-hotel with secure underground parking, laundry in suite, well-stocked kitchen, fireplace, media centre, and fitness centre/pool access across the street.
The location is central but the neighbourhood is noisy at night.
WIFI is an extra fee.
The unit was comfortable but too hot with the thermostats turned down. Having the windows open was noisy.
- 600bret (6/5): don't pay for the wifi - rooms are nice, but don't bother purchasing wifi access through their provided Comcast Business. stayed there twice now, and paid for wifi, but it did not work at all either time. Worldmark will not address the issue, and will only tell you to contact Comcast Business and ask for a refund. This happened both times.
- uwdsr1 (2/5): The don’t honor bookings - I’ve had a reservation at this hotel since January. I received an email less than three weeks before the arrival date stating they cannot accommodate me. Clearly, this is because it’s a popular concert weekend and they think that they can get more money. They will come up with any other excuse in the book, but that’s the truth. Just know that if you book at this hotel, you may be told at the last minute that they can’t honor your booking.
- Chrisjw2013 (8/5): Perfect position but noisy. - The perfect central position to explore Vancouver by foot. Everything is a five to ten minute walk. Supermarkets, restaurants and shopping are all close. Great views and well appointed apartment with cooking and washing all well covered. Some of the friendliest staff I have had the pleasure to meet. The two downsides are the noise and the window blinds. The sirens are unrelenting and even at level 24 they eco through the rooms. The vertical blinds are useless and out of the three rooms we had over three stays most were broken. A easy fix of solid blinds would not only enhance the sound barrier but give you the ability to enjoy the views and give a modern look.
- Cat94114 (10/5): Great place to stay if you belong - II have stayed at this time share 4 times and am ready to go back
Not for party people They are quiet apts in the heat of the city.
Units have kitchen and washer dryers
Parking downstairs is $.
Lots of cafes and restaurants near by.
Clean. Neat and well cared for units in an apt building shared a/private tenants
- Rory (10/5): Exceptional - Great views and location!
- David (7/5): Good -
- L6059EOrachelm (10/5): Great apartment great location great staff - This apartment is so well located in Downtown and has everything you need. We stayed in a one bed on 19th floor. The views were amazing! The kitchen was fully equipped with a washer and drier, dishwasher and coffee maker. The ensuite bathroom was spacious and has a bath and shower. The whole place was immaculate. No wear that I could see any where. The bed was comfortable. There was a dining table with 4 chairs and a sofa and TV. There was AC and a gas fire too for all weathers. The AC was only in the lounge and it was warm in the bedroom but there was a fan which was fine for us. We didn't feel cramped and you could definitely stay for a couple of weeks if you wanted too as the closets were a good size. They did not supply a frying pan and there was no safe. These are the only slight points I'd make about this place. The staff were super helpful and if I were back in Vancouver I'd stay again.
- Esther Chee Khum (10/5): - I want to thank the receptionist as he was very helpful in providing information on how to get to various tourist attraction sites in the city. Also, the suite was very clean.
- Amelia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brett (2/5): Terrible service. - Terrible. I booked my trip well in advance and it was cancelled by some vendor 48hrs before the trip. Now I am being told I am not entitled to a refund despite the fact that I had nothing to do with the cancellation. I had to make another booking so I have now paid twice for the same trip and I am apparently not going to be refunded. Terrible service.
- Siqi (1/5): Bad - I was relocated by this hotel to Sheraton the Wall in Vancouver and was guaranteed a free parking. But when I email Wolrdmark my receipt for reimbursement, nobody replyed.
- Steven (10/5): Exceptional -
- laricel (8/5): - Fantastic accommodation, very clean and spacious with a full kitchen, laundry in the unit and ample closet space. The suite had a bedroom with separate living area and a great city view from the dining area and bedroom. Everything worked in the unit and had no issues with staff or the space itself. The main problem which was definitely inconvenient was 1 of the 2 elevators were broken so at least twice we had to wait nearly 10 min for an elevator (had a stroller so not willing to climb 20 flights of stairs). The parking was free (amazing!) and felt safe and secure. The building was within walking distance to shopping, dining and public transportation. Would recommend and stay again (assuming the elevator is fixed by then!).
- dgarneau1 (10/5): Excellent location - Beautiful, well appointed unit in the heart of Vancouver. We were walking distance to loads of restaurants, museums, art galleries and shopping. Only downside was the wait for the elevator. One elevator is down and ahould be repaired by Dec 2023. Then all will be great!!
- T8355TRcindys (10/5): Had a wonderful time - We stayed at World Mark in Vacouver from November 5 to November 9th We enjoyed stayed at the hotel and walked closer to restaurants, grocery store, Pubs , Canada Place and Thank you for having us stayed at World Mark Vancouver .
Gary Smyth and Cindy Shidel
- 4ECot (10/5): I just recommend it. Had great time and its very nice! - It has a great location!
my wife and I like it because it was like very personal condominium, kitchen, dining room, room itself... we enjoy it a lo. We will never forget our expierience in Vancouver and this place helped a lot!
- Toby061971 (2/5): Poor Response from Worldmark. - As per my previous review and their response. I called the number and it was a total waste of time. All they could say was sorry! As I was a renter and not an owner, that they only dealt with owners. I am unclear the point of their response to my review except to possibly look like their cared about their would have been renter.
- DarwinCake (10/5): Management who go above and beyond. - Excellent self contained accommodation with a full kitchen, washer and dryer and seperate living area. Located close to grocery store and local restaurants, and walking distance from main downtown attractions.
We caught COVID during our trip and Luis and his staff were empathetic and incredibly helpful in assisting us extend our accommodation and provide safe services to us during quarantine. I can't speak highly enough of the staff there.
- Kelly (10/5): Great location, great price, great place - The location was perfect, just a couple of blocks from the bus line that could take you to a major station or you could walk 10 minutes to the major station from the airport or from the train station. The room was fabulous with a full kitchen and laundry. Highly recommend this hotel/condo. Grocery store a couple of blocks away.
- preetr2019 (10/5): Weekend getaway - Great place to go for a weekend getaway.
Check in was very smooth. Knowable staff.
Central Vancouver, lots of great restaurants around. Great shopping.
Parking is included.
Kitchen has all the necessary equipment. Washer dryer is there.
- P4429LYkerryp (10/5): First time in Vancouver - Very welcoming and helpful staff even took as to the gym and helped us with all our questions. We loved the pool and gym and Pekoy tea. We were able to walk to the IGA and everywhere we went people were friendly.
- ellbee12023 (10/5): A 10 - overall a 10 on the resort and especially the staff...Wish I had known years ago...The cleanliness
was perfect and was cozy and warm with laundry service in the unit....we could'nt ask for any thing
better
- HelenaW87 (10/5): Great Location! Cozy Room with Great Views! - We stayed here for 6 nights and had a fabulouse time. Located just a couple of blocks from some of the best shopping and dining in the city. We took a Hop on Hop off bus tour recommended by the hotel(at a discount) that took us everywhere we wanted to go. The staff were amazing and very friendly and helpful. The 1 bedroom suite we had was well appointed but a little smaller than we are used to. But very lovely and cozy all the same. Underground parking was no problem for us and we have a full size Chev Suburban. Virtually no waiting to use the elevators and luggage carts to use. Everything was clean and inviting. The pool was located across the street along with the gym. The pool was warm and there were 2 hot tubs. The individual change rooms were equipped with large showers and there were 3 different gym areas offering different types of equipment. Well worth the walk. Will be staying here again when we come back to the city.
- Cruiser10287424889 (10/5): Wonderful condo with great view of downtown Vancouver - We thoroughly enjoyed our condo for two weeks! Full kitchen worked well, and washer dryer, was appreciated! Public transportation was amazing, used bus, sky train and ferrie! Did not miss a vehicle in this busy wonderful city👍
- johnhS1495DC (10/5): toilet - Seal on toilet very sloppy
When this is the biggest complaint the place must be excellent.
Walking distance to Granville Island. Stanley Park 5 minute drive Museum of Vancouver allow 3 hours or more. Whistler full day and well worth the time
- Sanditrish (8/5): Excellent Choice - This hotel is central and convenient. We were able to walk to the ferry for Granville Island, the Pacific Centre Mall and also the local IGA . Would recommend the IGA if you intend doing some of your own cooking. Our 2 bedroom apartment was clean and spacious. One thing we did find hard at night was the sirens as the hospital is close by. Definitely recommend.
